They better make a sequel to this. First game was a interesting prospect, second game while it had its drawbacks was pretty good and the dlcs amazing. Make it take place in the Midwest, or such with Resistance and NATO forces fighting side by side or Resistance paving the way for NATO forces, the KPA having a trick or two up their sleeve, and you have to help disrupt it in order for NATO to liberate America. Just..I want a sequel to this. Also personally I think he should have flipped them off as he burned, at the very least add salt to the wounds that this time they wouldn't be successful in stopping the Resistance.
@@alvisceratortheultimate1660 theres always a possibility ive heard rumors that a 3rd Homefront game is coming and it might begine where this DLC left off after the APEX satellites were taken out and NATO launches the invasion you either play as a NATO soldier or another resistance fighter or Parish you never know but i do know is that crossing the Mississippi river will be difficult not just for the resistance but for NATO too with out one of those iron lined hazmat suits crossing the river will be impossible due to the high levels of Radiation if you dont know what a Iron lined Hazmat suit is its form the book Homefront: Voice of freedom and yes that book is based off the Homefront game
Great video, I love this story and beat the game and other 2 DLC's all on Deathwish, but by this DLC I just got burnt out on the poor gunplay. It really left a lot to be desired, and was a huge blemish on a game with such awesome atmosphere and sense of tenacity and resilience from Brady and the Resistance. That being said I still wanted to know what was in store, and this was a wild ride. Excellent last hoorah, and mad props for beating it on Deathwish ;)
Praise where its due, though htr was released terribly, by the end I was very intruiged by it. Also, its a fabulous ambiance piece. I hope they get a chance to make a third homefront, and this time maybe without the development hell that caused so many problems for htr.
I stayed away for years because of the bad reviews on launch. Picked it up on sale and loved it. Gave me some serious HL2 vibes, particularly the segments from "Follow Freeman" on. This DLC was basically episode 2 at White Forest base. Sure, the Combine are much worse than the KPA but there are many similarities in ambiance and theme, and the alternate history aspect was fascinating, with North Korea depicted as the innovator in computing. In this timeline North Korea is less brutal than IRL in many ways.... Unless you stand up to them
It sucks you don't have the gear you bought in the core game. The movment speed difference is so noticeable after playing for 30 hours with increase crouch and general movment speed. I'm pretty sure you have it in aftermath because I didn't notice being all sluggish until this dlc. This is the best dlc too so it really sucks. I even noticed a downgrade in all the increases that those gear upgrades give you take more damge reload slower even switching weapons is slower and all the enemies slot you right away. I was hoping you would at least be able to buy them again but I guess this dlc is not as long as I hoped. Still a nice addition to continuing the story with Brady having a voice.
I picked it up for my PS4 a few days ago and am having a blast with it. It's Far Cry meets The Division with a hint of Dying Light. You'll like it if you liked those ;)
It's been years so I don't recall from memory sadly. I think it was an option from the menu once you finished the game. Because I remember I didn't really like the main game, it felt kinda incomplete, but the DLCs were a lot better.

i think the 2 Homefront games are linked together cause in Homefront one newspaper collectable says that some Korean tech was found to have a backdoor in the intro of the revolution it was mentioned that Apex tech was chipped with a backdoor so it would make sense and the Mississippi River in the revolution is no doubt irradiated so the 2 games are connected
just finish main game and all dlc this game epic , i like the city atmosphere its so aesthetic chaos and feel satisfied if succesed 100% to make civilian start fightback in district , my problem just this game dont have boss fight and no iconic badass villain a and side quest too repetitive i wish its more than destroy enemy base and would be epic if we have mission into that big ship , i have so many idea mission in my brain for game like this but hard to explain lol
Hopefully they make a new Homefront that carries this dlc. I'm curious , since Brady and Lisa nuked the Apex network, does that mean the biometric ID on all KPA weapons will shutdown and anyone could use them, because that would be awesome for next Homefront.
Yeah I'd prefer to play a new Homefront game with the level of detail of this DLC, it felt much more polished compared to the main game. As for the weapons there's 2 possible scenarios, either the weapons will be able to be used by everyone, or by none. The connections won't be able to establish with the Apex network meaning it won't be able to make the authentication. I'm personally inclined to believe that none of the weapons would work after the system is brought down.
Alvet Goodridge I hope they make a sequel using this DLC build. Make the stakes count. And for fuck sake already - - ADD CO-OP TO THE CAMPAIGN!!! This isn’t masterchief, this is the Resistance. And a Resistance is made up of more than one man or woman. I loved the multiplayer co-op missions but I hated how they were A-B “Sprint” missions of who can run and kill the fastest. The co-op play was great, you felt like a true squad against the KPA, but it wasn’t given a campaign to really utilize the potential. Oh and also - - ADD NEW GAME PLUS!! The grind to regain all your weapons and upgrades is annoying since the campaign was linear and you couldn’t revisit previous red zones and yellow zones.
@@ceruleanpony2822 Yeah and they should allow you to control vehicles other than a motorcycle. Vehicles like tanks, APCs, helicopters, and most of all, TANKS. In Homefront The Revolution, they have tanks but the KPA never used them, hell not even the Resistance uses these tanks. They only use Goliaths. I get that the KPA and Resistance use Goliaths, but come on give them a break, use these badass tanks. The Resistance should've use them as well, they were just sitting there at the police station. #GoliathLivesMatter

If they do make another Homefront, we need to be able to control all vehicles. Including armored cars, helicopters, tanks, even jets.

It was playable back when I recorded this. The main game can be a little dull after a while, but the 3 DLCs were really great!

Nato only did it because the KPA were going after europe, Lisa said it herself that they knew what was already happening in the U.S.
