@@SSGKeo He was being sarcastic. You didn't show the comparison. This is effectively a useless video. You didn't even show the install process or where it goes
@@Fortyfester the sound difference is in the info im not sure what else to compare? and as far as where the horn goes, theres not much of an area to put it at . If you look at the info on video, it shows time stamps of the horns.
I saw a different video of a guy upgrading the horns on a 2022 Civic. In that video he showed that there are two original horns behind the bumper, one on the side as shown in your video and one mounted in the middle of the front. Are you sure that your Civic only had one horn original from the factory? If your Civic did have the two original horns and you put in two at the original side location does that mean your Civic now has three horns? That would explain the odd sounding result.
Honestly that might be the reason lol. I never thought of checking for two horns. My last civic had one so I assumed only one. I appreciate it I’ll check for sure
@@jacobcortez2007 in my opinion I think that the Honda civics horn with that meep sound is good it’s always something to joke about lol it’s so funny like people honk at us sometimes and if they do we go meep meep with the horn 😂
@@SSGKeo Same thing happened to me in my civic sport and now I’m thinking about replacing the horn. Dude in a truck cut me off at a 4 way and just laughed when I honked. My car sounded like a damn Prius.
Did you just twist and tape on a brand new car? Personally i see no need to mess with the horn as I guarantee the ones you took out were louder than the ones you put in and they didn't sound broken. But fuck it, it's your car.
@@SSGKeo that's really not sufficient for a high amperage component like a horn, you should invest in some solder and heatshrink tubing or at the very least butt connectors and Heatshrink. I only say this because the tape is not going to stop moisture from getting to that bare wire and corroding it to dust.
@@SSGKeo not to mention, just from working as a technician at a dealership, if a customer comes in for an electrical issue and I found that (twist n' tape) I'd have to report it to my advisor and depending on the issue at hand, you having modified that may void your bumper to bumper warranty.
Its definitely an upgrade but not sure how i feel about the sound.
Thanks for the video!
Sound is a little weird but it’s better than a measly horn for me lol. I don’t use the horn often anyway
At least you showed the difference between stock and aftermarket so we can decide if it’s worth the trouble.
its like a train horn mixed with another horn lol. If i couldve found the accord horn I wouldve gotten it instead.

Hey man, did you find out if your Si had 2 stock horns or just that 1 you took out?
There’s two ! There’s one on video. Then there’s another near the middle of the headlights. It’s probably what gave my car a weird sound
I like stock Honda Civic horns better I like the meep sound
Eh. Sounds like a broken horn
Better than stock

Sounds odd and off, imo
It is kinda weird lol. Sounds like a train horn and regular horn mixed
Better than stock
Did u use a relay ?
Horns don’t need a relay unless the out power is too much. Like the train horns
I hardly ever use the horn...why mess with it? Just my opinion.
Personal upgrade. I had someone cut me off once and honked. They didn’t hear a damn thing lol.
When you live in FL the horn is a need
Ngl just let him be him

You’re right it is my car lol. And yes I just used electrical tape and put a lighter to it for adhesion
