Strasbourg, France

#Strasbourg is located in northeastern #France on the border with #Germany.
For a long time the city remained a bone of contention between these two states.
The region's main city, #Alsace, boasts a long and eventful history.
In the old quarters there are still temples built in the 12th century, and the squares are decorated with picturesque half-timbered houses.
Strasbourg has many interesting museums, beautiful parks and historical monuments.
The historic center of Strasbourg was one of the first among other European cities to be included in the #UNESCO World Heritage List.
Modern Strasbourg is the capital of a united Europe and a meeting place for international organizations.
