Why’s it so hard to tell when it’s on or off. Nothing changes on the display except a circle with a line through it.

you need an Inverter type unit for that to work , a simple AC wont do anything if you chose the HEAT option.
Auto mode just serves the same purpose as "off." It does nothing no matter what temp it is set at.
We are going on vacation. We don't understand how to program it to come on at 10 a.m. and go off at 7 p.m. everyday while we are gone. Can someone help me?

What is the meaning of the E codes. I am getting a E3?? How can I speak to a human? There is no customer service phone number listed anywhere in the manuals or on the website. Help!!
Joseph Feldhaus looks the same as my Lennox. E3 is a fan speed error. Lennox had to replace a circuit board that was defective. Since mine was installed by a vendor, no out of pocket to me. Not sure about Mr Cool.
Can you advise in more detail how the Self Clean mode is activated? I've clicked on the button but it doesn't do anything.
Self Clean is not necessarily a loud function. However, if it doesn't seem to be working at all, call us at 270-366-0457.
So, while the unit itself doesn't have a built in thermostat to monitor the room temperature, the remote does. So if I would like for it to cool to 74 and then turn off until it it's 75 again, then I just use the Follow Me feature and set it to 74?
You could do that, yes.

You can activate Self-Clean mode by pressing the button on the remote. It should last about 15 minutes and then shut off.

I don't believe so. Obviously, it does need to be in reasonable proximity.
My remote doesn't seem to be accurate with the temperature we set. We set it at 64 and closed the door to our bedroom and 3 hours later its 78 and still rising. Any one else know why this might be? I'm having trouble getting a hold of support. I've emailed, called and left a message, actually got thru and she couldn't answer this question so there suppose to call me back. Nothing yet. two units are close to the set temperature and the other two are way to high.
For the Timer off setting, do you mean that it shuts off after x amount of hours has reached? And by that I mean does the air con shut off after 10 hours (if that’s what I put) of you turning on the aircon?

Yes, it will need to be in sight of the air handler.
I just put in a brand new system and it's not running heat or cold I don't know if it needs a charge how much does this charge unit cost

You can press the "RESET" button to cancel all current settings.

I've had my unit for 3 weeks now and this week the Silence function ceased to put the system in silent mode. I also discovered today that I cannot change the fan speed, neither from the remote nor the Wi-fi app. The only function that works is turning the LED on and off. But the other functions not responding. Today I could not turn off the unit via Wi-fi. It would just show that it's "off" for a few seconds then turn back on. Turning off via the remote took several tries--I was almost going to turn it off at the breaker panel.
Normally the outside condenser is quiet, but today it was making a lot of noise as the fan was running at a high speed, even though it's only 70 and humid outside. I tried pressing Silence/FP button on remote, but it would not respond.
Not sure what's going on with this 3 week old unit.

If you have the “Follow Me” function on and the remote is close to the indoor unit but behind a wall or grow room tent, will the indoor unit still be able to read the temperature from the remote?
There should not be any obstructions between the air handler and the remote when using Follow Me.

The basic remote does not have a setting that will enable you to program specific time points. However, you can use the Timer On/Off Buttons to turn on or off according to a number of 30 minute increments you program.
Hi.,... After setting upfor wifi, the WiFi logo is displayed on the unit, but the unit no longer responds to the remote. Is this normal?

Condensation pan inside unit, how/what to do to access, to for check proper drainage?

I have 24k diy unit. After I installed it, the indoor unit drain was draining water. After a few days of operation, no water coming through the inside unit drain, however there seems to be an excessive amount of water draining from the outside condenser. Anything I can check? Is this normal operation?

What are some test to verify that the unit is performing properly? I just want to make sure I have everything connected properly and it's working right.
If the unit is cooling and heating and you aren't getting error codes, then it is working properly.

Required? No, but the more you can protect any part of an HVAC system, the better.

In auto mode, how do I set max/ min temp?
Press the MODE button to select Auto. Use the Up/Down button to set the desired temperature range. Then press the On/Off button to start the air conditioner.
In auto mode it allows me to select a number but not a range. Will the unit keep alternating between heat and cool to maintain the temperature I selected? It seems like I should be able to select a range, say 68 to 80 and the heat would go on below 68 and the cool above 80. Is this not possible?
Unfortunately, what you describe is not possible.
How can change it to Fahrenheit from Celsius? It’s driving me crazy!
On the Temp button in the center of the remote, press and hold Up and Down buttons together for 3 seconds to alternate the display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

DIY mini split
I just installed this in a rental unit and I have a couple questions for anyone who might know or for the folks from Mrcool.
What is the best way to program the unit to heat to a certain temperature during the day and evening from 8:00 AM to 11:30 PM such as 70 degrees and then lower to 62 degrees from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM for sleeping?
Could I program two timers for each of the two time periods with different temperatures for each timer? Can you use two timers at once like that?
Or is there a better way to do this?
If I set the temperature to a certain amount like 70 degrees will it keep the room 70 degrees? I read om your youtube page the unit itself does not have a thermostat so the only way to monitor the room temperature is to use the follow me feature to set the temperature?
Is that really the only way to set the unit to heat until a set temperature, stop heating when it reaches the temperature and then go on again to maintain that temperature as needed?

Self Clean mode length can vary. The unit will turn off when the cycle is complete.
Will this remote work with a blueridge unite ?
Maybe? We've never tested it, so we couldn't say. We certainly don't support our remote function with other products.

The compressor will cease function once it reaches the set temperature. However, the fan runs constantly to ensure a pleasant environment.
Why is it that the Direct button won’t control the louvre all of the time?
I don't understand exactly what you're asking. Are there times of day that the remote does not function properly?

The Direct button on the remote that controls the Horizontal Louvre.
The louvre doesn’t always want to move when Direct is pushed.

When the unit is ON, press FOLLOW and the temperature will display on the remote LCD. Bear in mind that the temperature showing is for wherever the remote is and not necessarily the room temperature.
What does the auto mode do on the left?
In the Auto mode, the air conditioner can logically choose the mode Cooling, Fan, and Heating by sensing the difference between the actual ambient room temperature and the set temperature on the remote control.
Is there anyway to lock the temperature?

@@MrcoolComfort I took a little video and sent it to Patrick McIntyre he told me to check to see if anything is hitting the fan and if the valves are open. I emailed him back that I will check tomorrow morning Saturday to see if anything is hitting the fan but I asked him to explain to me what he means about the valves he hasn’t gotten back to me yet can you please tell me what to do I’m not very handy but thank you

The fan never shuts off, but the compressor does. So the fan always blowing is normal.
Once the temperature is achieved when (if ever) does the fan shut off?..................Answer: It never shuts off. How about that? Time for me to build an interface for this unit with a conventional digital stat &/ or a WIFI command /control making a 'button presser' for the existing remote (i.e. to control this unit like a conventional central HVAC System). (Yes, I 've done similar years ago).
