"What's Zaun?!?!" The Mines of Zaun were the beginning of the City of Piltover, back before even the official founder of the city was drawn there by the promise of it's potential. Silco uses 'The Nation of Zaun' to refer to everyone from the Undercity, everyone that still works and labors and crafts to keep the city of Piltover running. Including the people that still work the mines.
I love how Vander gives up after the explosion when he doesn't see any signs of life. Then, when he sees Vi crying, he immediately starts forcing himself out of the rubble. Such incredible detail in this show.
It's nice to see someone give kudos to Silco's monologue in the beginning of episode 3. I agree that it's very striking, and while I've never personally been in a situation like that (yet) I feel like I *get* it. It's chilling. Also, I love the voice acting for Silco when he approached Powder. When he first talked to her his voice was sickly sweet, faux-friendly and dripping with poorly concealed malintent. But when she (literally and figuratively) disarms him and he realizes their connection, his voice tone is a complete 180 when he says 'it's okay'. It's actually tender and compassionate, a genuine expression of wishing comfort on another human being. *Actual* empathy. And then the anger comes; first he's empathetic because he relates to her pain, then it just brings all his seething anger back and his second 'we will show them all' is a genuine expression of desire for revenge. Not just for himself now, but also this little girl he had only moments ago been planning to kill. Obviously all voice performances are gonna be overshadowed by Powder's voice actor's showing just moments before, but on subsequent rewatches I've really come to appreciate the bit of voice acting with Silco there. Also nice to see love for my man Claggor, the guy's a gentle giant and often overlooked because he's quiet.
I liked how naively happy Kiss was and being happy about Powder being able to help and saying how she likes one of the brothers. Meanwhile Haylo will silently stare at the camera knowing full well that everything is going to go to shit.
What sucks the most is she REALLY could have helped, but she overcompensated. She used 3 crystals, 2 inside and 1 outside. Just 1 would have been enough to stun the guy and buy enough time to get out. But because she always fails she just loaded that fucker up. That, is what’s most tragic to me.
@@xArt_16 She could have helped by literally taking a nap and waking up to her family having escaped. She could have helped by alerting the authorities or Vander's crew (which we HAVE to assume he had more than him and he shopkeep, like at least a BAR worth of people who would have his back.

Vi 'bottlenecked' all those thugs, she canceled their number advantage, her terrain/environment is her ally. She always trains, she's faster and way more accurate than any of Silco's goons. Until the shimmer is in play. Vi is a warrior
its also a good way to show how a small girl can take on these heavier and stronger guys. The show doesnt just have her dominate for no reason. She is clearly disadvantaged, so she has to make up for it with tecnique, skill and strategy. Overall fantastic protray of an actual fight scene.
@@deusvermiculus1072 Agreed. I also love how the gauntlets feel really heavy and shows how strong she is as well as using the heavy weight to her advantage with each hit.

Vander’s literal dying words: “Take care of Powder.” Vi hits her, calls her a jinx, leaves her distraught and alone next to Vander’s body. Didn’t tell Vander about the crystals after he warned her that “nothing can tie you to what happened.” Because of VI’s raid, heavy enforcer crackdown on Lanes, resulting in Vander losing respect as leader. Powder’s monkey bomb only worked because of VI’s selfish decision to raid Jayce’s apartment. Powder disobeyed VI’s orders because that’s the example Vi shows her sister. Everything that happens in ep3 is VI’s FAULT. “You did this?” Vi says to Powder… No, Vi: YOU did this. And at age 16-ish, we would all be just as under equipped psychologically if we were in VI’s shoes. But I really hope that in season 2, she somehow learns the most important lesson Vander was trying to teach her: “When people look up to you, you don’t get to be selfish. You say run, they run. You say swim, they dive in. You say light a fire, they show up with oil. But whatever happens, IT’S ON YOU.”
It doesn't matter how many times you watch this episode, it's always a full on kick in the heart. And then just as you are trying to get past having your heart stabbed, the song kicks in and pours a gallon of salt on the wound.
This episode is always an exercise in holding back the "ugly cry". It's just so sad and the actors give a masterful performance on top of all the visual splendor.
That whole interaction after Kiss said 'Do you feel like I abandoned you?' was the most wholesome thing ever. You both have such a strong bond, its so heart-warming to see ❤
I think she said: Would you feel like I abandoned you? In the sense of, "did you see yourself in her? Is this how you would feel if it happened to you/us?" And I loved her answer "it's the music". (Then it surprises me to learn that many don't pay as much attention or simply link the song to Vi's for some reason?)
"she doesn't even know who he is" wait that's actually such a good point I've never heard that said. she really has no idea who this guy is. never seen him before and probably never was included in conversations mentioning him

There are 2 types of Arcane viewers in the world: Those whom cant see past the stereotypes... and those few whom understand Silco and know there comes a time when you need to rebel against oppression. No matter the cost, no matter the means. You either try, or forever stay at the mercy of the powerful. I have always been baffled by the vast number of 'reactors' that either dont understand the dynamics, or straight up gaslight Silco's goal for freedom because 'thats not the way' "You'd die for the cause, but you wont fight for one" - has to be one of the best lines in the show. Also, i find it funny that while everyone blames Silco or whatever.. they all fail to understand that the whole chain of events that started everything was Violet's fault. It was her idea to raid Jayce's place. Violet and Ekko are the ones whom started the whole shitshow.

As soon as powders bomb goes off things just keep getting worse and worse. Mylo and Clagger get killed. Then Silco kills Vander. Then Vi, understandably, lashes out at Powder. Then before she can save Powder from Silco FREAKING MARCUS DRUGS HER, and then Powder is left vulnerable and turns to Silco. I LOVE league of legends so I was hyped for this show when I heard it was in the making but I never expected it to be this freakin good. And there’s still way more to come :)

I cried wayyyyyy harder the second I watched it. The first time I was hoping, coping, in denial of what was happening. But the second time, knowing how this all ends and just how pivotal this moment was, I wept.
I know it sucks...but the truth is, Marcus saved both Vi and Power's lives when he took Vi. Had Vi gotten back to Powder, Silco's remaining goons would've just killed them both. The problem is, if Vi had gone back, Powder would've immediately latched back onto her, putting her entirely out of reach of Silco to convert. And we all know Vi would never turn to his side, so he'd be forced to kill her. Killing her would solidify Powder's resistance against him, so he'd have to kill her, too. Powder just...grabbed on to the first person/thing that gave her even the illusion of comfort, because that's what she does. She has a variety of disorders as a result of growing up down there, and probably certain innate disorders from birth. And they all came home to roost at the end of this episode, right along with the trauma of what had just happened. Had Vi gotten back to Powder, that would've just been the end of the series, because they'd both be dead. They'd never have been able to escape, and Vi isn't wining another round surrounded by those goons and with no weapons. The fact is, for better or worse, Marcus saved them both, without realizing it. He was right. "He'll kill you if he hears you." He's a dick...but he's right.
I watched it when it came out. Not only was this series the best I have ever watched. The three episode structure and the 3 weeks of release were genius. Episode 3 was the best episode that ever aired.
The emotional and mental trauma they address here is just so intense. Few shows or movies bring this kind of stuff to the table. Arcane is truly a masterpiece. 🤘
sound, music, voice acting, visuals all are 10/10 in my opinion. Makes me also afraid of Season 2 though because its unlikely that you hit the same jackpot twice in the row.
You two are super sweet, I've never had a strong bond with my brother but seeing you two, worried about eachother's feelings is absolutely amazing. Keep taking care of each other, you two!
I think the great thing about this series is how it doesn't really have villains per se, rather it clearly shows the motivations of the characters, Silco may have ruthless methods but that because he sees that as the only way to achieve his noble goals of the underground free from the oppression of Piltover, a far stronger foe.
To me the episode 3 is the most emotional episode of this season. I ever feel bad when i watch it. Powder is just a child, she never should suffer like this.
When you realize the two and a half hours you've watched were a fucking villain origin story, and a brilliant one at that... mind-blowing. I wish I felt that way more often watching a TV series.
Haven't finished watching yet but had to comment on that face and closeup when the comment was made about Powder getting one of her devices to work. That had me in hysterics 😂
The thing I love is how the camera moves back on that final shot and it's from Vi's perspective being dragged away and witnessing Silco comforting Powder as she looses consciousness and her head slumps to the side.
I re-watched the entire show a few days ago because I saw your reactions to episode 1 and 2. Love the reactions! I can't wait to see what Kiss thinks of the rest of the show.
Sevika was portrayed as many things in Arcane, but first and foremost she's a soldier. 14:50 there's not a slightest hesitation in her mind to protect her leader from danger even possibly at a cost of her own life.
In the case of Vi managing to take so many of them out... Part of it is her skill and experience fighting, but really she doesn't have that much more than any of those she's up against on that catwalk. They've all been doing what they do for a long time, and the only real difference is they haven't specifically learned anything. They're just hardened by the streets, and have survived. So she only has a slight advantage here. Another important part is that they can really only fight her one or two at a time because of how narrow it is, so they can't just gang up overwhelm her. It doesn't give her an advantage, but it does take away theirs. The real advantage she has, is just the gauntlets, or big iron cestus depending on who you ask. Force equals Mass times Acceleration. Those things are heavy, and they're hard. and they actually give her slightly better reach, and armor her hands and forearms. So they're also quite effective defensively. She doesn't need to be absurdly strong, merely strong enough. Anyone who can move those things reasonably effectively for a sufficient period of time...is going to be several times more dangerous than without them. Vi doesn't weigh much, and she doesn't have much reach, and normally in a fight those are the two most important factors. If your reach is longer than your opponent, that's a huge advantage, because even slightly more reach makes it much easier for you to hit your opponent without being hit by them. And mass is a big part of how hard you hit someone...quite a bit more than muscle power. A 300 lb guy who doesn't work out but can still move well enough, and rightly knows how to throw a proper punch, is going to throw a much more effective punch than a 200 lb guy who's totally ripped. So...when she throws a punch with those things, it's like getting hit by a car, even though her punch isn't very fast by most standards, it's still a lot faster than 30 or 40 mph, and those gauntlets probably weigh a solid 10 to 15 lbs, maybe more. They look like they've got at least as much material as two cast-iron skillets...EACH. In reality, getting hit by those at all would probably kill someone...even a big, tough, totally ripped guy. I mean...those will break bones...guaranteed. And ya don't even have to try really. A strike to the head with one of those is going to fracture skulls. Big-guy's jaw at the start of the fight...would've shattered, without question.
Has anyone ever told you that Kiss both looks and sounds a lot like Jennifer Lawrence? lol. Anyway, great reactions from you both. Just blitzed through the Act I episodes and can feel your empathy for the characters through the screen. Looking forward to the rest of 'em.
if you go back to episode 1 you can see that powder has some mental issue as she only feels sad when Vi breaks down into tears. she completely dotes on her sister and relies on her. this is shown in that scene and when shes hugging her teddy bear in this episode and then right at the end she wasn't upset because she killed everyone she was upset because she upset Vi.
"I didn't know she could fight like that" Vi can fight very well technically (for what's worth, Deckard, rest ine peace, could fight very well too despite his inferiority complex but with the same weak point of lacking a strong punch), she just lacked raw power because of her age and build. But Vander's gauntlets are deadly, they reduce her speed but since she's generally better than her opponents in that regard she's still quick with them on, and they make her punch ten times stronger. "now he's going to kill Powder" That's pretty funny because most of the time, people think in term of storytelling and say that he's gonna raise and use her even though it makes no sense at this point, he only considers raising her when he makes the parallel between him and her when she says "she left me, she is not my sister anymore", before that you're absolutely right, he intended to get information on Vi out of her and then kill her.
Excellent reaction! Well done for picking up on Silco's parallel with Powder's abandonment, it is so important for both characters going forward. And I fully understand getting emotional even on the second time watching, it still breaks my heart and I have rewatched it countless times by now! XD Can't wait for the next episode!
season 2 is in the making, but no release dates yet. no spoilers too, but just so everyone who has no Runeterra knowledge or league knowledge, Jinx and Vi are both champions (playable characters) in League.
First time finding you two. I love reaction videos and I typically don't watch introduction videos, but I was laughing so hard when Kiss was saying hey there over and over. I sub'd because of that intro video. I love your energy together. You two are gems. Wish you the very best.
Sister 1: it's okay they'll figure it out Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows* Sister 1: he's such a good dad. Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows* Sister 1: I love him, he's so sweet Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows*
Arcane is good example alternative to Canon version. But riot games is now comfirned as Multiverse. For someone of Arcane/League/Runeterra fans interested in lore of some of favorite charakters you can go play Canon lore Games like Ziggs - Hextech Mayhem - Piltover; Viego - Ruined King Rpg - Bilgewater&Shadow Ilies; Sylas - Mageseeker Rpg - Demacia; Ekko - CONVERGENCE - Zaun. Or you don't want to play just visit Necrit channel where you can watch videos about lore. Ps the last one game is so good as bomb in lore expansion

I just can't get enough of her making faces when shit's about to hit the fan xD That's soooo good! 😂😂
that look to the camera fully well knowing what's coming.... all of us watching this share that look
I watched it when it came out. Not only was this series the best I have ever watched.
The three episode structure and the 3 weeks of release were genius.
Episode 3 was the best episode that ever aired.
Bravo ladies your empathy & emotion shines like a Star ⭐ a truly magnificent episode 🙌 sending all the happiness & good vibes to both 🌺🤗🌻🐝
The emotional and mental trauma they address here is just so intense.
Ugh so good. The incredible animation aside, it's how damn emotionally invested you get in these characters that really sucks you in.
Arcane as the power to hit you as hard no matter how many times you watch it. A true piece of art.
One of the greatest episodes of television ever. A true masterpiece.
I love y’all reactions, y’all are awesome! I look forward to more. Hope y’all have a great day
Its so hard when you realize that Vi is just a kid and she acted like any kid would.
To me the episode 3 is the most emotional episode of this season. I ever feel bad when i watch it. Powder is just a child, she never should suffer like this.
Is this a perfect show? Everything is just so incredible: voices, music, visuals, plot, everything!
We will show them all
When you realize the two and a half hours you've watched were a fucking villain origin story, and a brilliant one at that... mind-blowing. I wish I felt that way more often watching a TV series.
Haven't finished watching yet but had to comment on that face and closeup when the comment was made about Powder getting one of her devices to work. That had me in hysterics 😂
My second favorite episode of the series. Knew the sister pain in this one would draw tears. Great reaction as always.
This episode also demonstrates 2 sides of magic, when used correctly and contained, and when used without supervision
Another great episode. The sister perspective really adds context to your reaction!
Sisters watching Sisters fall apart epic
I've seen this show multiple times, and this episode never gets any easier to watch. It's so good, but it hurts every time.
If I was a villain of choice ..
I’d be Silco.
Perfection.
crying here with you and i dont even have any sisters
I'm sorry, the "LOOK" is so hilarious to me Lmao
Thank you❤ your reactions helping to get through difficult times
Sevika was portrayed as many things in Arcane, but first and foremost she's a soldier. 14:50 there's not a slightest hesitation in her mind to protect her leader from danger even possibly at a cost of her own life.
always lovely to see hayley
Arcane is an amazing show. The voice acting is so good, especially powder and jinx. Amazing episode
Looking forward to the rest of 'em.
loving these reactions can't wait for the next video. arcane is a phenomenal show
The most exquisite episode of an already perfect show. I do not rate things 10/10 very often, but this absolutely earned that score.
20:30 girrrl, it hurts just as bad on twentieth time. Just as much as episodes 6 and 9 will hurt every fucking time.
just love the vibes from u two, ur awesome! s2
Seeing it coming does not make the pain hurt less 😅 That buildup in these arcs was top notch
The violence necessary for change
That's Jinx's origin story, but... Not villain origin, if you ask people of the Under city, they will say that is her hero origin story.
"Do you feel like i abandoned you?"
Oh my god why do you think she thinks that now im crying!😢
Lmfao the look at the camera when she said "maybe she can get them to work"... I'm dead... along with others lol
if you go back to episode 1 you can see that powder has some mental issue as she only feels sad when Vi breaks down into tears. she completely dotes on her sister and relies on her. this is shown in that scene and when shes hugging her teddy bear in this episode and then right at the end she wasn't upset because she killed everyone she was upset because she upset Vi.
😢😢😢 a reaction of sisters watching a series of sisters. beautiful
Nothing will ever beat showing this episode to someone else knowing the heartache.
I can never avoid crying when that music hits at the end man its too much. Been looking forward to this video.
"Maybe she can actually get one to work" 👀great response😅
😆I love your face of 'internal screaming'
Excellent reaction! Well done for picking up on Silco's parallel with Powder's abandonment, it is so important for both characters going forward. And I fully understand getting emotional even on the second time watching, it still breaks my heart and I have rewatched it countless times by now! XD Can't wait for the next episode!
season 2 is in the making, but no release dates yet. no spoilers too, but just so everyone who has no Runeterra knowledge or league knowledge, Jinx and Vi are both champions (playable characters) in League.
You side-eyeing your sister every time something dramatic is about to happen like the evil chaos gremlin you are makes this so much fun XD
I love watching your reactions. You both are such sweethearts. Have a wonderful weekend!
Those heartbroken screams Powder makes, it gets me every time.
First time finding you two. I love reaction videos and I typically don't watch introduction videos, but I was laughing so hard when Kiss was saying hey there over and over. I sub'd because of that intro video. I love your energy together. You two are gems. Wish you the very best.
Sister 1: it's okay they'll figure it out
Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows*
Sister 1: he's such a good dad.
Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows*
Sister 1: I love him, he's so sweet
Sister 2: *crying inside because she knows*
Only five minutes in "they'll figure it out!" Sweet summer child.......
9:29 "Maybe she can get one to actually work..." that knowing look at the camera and biting of the lip 🤣💯
Hey. Where is your Episode 4 reaction??
