He had a path that one Toyota team that one year. 2018 or 2019 I think. He ran solid in Xfinity during a stacked line up of higher quality/better funded young drivers.
I've seen Jeffrey run late models a lot in NC and down Georgia... he's a good racer, not great..I compare him too like a Todd Bodine. Pretty dang good, is he gonna give you a lot of wins? No not really... hes gonna give you a top 15 though, sprinkled in will be few top 10s too. In a 100 races he'd give you 80 top 15s, and 10 top tens and 10 top 5s. Imo he should stick to the truck series just like Todd, that way he can get wins
For everyone who keeps saying Dale Jr. should give Jeffery a ride, he has driven a few times for Jr in the Xfinity Series. He even had the opportunity to run full time for Jr but he wanted to make it on his own rather get a top ride based on his last name.

He legit almost came back on that last lap and almost got Gragson too. would have been a huge story if he had won.
Always liked Kerry and Jeffery, and any Earnhardt that we have got to know through racing and Jr.'s shows.Kelly is the glue that holds this thing together.I'm proud to see how well they run such a huge business.Such a great family.I wish Jeffery the very best,he is a hard worker, his passion for racing is his everything.A man who started with a Yugo racecar,to running with the best in the business.Go back and watch Jr. and his Grandma Martha Earnhardt,to me that is the best one ever,2nd Gary Balough,3rd Josef Newgarden, and all the rest are a close 4th
Only knowing what I see or hear, I have always admired Kelly for how she looked out for Dale from an early age, to where he is now. What a team they make in whatever venture the two of them find themselves in, and always ends up with positive results. To come out of the quagmire they got kicked into when Dale passed away, and prospered in spite of it just amazes me!!
There is something so pure about the Earnhardt family that is so precious. Just wanted y'all to know that I consider you America's family. Jeffrey is one of the most down to earth person you will ever meet...He has always worked for everything he has..Good luck to you no matter what life throws your way.
Jeffrey Earnhardt..... how can you not like the guy? Very humble, very down-to-earth, always wanting to earn it, instead of having it handed to him, I would love to see him get another chance with a big-time team... the ultimate feel-good story.....
This interview is making me cry, it is a blessing to watch these three talking around the table. Love you all and I really miss your Dad but I believe he would be so very proud of all of you. Thank you. Jeffrey may not remember this but my husband and I sat at a table in the fan zone and Jeffrey sat with us. He was very young, but I thought then what a remarkable young man and it was a joy. God will give you a chance Jeffrey. If I give you the year it will really show how old I am.
I still remember Jeffery’s first Xfinity start at Dover years ago. He wrecked in qualifying and I thought oh boy. Cool to see him still racing and working
He is fortunate to have one of the most marketable names in the sport. But that also brings a lot of pressure to live up to it. Dale Sr set that bar so high, I can't imagine what pressure Jr and Jeffrey have had to endure. But over all, life seems pretty good for the Earnhardt's.
So you're telling me that Dale Jr. couldn't take him under his wing and make a winner??!! That's your family and obviously Jeffrey knows the struggle ....I just don't get it even if Jr had to spend his own money I feel like it would all work out
I agree just look at how well he did at Gibbs, so just think if he had quality time in a solid ride not just a couple of races I think he would do even better.
So very cool to see the Earnhardt family talking around the table with each other, I really like this and I hope Jeffrey might end up with his uncle's race team one day! 😎👍🏼⭐🏁⚡ He's a good guy and talented 👏
I 👍 think he would be an excellent driver for JR Motorsports, I've watched racing for 40 yrs or longer, I'm old 😳 but if given the opportunity he would be an excellent driver! U can see the desire in his eyes, and hear it in his voice!
i want Jeffrey to succeed so bad! He raced for quite a while in cup and that is many many many racer's dreams... so technically can say he's already been successful. i just want to see him win races and get better equipment.
The big problem for Jeffery is, he's been in filler cars for far too long. If a team would give him a quality car he could win some races. He's been working hard for it unlike some in the Nascar scene who have had nothing but the best given to them. He has a passion to race, not doing it for the money.
Hey Dirty Mo, you guys mentioned several key aspects during the interview but then didnt help the listener understand the details around it. 'The Gibbs deal", "The DEI deal", and a few others. Please remember that the listener is not privy to what you guys already know so it would be great to fill us in if only briefly. Enjoyed hearing Jeffrey's interview from a born and raised Wythe County native that was mentioned.
Cool interview, thank you for posting, If the situation was right, I'd like to see Dale Jr give Jeffrey some seat time in a JR Motorsports car. Ultimately I like to see it lead to a competitive full time ride in Xfinity or Cup, or even in the Truck series. I wish the one race deal he had with RCR at Talladega lead to more races with that team.
I’ve watched Jeffrey race with the same interest that I watched Dale Jr race. He’s an Earnhardt, which doesn’t hurt of course, but he’s consistently shown the passion and talent necessary to succeed. How someone in the industry hasn’t seen the things I’ve seen in him & given him a chance - is beyond me. This man can DRIVE. How about JRM, guys?!?
I like him as a person. As far as Nascar driver he has had way more Chances then 99% of other upcoming drivers, just because of his last name. Nothing wrong using what your given. If I could use my last name to get ahead I would. Kyle Petty, Adam Petty,, Dale, Kerry and Jeffrey Earnhardt. Steven Wallace. The Dillion Brothers Ty and Austin Dillon both Grandsons of Richard Childress. These and there have been many others in different disciplines of racing that have used a famous last name such as Foyt, Andretti, Rahal. Drag racing the daughters of John Force one thing about the Force girls they all have great talent and winners and champions.
Dale this video was phenomenal!!! I wish and I pray that Jeffrey can find that perfect person for him that will support him 💯 million percent in life ,home and racing . I appreciate Jeffrey not using the name and family to get his rides. I'm sure it helps, even if he doesn't want it to but he seems like a solid dude! Good luck bud!
Im sure the name alone got him some places, but racing is an expensive business, and if you dont have it, you just dont have it. Im speaking ine general since i havent followed Jeffrey. Jr didnt get to where he was/is because of his Dad alone. He had skills like his Dad, natural ones, and people like Smoke saw it. Its hard to get a compliment from a racer like Smoke (grassroots, dirt track guy), and Smoke isnt going to compliment a guy that has a great team and money behind him, but no skill. Not to be mean, but I am sure if he had natural racing abilities that are needed at that level, JRM, Childress, or Hendrick would be pulling him in. That name, work ethic, and maturity is going to bring in the sponsors. I think his natural abilities is the missing link. Look at Jr, didnt start racing at all until late teens, partying/playing and having friends was his passion when he was younger and that pissed Sr off alot, it seems. Got in a race car and Tony Sr told Dale Sr, hey your boy has it. This all came out of Jrs mouth himself. That is when Dale Sr started investing in Jr. Too much money to risk, just to have your kid run around in circles, having fun, but never getting anywhere.
@@woodrow1720 Its wild how people don't get this. This guy hasn't won a race since his days racing hornets. Any other last name, and at best he'd be in a late model out of his own pocket...
@Trevor Right. And I don't even dislike him or anything. Did find it funny when he was talking down on the talent of Parker Kligerman who has overperformed most of his career. If Jeffrey was a Kligerman he'd be stuck pursuing that MMA career.
It's not that easy.. He can't just put him in a car no matter how much he may potentially want to.. Big teams like JRM, Hendrick, Gibbs, etc have drivers that will bring sponsors with them or sign drivers that can lure in a sponsor based off who they are as a driver.. That's why JRM hired Jones & put him in the 9.. Jones brought Menards to JRM
IMO, he is the next generation of racing royalty. Where would Jr. have been if he hadn't gotten the DEI ride in 97? Sponsors would be lining up, throwing money at the team like Fry in Futurama. He could be a great spokesman for so many companies. The Xfinity series will gain so much fan interest with Jeffrey in competitive equipment and with a solid team. There is nothing wrong with family helping family, IMO.
It still surprises me that Jeffrey is the second 4th Generation NASCAR driver and I hope he wins a race one day… That’ll be a story to tell! Last year when he raced the number 3 for RCR at Talladega spring race and grabbed the pole during qualifying I prayed for Jeffrey to win the race and I picked him to win the race and I was on the edge of my seat as the laps wind down and when Jeffrey finished second against Noah Gragson I was shaking… And after the race I thought “Jeffrey you didn’t win the race but you won the race in my book!” He drove that car very hard that day…
Just had an idea. Has anyone heard a rumor or stirrings about Dale Jr running in the All Star Race? He is a past winner, so technically, he can enter if he wants to. I think he should enter it in his own car, number 88 or 83. What do y'all think?
i am glad that jeffrey isnt using his last name to get a ride and is out there busting his butt doing it the right way. i would much rather see him drop down and bust his butt to win races in a good quality xfinity ride then ride around the back in a field filler cup ride. he is too good a guy for that. keep doing the name proud jeffrey, i will be cheering for you as long as you are on the track
I’d love to see Jeffrey get 1 full season in quality equipment like JR Motorsports, Hendrick, or RCR for Xfinity level. After seeing Jeff only race 1 time for JR & 1 time for RCR plus the 5 races for Gibbs, I think he deserves a quality chance vs having to fight his car/equipment to stay on the lead lap. In his 7 starts in quality equipment in Xfinity he has 5 top 20s, 4 top 15s, 3 top 10s, & 2 top 5s. Just missing a W (which I wish would have happened @ Dega with Larry Mac)
I hate the question of “when are you gonna get married?” Jeffrey said it himself he doesnt think about it. It seems Jr just pressured him to do it. So many ppl do it and then wind up unhappy. Let the man live and race.
Jeffrey has come along way I'm very surprised Jr you just don't get him in the 5th car at Jr Motorsports especially on Super Speedways because Jeffrey can draft and run up front. Great run at Daytona Jeffrey never give up.🤘🇺🇸🤙🇺🇸🏁👍
jeffery has been workin his tail off for quite a few years.i wish him future success.he did fairly well in the gibbs cars.he deserves a chance at a good ride.
I wish jr could afford to put him in the best equipment and let him race with the best 3yrs would be about the time needed to get there and after that he would either be good or he could step away and have no regrets
Yeah Jeffrey Earnhardt comes from another famous Nascar family and it's pretty much a given that the sons and grandchildren of former drivers step up and try to become Nascar drivers with various sorts of results but the one thing you notice is that they all have the competitive spirit that seems to be like the blood running through their veins and that's why there will be some family names that will be a part of Nascar history
The problem with Jeffrey Earnhardt is that he is a very good driver with little financial backing in world where there is great drivers with little financial backing, very good drivers with pretty good financial backing, and just good/ok drivers with great financial backing.
I have nothing but respect for the Earnhardt family. Senior was my hero but I can't help but wonder why junior doesn't put Jeffrey in one of his Xfinity cars?
If one was smart they could do a movie about those three people that I just watched in this video! That’s a movie I would go see more than once! Those are three very strong people!!!
I can’t help but imagine Sr being on the podcast and the things dale would talk about, I believe he would have adapted to the digital age and podcasts extremely well, it would be so awesome, only if. Raise hell and praise dale!
He is busting his butt to race. He's doing it the Earnhardt way he's not using his last name he's doing it the hard way. Finding out he knows MMA I won't want to make him mad enough to fight during a race. He could knock out any driver in NASCAR.
I really wish Jeffery would just go drive for Jr motorsports man it's in his family's blood to race. I get it stubborness gets the best of ya but damnate man for the sake of the family name drive that f*ckin car. Family is everything at the end of the day right. Take care of em brother life's only here once.
That was me. When i was ready to be married, a few years later, i found the one. She lets me be me and i let her be her. Could not ask for a better woman. Took me till 46 to find her but we found each other. I would not change a thing if i could.
Jeffrey was that close to winning the Talladega race last year in the RCR #3 Camaro with McReynolds as his crew chief. Hopefully, J. Earnhardt will do well with the #44 TJM Camaro this year.
Junior was being so nosey! LOL! OMG, I cringed for him! I listened to the whole podcast and the questions about Jeffrey and his Dad, Kerry's relationship made me uncomfortable! Should you be asking those questions? LOL! Kelley did not stop him...she wanted to know too! LOL!
I have met Jeffrey several times. Very nice person I think that day in Daytona his primary sponsor was Nine-Line Apparel "Veterans Clothing Line". He looks just like his Dad.
DNA is relevant with these 2 man and of course Kelly. Determination and resilience runs deep here! A characteristic not everybody has! Love these people.
Gotta love Jeffrey Earnhardt. He's chasing the dream big time.
I will never not pull for Jeffrey, he's my favorite underdog, hang tough Jeffrey!

Dale tell us why you and your sister don't have this guy in a great car! I mean how does allgier get the ride over a Earnhardt!!!!
Give him a chance dale jr or there give us a answer y you won't give him the chance
@@SixStringShooter he's got sponsors he probley bring more with him on his uncle team
If I was Jr. I'd be ashamed he wasn't in my car I would at least give him a shot he's got as much talent as any other jrm drivers
Jr offered him a ride, and he has ran for Jr a few times. I think Jeffery wanted to make it on his own
@@justinwilliford7151 this and also Jr probably didn't have sponsorship to give Jeffrey full time ride
@Szymon Kunda Jr is the only person in nascar that I could feel safe in saying he can always find a sponsor
Yeah what the hell Jr
@@justinwilliford7151 yes you are right Jr offered him a ride and Jeffrey said he wanted to make it on his own you are absolutely right 😘
It still surprises me that Jeffrey is the second 4th Generation NASCAR driver and I hope he wins a race one day… That’ll be a story to tell!
Last year when he raced the number 3 for RCR at Talladega spring race and grabbed the pole during qualifying I prayed for Jeffrey to win the race and I picked him to win the race and I was on the edge of my seat as the laps wind down and when Jeffrey finished second against Noah Gragson I was shaking…
And after the race I thought “Jeffrey you didn’t win the race but you won the race in my book!” He drove that car very hard that day…
Just had an idea. Has anyone heard a rumor or stirrings about Dale Jr running in the All Star Race? He is a past winner, so technically, he can enter if he wants to. I think he should enter it in his own car, number 88 or 83. What do y'all think?
He said the other day that he is not interested!
Wth?! Why is this the only clip out there of this weeks guest special but there aint nothing on Pandora?
i am glad that jeffrey isnt using his last name to get a ride and is out there busting his butt doing it the right way. i would much rather see him drop down and bust his butt to win races in a good quality xfinity ride then ride around the back in a field filler cup ride. he is too good a guy for that. keep doing the name proud jeffrey, i will be cheering for you as long as you are on the track
if hes 32 and still hasnt made it... hes probably not going to.
I had no idea he fought in an MMA event. Such an easy guy to root for.
Can’t get enough stories about the Earnhardt family. All of them are so humble. Good to have Kelley there too. Have to listen to whole Podcast
Y don't he come drive for you now jr
I'm 37 and just had my first kid. The long game definitely does have advantages and disadvantages.
I'm about to be 30 (my wife is 30 as well) and we are starting to try and are both worried about it being "too late" so that's nice to see
Dale Jr. is beating up on him like a big brother lol.
Well he ain’t his brother cause Jeffery is Dale Sr. grandson
@@HTV315 OBVIOUSLY That is why I said "LIKE a big brother"
I love when Kelley cohosts. I wish that happened more! (No offense Mike!) We just love Kelley!
Jr. is a great interviewer.
I can't wait for the day Jeffery gets to drive for JR Motorsports
Why don’t you hire him Jr?
Jeffrey is Hungry. I can see it in his eyes 👀 He needs a chance 🏁
Probably sponsorship funding and contract with the other drivers. Also saw a comment that he wanted to forge his own path. Humble guy.
Uncle Dale with the review of his dating life 🤣 I'm pulling for you Jeffrey! Keep digging.
All you can do is respect the way he's doing it!! Not taking the easy way!
I really wish Jeffery would just go drive for Jr motorsports man it's in his family's blood to race. I get it stubborness gets the best of ya but damnate man for the sake of the family name drive that f*ckin car. Family is everything at the end of the day right. Take care of em brother life's only here once.
Does Dale help Jeffrey
Would it ever happen for Jeffery to drive a Jr car? Never can tell the future, he's a good driver just needs that break to come.
Put him in A DEI CAR DALE!!! PLEASE 🙏..GO SKINS.....GO COMMIES I MEAN....IM A LIFE LONG FAN.......PS I HEARD JEFFERY WAS HELD BACK BY HIS FATHER......
There are no "DEI cars"
He sounds a lot like Don Frye.
Frye's voice is deeper, like a shovel grinding on asphalt LOL.
I don’t like just listening. I want to see the ppl talking. If you record that much you can record it all
Jeff looks like dales uncle haha
Junior was being so nosey! LOL! OMG, I cringed for him! I listened to the whole podcast and the questions about Jeffrey and his Dad, Kerry's relationship made me uncomfortable! Should you be asking those questions? LOL! Kelley did not stop him...she wanted to know too! LOL!
Jeffery sounds more like a country singer then a nascar driver.
I wish we got more kelly content. She is the glue and clearly carries junior outside of driving
I'd like to see more of Kelley on these broadcasts. She's had a full career I'd like to have her discuss on the show.
He comes across as a jerk. Always mad at someone after a race and it’s never his fault. It’s not a good look.
Great video
I'm like 666, hurry up someone else like real quick!
Jeffrey has a bucket list we don't know that he been checking off.
