If ur installing many accessories. Switchpros is the way to go.. i resisted for awhile. Finally gave in because the conventional style rock switches kept giving me issues. Sand and water would get inside them
Well done brother, that is how good wiring is done. Great video as I am starting the installation of 5150 187 lights on my X3, I will be following your lead on this one. If I may add a comment use Brady wire label maker to label all your wires, this will save you a lot of headaches. I have my own business wiring Yachts and High End Boats, this is what the customer expects from a quality installer.
Looks good man. Funny thing is I can tear into a motor or work on exterior and do my own wrenching in general, but electrical and proper wiring and control is super intimidating lmao. Nice work!

Hey Frank I’m in the market to buying a can am wondering what you recommend to buy a used one or new and what are things to check when purchasing a used can am
I couldn't give u a good recommendation as to buy new or used.. Im a buy new kinda guy.. if u are buying used.. first impressions are how clean the machine looks, gives an idea whether the owner kept up on the maintenance.. on canams specifically you can get s good idea on how hard they rode it buy checking the skid plate on how damaged it is.. checking from paint stress cracks in the frame.. inspecting front suspension mounting points for worn out bushings....and of course listen for any unusual sounds from the drivetrain/engine
You always do a bad ass job I used to do ok work until I found you! My work got so much better and I since have attempted to do more of my work thanks alot for all your videos. One thing that I haven't figured out was how to get wire threw the tubing. Would be awesome if you could show how you pull wiring threw the tubing. I know it can't be that easy. That's one thing that I haven't seen in any of your videos. Thanks G for all the videos.

Looking good G. BTW, for the Baja top light there should be a center bracket that supports the flex in the light. It ties into the cage.

Tips for running wires on a stock cage?
Weed Wacker string is your friend
Another trick I seen in the marine world, that i have yet to try myself is to use fishing line and a shop vac, watched it done on wake towers, as long as you have enough accessible room shouldnt be too hard, feed one side with fishing line, get the suction of a shop vac on the other end and line should come out then you can attach wires to your tail end and pull them through

Need expert advice. Luv your knowledge and expertise. I've taken off my passenger seat to the point I've cross threaded the threads in seat bracket. Is there a fix or do I need to get a new seat bracket? Thanks in advance.
Are u talking about the stud? Frame. Either way id try to repair the threads first if its not to bad.. with a tap or die

Hey frank nice video. Great job hiding the wiring. Very time consuming, hey I got a quick question I got the xprite chase light and I want to wire in the break lights. On the quick connect to the tail light what color is the trigger wire for the break light ?

I like your attention to detail. Hard to find people who take pride in there work and appreciate a clean install.
I do have one concern. It is not a good idea to attach ( zip tie ) wires to brake lines. Especially braided steel lines. If wires and brake line happen to chaff and short , you have a high risk of fire. Flash fire if pressure is in the line. Just food for thought.

Most wire I purchase off amazon.. i pay very close attention for good reviews as well as making sure wire purchased is indeed copper.. not aluminum clad zinc crap.

Depends on what im powering. For the most part. Try to match the pigtails off the devices

I hate to say it but that is a pretty typical job quality in the powersports industry. It's a perfect example why I can't take let someone else work on my vehicles. I'd feel pretty good about letting Frank do the work, and that is saying a lot.

@@BryanGarcia-fm7rf was made by ironclad... My honest opinion. All though the welds where good. There where some issues i personally didnt like .. the main roof line tubes were not perfectly straight and it was noticeable.. also the d pillars were also not bent right and were pushing on the fender plastics.
