After your previous video with the accessible walk (malgré the path to the lavatories!) I looked the area up on Google maps. I noticed you have a model iron age village about 2 miles to the east of there. I was wondering if you would be interested in taking us there, particularly if they have some sections dedicated to spinning, dyeing and weaving, perhaps, maybe? Beach finds are always fascinating. Thank you for showing us them and identifying a variety of seaweeds and other edibles for us. Loved Millie being so light that her little paw marks didn't show in the firm sand!
The Castell Henllys is closed in the Winter but I will look at it again in the spring. They hold textile workshops which are paid events and more of an introduction so not something I would be spend money on. I'm glad you enjoyed the beach.
Hi Becca...loved your visit to the beach and the collection of treasures- in particular the laughing mans face in the middle of the dish- is it a shell or a stone? The calendar that you make each year is lovely and I would be quite interested in purchasing one as we have developed a tradition in our home of supporting artists on UA-cam that make calendars- last year was Dani Connor Wild which I hugely recommend too.
