Airbus AS350, Banner Air 2 taking off from Payson Medical center. This was a ride won at a charity auction for Camp Patrick here in Az. My first time ever in a helicopter.
I have nothing but respect for these people and what they do. This is in northern Arizona and some of their LZ's they have are pretty tricky looking to me...as someone in their 1st helicopter. The flight nurse was amazing, she has been a nurse for 30 years 15 in a helicopter. Definitely the seasoned veteran that you would want to see if you were in need.

Applaud the people that do this work! My nephew is a flight nurse on a 206. That's a tight set up for patient care!

That looks like a really awkward setup for the patient.
Nothing better than a 350b model AStar
First helicopter I’ve seen with a clock-wise blade rotation.
I worked for them about 10 yrs....when they were in West Plains MO.......love my job as an A&P. Pulled wrenches on 206L's and a 407 or two.
Different company.
@@greysheeum Oh yeah, I retired about the time they sold to the new company.
The patient they were picking up was the pilot's mother-in-law. He was taking his sweet time.
I work at Abrazos in the Phoenix metro. Yep you look familiar...😂
excellent video... nice departure profile... 😎👍
Thanks for the comment. This was my 1st time in a helicopter. Quite the experience and special to be able to ride in an AirEvac.

Man I sure hope they can streamlline that start up, it took forever!!
This flight wasn't for a patient or anything, so I'm sure the start up was a bit more relaxed for this.
😅
Old army guy I am guessing.
Definitely dosen't look like the inside of a AirEvac Helicopter.
It definitely is an AirEvac
There's clearly a patient stretcher right beside the pilot.......
Different company.
If anyone wants to see the whole flight...

What kind of helicopter is the pilot flying
Gonna guess...an Apache gunship, fully loaded.
@@clqudy4750 I'm quite sure its a Chinook.

Helmets only work if they stay on your melon, otherwise, use a pair of David Clarks.
There's nothing you can do to make the technology go faster 🦜
