Saw you live in Detroit when you opened for Toad the Wet Sprocket in 2018 with my Dad. Great night listening to great music with my great Dad. Life is good 😊
Like, everything about this rocks my socks. The super chimey clean guitar tones (and just a little-bit-of-grit amp tone). Telecaster? Strat? Both? The way they overlap and intertwine in the first chorus, like butter sinking into toast. I love the little hints of violin pizzicato. The plate reverb on your vocals. The way the programmed drums add a little bit of electronic touch to an otherwise very organic and warm sound, and the way you've added some delay and darkening to the snare... (Can you tell I'm in the middle of making a record? Like, this is really inspiring right now!)
Rob! Ooh, I love that you listened with such detail!! Yes, I can see that you're in recording mode too. ;-) That IS a tele - I played it through my SR Trem Swart (small amp company out of NC, I think.) I love them. "Butter sinking into toast"! Amazing - and now I'm hungry... I hope you have an awesome time recording your new record!!
Passed on Google twenty years ago, sold my Apple stock too soon, when I was a kid, bought a lot of really bad weed. Best investment I ever made was backing Megan on Patreon. It was hotter than hell where I live when she released this song, been chilling ever since.
You might be tired of hearing this but I watched the rerun of What Not To Wear that you were on and have quickly come to love your music. I really like this video as well 👍🏻
Ariel! You totally rock. Thank you so much for taking the time to look me up and check out my music. WNTW was quite a few years ago, but I still remember it fondly, and love the time I had on that show. Thanks again!! :-)
I feel the cold and silver moon, When I am not asleep at night I have a book on Carl Sagan when I'm awake again that's too big for my mind The door is open to my room Hoping that you come inside The time only gets slower, the closer To the end where we say goodbye Is this what you wanted? Is this what you needed? You finally see it Floating on a dot of blue Good to know I'm not alone And as I think it over, like Homer, there's so much that I'll never know The wind is howling out the truth You're looking at an empty cage I was perching on your shoulder, but it got colder, and I am afraid of change Is this what I wanted? Is this what I needed? I think I'm ready for this Is this what I wanted? Is this what I needed? I finally see it Is this what you wanted? Is this what you needed? I think you're ready for this Is this what I wanted? Is this what I needed? I finally see it

Hi Harrison! That toad tour was so much fun. Thanks for listening and for checking out my music!
Surreal, moving tribute, Megan. "God gave man an upright countenance, to survey the heavens, to look upward to the stars!"
Wow! Love it!
Monica!! Thank you so much!!
This is real music!
I'm so happy you like it, Lee! THANK YOU!!! :-) Happy Holidays.
❤️❤️❤️ Gonna have this on repeat for a while
Aw! Thanks, Rob!!

So, so beautiful. This arrangement and your voice are magic, here. I can't wait to hear this again in my livingroom.

I feel the cold and silver moon,
When I am not asleep at night
I have a book on Carl Sagan when I'm awake again that's too big for my mind
The door is open to my room
Hoping that you come inside
The time only gets slower, the closer
To the end where we say goodbye
Is this what you wanted?
Is this what you needed?
You finally see it
Floating on a dot of blue
Good to know I'm not alone
And as I think it over, like Homer, there's so much that I'll never know
The wind is howling out the truth
You're looking at an empty cage
I was perching on your shoulder, but it got colder, and I am afraid of change
Is this what I wanted?
Is this what I needed?
I think I'm ready for this
Is this what I wanted?
Is this what I needed?
I finally see it
Is this what you wanted?
Is this what you needed?
I think you're ready for this
Is this what I wanted?
Is this what I needed?
I finally see it
Whoa! This is so excellent! Thanks!
Aw! Thanks Craig!
💖
Wow, veggie sis! You never cease to amaze!! :)
AW! Thanks, love!
That was quite lovely Megan. And I'm glad to see you still doing artwork. Is the drywall fish still hanging?
HA! YES, that fish is right in front of me as I'm typing. :-)
THE DRYWALL FISH!!! I'm so happy that's a thing:)
Great job, Megan! MESMERIZING...
The drawing turned out really well and the song sounded great too.
