- In this video, you'll learn five ways to insert bullet points in Excel.
This could be useful when you have to create a bulleted list in a cell. If your report is to be printed, it also makes your text look more readable.
You can quickly add bullet points in Excel using the following keyboard shortcuts.
If you have a numeric keypad on your keyboard:
-- Select the cell in which you want to insert the bullet.
-- Either double click on the cell or press F2 - to get into edit mode.
-- Hold the ALT key, Press 7 or 9, leave the ALT key.
-- As soon as you leave the ALT key, a bullet would appear.
In this video, I also cover the following ways to insert bullet points in Excel:
-- Using Insert Symbol Dialogue Box.
-- Using CHAR Function.
--Using Custom Number Formatting.
-- Copy Pasting a list from MS Word or PowerPoint.
Using CHAR function is great when you already have text and you quickly want to add bullet points to it.

How to align multiline text in one cell after a Bullet without moving bullet?. Problem is Bullet also moves as the first letter of text. I want to keep it fixed at a space and rest of multiline text, aligned and move with indent. Bullet should be stationery and text goes indented. Both the Bullet and Text are in same cell.
Sir custom option Se ni banta
Unfortunately it's hard to call it bulleting. It should be called "adding a symbol before the first letter in a cell". If you reach the end of the cell and the text is written in the next line, the text will be written directly under the bullet, i.e. it will align to the left edge of the cell and not the the start of the text in the first line. That's not the point of bulleting.

how to insert bullets point in one cell in ms office
Don't know why I clicked Alt + 7 or 9 and it didn't work for me.
Thanks a lot Sir for the tutorial........ do you have a trick to manage bullets with paragraph hanging indent in excel? i mean same as MS Word?
Also is that possible that bullet will be added systematically for each line brake (alt enter) in same cell?
For example, following your trick, I typed following 3 lines in a cell but got the bullet with first line only.
