Great. It handles correctly in turns now, and since I upgrade the rear shocks, it rides like a couch.

The smaller “preload” springs you took out was replaced with the washer and pvc pieces is that correct? I didn’t see them go back in. Thanks great video.

Yes, the PVC is cut to a different length than stock. The length is specified by Progressive.

you don't have to remove the front wheel or relieve the weight that on the front wheel?

No. Just jack the bike up enough that the front suspension tops out and the wheel comes off the ground

I noticed you didn’t change out the fork oil, is it not necessary?

Not necessary to change the oil, but it can’t hurt. Just make sure the oil drains off the springs before you remove them.

Did the springs raise up the front end a little bit?

A small amount. About where it was when the bike was new. You could cut the preload spacers a little longer to help lift it.

What weight fork oil are you using?

In video I didn’t see where fork oil was changed. Did I miss that?

@@humid-rb7rt you didn’t miss it, it was not in the video. I did not change the oil, because you don’t have to change it to change the springs. Also I generally don’t change fork oil because it is difficult to get it all out without full disassembly. So I just run the same oil until one of the seals go, then do a full rebuild on both forks.

Did you not have a damper rod in your 883??

Yes. The damper rod is in the bottom of the fork. No need for removal for swapping springs

@@KnobleMoto Did I miss in the video where you unscrewed your damper rod from the fork Cap/spring. I got the right one swapped no prob but left fork is challenging me lol
