Excellent - Thank you. Pretty much know the process, but great reminder of a couple of ways to get the rusted bolts, or studs, off. thx! You editing is pretty cool too.
Really enjoyed watching you changing that exhaust but what is amazing you never got your self dirty you so easy to do and we all know it's not great job brother
Of course, we enjoyed and the edits. Bandit really gets a bit wild after a bath. Now, since you are the GarageKing does that mean that Bo and Bandit are the GaragePrinces 🤔. Awesome tutorial and love when you roll on the creeper.
Thanks so much, I guess Bandit and Bo are the GaragePrinces :) They make it into many of my vids, and that creeper is a must when doing exhaust jobs, thanks so much for the comment
Ha Ha, thats why you got me here LOL ;) Some people just enjoy watching the repairs so they can learn a bit, and then I get a bunch of do it yourselfers !!! Thanks so much for the comment :)
@@karlinladeramusic There will be another one for sure, I just bought a lexus and it needs some serious exhaust so I'll film that one. It will probably be a few months away, but that will be a good one :)
Can you remove everything from that third cat converter all the way back to the exhaust tip and drive the car with no issues? Basically everything you replaced. Just leave the flex pipe hanging after the 2nd cat
Hey there, you can as there are no sensors after that point, but its going to be loud !!! Also you would have to support the flex pipe with some wire or something to prevent it from banging around.
I searched the whole pipe assembly of my 2012 Escape, did not find the flex part. I may have to add one short flex pipe between the cat and the short resonator, as I'm suspecting that there might be some excessive stress which the weak points of the connectors could not bear, hence cracks occurred. My 2006 Escape, there is no leak over the whole system.
You are right about the excessive stress which can cause cracks in the exhaust. I'm surprised you did not find a flex pipe. I'm wondering if only the V6 comes with a flex pipe? This one was a V6. Maybe you have the 4 cyl?
@@kelvinyuan5533 That would explain it. The exhaust that I did was on a V6 so that would be the difference between the two systems. Thanks for the follow up :)

I have a 2003 Ford Escape that happened that. I sent it to Meineke and they wanted to charge me $1700 to fix it. I did it by myself.
That is awesome and you saved a ton !! Way to do it brother !!
