    Excellent Alexey! It is super super helpful! I was literally struggling to catch in the Jive among all the other styles and your tut helped me to see the fine details! Trainers usually are on the cloud 9 while teaching Jive but you broke it to the finest details level. Super super thank you! Please keep posting the new leads! ❤❤❤💯

    You're the man Alexey. I love your movements and your energy. Your instructions help me a lot. You have a great personality. I want to be able to express myself like you do. I'm at pre-bronze right now and I move like an expressionless robot haha. Keep doing what you're doing!

      Thanks Alexey. I'll definitely do that. Fortunately I learned early in my dancing journey that achievements and gaining skills were empty and pointless without enjoying the process and having fun with the people at the studio.

    Excellent, thanks! Question: As you can combine things like the marching steps, rock steps or chassés arbitrarily in many ways, why was the combo rockstep-chassé-chassé chosen to be called "The Jive Basic"? It's for sure not the easiest pattern, especially as the music usually does not start with a "1" after reaching the 6th beat (8 beats in two bars). Like I'm pretty sure that the combo you show at the end (rock-chassé-rock-chassé) would be much easier on beginners.

    Alexey, on the Jive chasse steps to the left 1&2 for example, when you do double tab, do you do a rise/straighten knee action on the left knee on &? Thanks for answering my question in advance.

    • @ballroomwithalexey3951
      @ballroomwithalexey3951  6 років тому

      Thank you for great question.
      Yes you have to rise, but slightly, no need for full straightening of you knee.
      We have to create slight bounce action .
      Hope it is helpful!
      ✌🏻😊

    You would be a great instructor except that you make the same mistake as novice teachers, you teach facing the camera! If you would turn around we could follow your steps and learn 100 times quicker.
