Reading the Old Testament and especially your books on the Old Testament one can surely visualize the connection in God's providence, His master plan, if I may. It's also an example of the consequences when society gets out of the Order of the Universe. We all have a part in disorder when we don't follow God's plan. Whatever punishments we inflict on ourselves is allowed by our Creator to keep us in line, sort of what a caring father does for his child whenever he needs discipline and that's exactly what our Father does for us!

This video is triggering my memory of a book a priest suggested I read called: "Pawns in the Game" In it, one can learn about why and how previous wars were started. The beginning point was information regarding the British Empire.
I would recommend this book because the author was a Catholic who promoted Catholicism as well as the Kingship of Christ the King 🙏

If I may, here is what I think is missing about the Jews: it is correct we should not hate them, and that a remnant of them will convert in the end; however, until the end of the world, we do not have to tolerate people who want to destroy those people and things which we love. Yes, self-sacrifice is more perfect when it comes to *personal* offences, but it can be a derelict of duty when it comes to offences against those we are responsible for.
Who are we responsible for?

Maybe some clarifications would help here. Self-sacrifice does not mean rolling over to let evil triumph. It is precisely in saying that we should not tolerate usury, pornography, subversives, that you will be required to pay a heavy price. There is the self-sacrifice. And the way of going about combating these evils also calls for self-sacrifice -- we cannot use any methods of injustice or deceit or cruelty (such as the enemies of Christ use), for these always end up serving satan. Rather, we have to aspire to overcome them by establishing a solid, Christian order. This means when force is used, it is always done so lawfully.
There is much more to say, but I think we are largely in agreement. The public space belongs to Christ and He is waiting for us to take it for Him, but the only way to take it for Him is to take it by His methodology, which is self0sacrificial charity. Nothing can withstand it. It will win.

In a world where both the seats of Church and state seem to be vacant (we can at least say there is an objective doubt to the legitimacy of their occupants), where does authority for the action of lay Catholics doing their duties lie? I have been watching the Daily Mass on YT for about a month now. I can't get to my Church easily on a daily basis. I was struck by today's reading which starts with 1 Kings 11:4. A the end of the passage, God tells Solomon that he will remove the throne from him and his descendants and leave only ONE Tribe. I assume that would be Judah although it's not specified. The Christian Zionists ignore this. If only Judah was left as the "kingdom" then Israel is wrong to claim the entire land at this time. It will only be when Jesus returns to set up His Kingdom once and for all that the Kingdom with be returned to David's son. Salaam from a Catholic in Haifa, Israel
