- I hate the fact that Lucifer couldn't even finish his sentence before Mimzy destroyed the end of the song. I tried to keep as much of it as possible without her being audible, have fun
Hazbin Hotel belongs to Vivienne Medrano aka Vivziepop
distributed by Amazon
DISCLAIMER:
I do not generate any kind of income with this video, I purely cut it short for fun
Nothing will be funnier than the whole fandom hates Mimsy here, ironically Vivziepop made her sing at all because people were curious on who she was for a long time and this was her inside joke about it. But it failed horribly
I think we were supposed to hate her, like she’s supposed to give the vibes of the one kid that sits with you at lunch because he thinks he’s your friend (he’s not)
@@Bizcuits26I mean yeah
Mimzy's whole thing is believing she's a celebrity and everyone loves her when people either really dislike her or don't know who she is
Although i hate her invading luci’s and alastor’s song as anyone else, she interrupting them serves a double purpose: firstly it shows that she is self centered as she seems fit to butt into other people’s song to introduce herself, and the second one is it forces luci and alastor bickering to end in a draw, as if any of them got the last word on the song it’d feel like they had won in the end
@@PauloRicardo-fb8do yeah
The angry violin always has me dying of laughter.
An interesting trip to Georgia I suppose
That's the part that convinced my husband to give the show a chance lol
I may be wrong but I think that the violin part was inspired by the song, "The Devil went down to Georgia."

This gives me "'Friend like Me' But Genie Has Competition" vibes.
It's called Gimme the Wand and it's a Fairly Oddparents bit
“Friend like me” but Beetlejuice is doing his number from “Say My Name” trying to convince Aladdin to choose him instead.
This gives me Other Friends vibes.
I think Jeremy said that he took a lot of inspiration from Genie for Lucifer
They actually purposely made it that way to reference the movie,
I love the part where Alastor just looks at lucifer when he say DaaAaddd just to piss him off that extra bit truly my favourite part
So devious, so good 😂
The slow head turn gets me every time 😂😂
@@LilKitten9620lucifer's honest reaction: 😡🎻
Yeah me toop, so funny
I didn't even realize this until now, but Charlie only seems to actually have positive reactions to Alastor's verse. She barely says a peep during Luci's verse and looks uncomfortable during a lot of his antics (while there's a smile at some points, it looks forced), but when Alastor takes over, suddenly it's "That's true!" "Oh, you!" and a comparatively more genuine-looking smile on her face through basically the entire verse.
At least until the end, when lucifer does his "pure angelic power" you can see very real awe on Charlie's face, it's just that he ruins it with the "who just so happens to also be your blood", I'm not sure exactly what expression to call Charlie's reaction to that by somewhere between uncomfortable and scared
It's because Lucifer is offering her materialistic stuff that she can likely get herself while Alastor is actively supporting her mission and Lucifer had just denied her the one thing she wanted from him
its very awkward smiles and visual uncomfort, vs someone who has spent alittle over 6 months actually supporting her (similarly to a sarcastic midwestern father that would always get on your nerves, but doesnt do enough to hate him for.)
@@Crusader3454actually it’s only been 4-5 months
@@scruffles87 Lucifer is also a rather absent father while Alastor cared more about Charlie in the short amount of time he's known her compared to the lifetime Luci knew her.

Not only is your comment comedy gold, you also have good taste in music friend ^^
It’s a fiddle not a violin
Just noticed that the lines "Your song? I started it!" and "I'm singing it I'll finish it!" reflect Lucifer's and Alastor's relationship with Charlie. Lucifer is her blood father but Alastor is the one actually there with Charlie.
Broooo
I dont know if that was deliberate but if it was
Then thats insane!!
That’s really good analysis 🤯
Oh wait, but then again does Alastor truly care abt Charlie 🤔
@@mr.regular589 i hope 🙃

Lucifer and Mimzy’s episode should have been two separate episodes.
I feel like it's kinda a whole series problem. It feels like vivziepop is rushing. I wonder if amazon has something to do with that. I love the series it just feels rushed in a way helluva boss didn't
or at the bare minimum them having two seperate songs, literally derails one of the best songs in the series
@@typosinthebrain5363I saw someone say that they were only originally contracted for 8 episodes. Unsure if they'd get a season 2, they had to get everything into the permitted episodes or they could be dropped only scratching the surface of the story they want to tell

0:20 lucifer's eyes look like he's desperate to remind Charlie that he is her dad and to get her to need him again.
Isn’t that the whole song tho?
1:45 The bonk sound from Alastair bumping Lucifer out of the way has me in tears
FR
Alastair?
NGL I kind of wish they had just cut Mimzy entirely. She does absolutely nothing for the show other than bring a disappointing and anticlimactic end to one of the best songs in the show.
I do think she served a narrative purpose - creating a situation where we could get some Alastor backstory from the rare person with a positive view of him, for one, though Rosie later served the same function. But Rosie is a relationship for mutual benefit, with them both being Overlords and her being an information broker helping him make deals. Mimzy is clearly nothing but trouble, yet Alastor keeps her around - he’s got a soft spot for her that’s nothing but nostalgia for his past life.
She also served as an inciting incident for Husk to take initiative and be confrontational, subsequently revealing the tidbit about ALASTOR being on a leash, which was very important, and the subsequent reminder of how vicious and cruel Alastor can be. We spend most of the episode seeing him be silly and goofy and caring towards Charlie and the Hotel guests, so that extremely ominous moment was necessary. There were other ways to achieve it, but Mimzy did fulfill both roles pretty well.
That said…having her ruin that song was CRIMINAL.
@@maxinesteuer1959The song was over, Lucifer was about to beat the hell out of Alastor.
@@slavishentity6705 on that topic, I hope we get to see a bit more of Lucifer being genuinely threatening after that throw down in the finale. I wonder what it might do for Alastor’s character if he connects the dots that the power scaling between Lucifer and him is so drastic. If Lucifer is to Adam what Adam is to Alastor, then in all of his cunning Alastor will have to recognize that even if he’s been a shut in, Lucifer is NOT to be messed with.
Maybe we’ll even get to see them realize this dynamic they share of “old guard who’s been off the playing field but can still whoop some ass”.
Almost every character introduced after episode three has the same exact problem. Disappointing, anticlimactic, unnessesary, and brings nothing to the show or story 😭 Same with Helluva Boss
The show just started. Tf you mean does nothing, we have no idea what she'll do yet
Fun Facts one of the lyrics said
"Usually our price is a sacrificial lamb" later on the final episode one of the Charlie pet the lamb die and Lucifer show up afterwards
To add to it, it's also right after Adam directly threatens to kill Charlie. When back in episode 1, Lute dropped that part of the deal Lucifer made was that Hellborn were exempt from the exterminations...and right before Lucifer shows up, Adam and Lute's masks glitch out.
Guy had one rule and still violated Terms of Service...though I guess that tracks because the other "one rule" about keeping the exterminations hush in Heaven he couldn't follow either when his ex's daughter was there riling him up.
Dude your english sucks
Egh wah uh YOU'RE RIGHT
I do love when Lucifer says “who?” At the end but mimzys part just messes with the flow. Shame we can’t have a “proper” ending to the song though.

It's the same with a lot of the songs I listen to

Yall underestimate the narative power of mimsys appearance.
With how the interactions and especially the song was going, alastor and lucifer were about to throw hands.
Mimsy was there to break the tension and distract enough to deescalate the situation.
You might not like her character, but her part of the song was actually necessary to the progression.
That, and she ends up providing some more Alastor backstory, and ends up being key to revealing that Alastor himself is on a leash.
