Drummer I think was Nick Ceroli, who played with the Tijuana Brass. Rest of the band all studio gods as well. Bob was just the coolest and nicest guy in the world. Thanks for the post.
It is indeed Nick Nick Ceroli playing drums, man he was great! He also played drums on the Merv Griffin Show Band. The Alto solo here is Lanny Morgan. Yes, Bob was an incredibly nice man...he was very kind to me...he's sorely missed!

Played this in college jazz ensemble. Boy is that sax part a bitch, but so, so worth it.
