#Tashkent is the capital of #Uzbekistan, a metropolis with a population of more than 2.5 million people.
For many years, Tashkent has been the most important business and cultural center of the country, attracting tourists and businessmen from all over the world.
The history of Tashkent goes back centuries for more than 2200 years. The first mention of the city dates back to the 2nd century. BC e., and the modern name of the Uzbek capital first appeared in documents of the 10th-12th centuries.
Tashkent, due to its favorable geographical position, was one of the main points of the Great Silk Road and therefore remained a place of lively trade for a long time.
In recent years, Tashkent has experienced renewal and reconstruction.
Today's Tashkent is a modern industrial and economic metropolis with elements of an ancient and rich history.
