Thank you Father, another great teaching/reflection to take to prayer and ponder. That word from Jesus recorded in the diary (entry 1777) when talking about praying for the dying , "Be assured...." is very powerful!!! I try to say as often as I can throughout the day, every day, for those who are in their last agony and who will die this day the Fatima prayer that we say at the end of every decade of the rosary, Oh my Jesus forgive us our sins save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven especially those in most need of thy mercy.
