working on motorcycles in Canada in a cold garage sucks so much, good on you for getting it done.
It sure does, but when I stared wrenching, I was working outside in -40°c. Having 4 walls and a roof is luxury to me now.
The tank is a nightmare, I would have bought a new tank. Kudos for the effort 👍

I thought you could go to a locksmith smith in your area. They are the OG. I thought they could just rebuild locks.
I thought so too. I went to a couple and only one was able to cut a key for me. Rebuilding a lock is an entirely different matter. Haven’t found one near me able to do that.

Damn crazy how y’all don’t have any locksmith that could of cut a copy with that, I have it done all the time
It was difficult but maybe I should’ve clarified, the problem was with the blank keys I had. Apparently they were a different type. When I removed the ignition and took it there, they were able to make me a key.
