@mikesbuilds the rear brake resivour is mounted away from the engine due to heat dissipation. Hence the brake fluid not over heating. As for the brake hose, it's supposed to be set for down flow. Yours kinks mid way with a loop needs to be a direct flow, I.e. 12 to 6, not 12 to 3 to 6. A* for the bracket, keep up the great work.
The rear brake reservoir was mounted in the same area just differently. The way I mounted it is the way it’s mounted on the 19+ ZX6R so I don’t think heat is much of a concern. If it was closer to the exhaust then heat would be a problem. The loops you mentioned are not much different from the stock hose that was there before. These are also steel braided hose so they don’t expand like rubber hoses under pressure. The system was properly bled so I don’t think there will be any lose of pressure due to loops. Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
Wow, that bracket fabrication is impressive! Looks like it's going to stay put for a long time. By the way, I was wondering what system you're using to bleed the brake fluid? Would it be possible to see it in the other video? Thanks!
Thank you! I think it will definitely hold up well. It’s just a basic brake bleeder kit I bought from amazon. It works well. I also used it in the previous video when I installed the front brake lines. The link is below if you’re looking to purchase it. amzn.to/3S381Fx

@@MIKESBUILDZ Virginia, I’m new to the channel but I’m hooked on your videos I wish you could work on my bike.
Oh you’re quite far away from me unfortunately. Thank you, I try to make the best video possible for my viewers.

I sure do, been wrenching for a long time now. Yeah I understand having sentimental value, I don’t see myself selling my ZX10R. No I’m Canadian 🇨🇦
How long the rear brake line in cm ?
