I adore this elf star, once I have some wire I'm going to attempt it. I was thinking if you had a small mat where you focus your camera frame you would know that if your hands are working within the perimeter you wouldn't go off camera. Alternatively, you could draw a frame on your desk and work within that. Thank you for making this tutorial. For something so easily made it has a wonderful intricate effect.

Like the Pendant a lot, thank you. I have noticed some use a focal spot (a sticker, painted spot, etc.,) that won't compete for focus, on their work surface. This helps to keep from going out of frame. You do great work and I always enjoy your videos. Will try this one soon. Have a great day.

Another great video! So simple, but looks complex! I'm not sure if this would work, but maybe if you taped a "frame" on your work surface, it could help you keep from moving out of the camera frame. That's got to be a real challenge. It's nice to have the clear closeup, though.

Hi very nice work you do :) some questions, the milimeter of the 3 different sizes of the wire?(think the medium and small was the same, and what diameter is it on those? and will 1mm thickness of wire be enough to get a compact star? if I order jumprings, what 3 sizes you prefer to make that start? didnt understand what you said in the video :)

I'm having great difficulty with my pliers though. they are scissor hinged. sucks. gonna have to get boxed hinged ones like you have. the ones I bought were good for trying it out to see if I liked the projects I found, but its time to invest! lol

I like to make things and give them away in December. I just did a complete sort of all my materials and the elf star will be an item. I need to know how to finish them. Where is a place to shop for very narrow velvet ribbon? Do you think that would be good to hang them or would you think something else would be better? I'm planning to use additional rings for bail. If this weren't for a lot of people I wouldn't bother you. Thank you from Diane.
