Greetings... You dragged me down that rabbit hole! I just wanna say thank you for your awesome work. Today my Epomaker-Feker Galaxy 80 arrived and i frikkin love it! Ty and greetings from germany!
I nearly bought the Zoom65 v3 but I realized that I was not that exited for it. However, when you mentioned HE keyboard that you cannot speak about {hints} that will have great sound and feel {hints}, I am so very intrigued.
Even if you're in europe and you're used to the iso layout. Don't worry about it when looking for a custom keyboard and get an ansi board instead. if you're worried about fancy *umlaute* (ä ö ü ß å ...) the US(international) layout has you covered and offers more functionality actually.
When a market is underserved, sometimes they miss the window when a group buy pops up. I couldn't save up in time for the zoom 98 last time 😢 and I was lucky that I saw it within the window
The person who said that the Zoom was trash has clearly never built one, they've consistently been some of the highest quality builds I've made. In regards to China I have a simple take: You get what you pay for. If it's a cheap price it's gonna be cheap quality, if you pay a premium you'll get something premium back.
Great stream! Would love to see a full review of the Montech Mkey. Got one about a month ago and I’m interested in your thoughts (more detailed than the shorts “ooohhhh”)
People immediately associating Chinese things with poor quality things pops up in the guitar community a lot too from my experience, regardless of the quality of guitars coming out everywhere (like, Gibson can be pretty hit or miss for the expense nowadays).
Dam Hipyo, every time I watch a build stream it makes me want another keyboard to build 🤣🤣 I had an akko 3068B that I modded, then I regretted not getting the zoom 65 v2, so jumped on the v2.5. Now i want something else to build 😭🤣🤣 the rabbit hole goes so deep once you start... It's your fault I got into these builds 😉
I want to know a good set of items i can buy to build from scratch the mobo, casing switches not a budget one but maybe a $200-300 from scratch board, with links, build demo, and that type of stuff. I really liked the luxury build you did but the case is no longer available on the website.
This isn’t super related to this video but I thought of it when you were talking about pre-builts and a limited experience: I bought the womier-sk71 and it sounds amaaaaaazing. That’s the limited experience I need in my life. But now I’m on a moonlander. Do you have suggestions as to how to make it sound more like a womier-sk71? I bought the same switches as the womier (fact check, I think in one of your videos you said you hadn’t used otemus recently but they were hiding in the womier 😝) but they’re actually silent switches. Also, that person who said you got them into keyboards… you also got me into keyboards. I was just looking for info on ergo keyboards and now I’m here 😅 Edit: I also bought keycaps for my moonlander from womier that are made of the same material as the ones on the sk71. I’m at least trying 😂
Looks like Gateron Lunar Probe linear switches. The tag he points at on the box says something about 2 section spring, which I think is just a google translate error for 2 stage spring, which I know the lunar probes have. But it doesn't actually say on the box But this is just going off their looks in the video, hopefully Hipyo can confirm what they are
65% isn't it... 75% is minimum for me, and any keyboard company releasing a 65% should automatically release a 75% counterpart for those of us who need arrow keys and don't want them squished in with the other keys on the panel. I will never buy a 65.

@@HipyoTechooouuuu yesss please this sounds like a good idea
Ouuuuu yeahhhhhh
"I die so you don't have to" XD
'So here in the afterlife is a keyboard that people say sounds like...heaven?'
Why haven't we seen a zoom 75 v2 yet? Thought that one sold pretty well but we've seen like 3 new versions of the 65 since that one came out lol.

46:20 His comments on 75% keyboards in the market today!
They each have their pros, but not inherently bad!
24:38 based
very good screen so you can actually have full customizability
or no screen

When soldering you can get a desk mount extraction fan with carbon filter. They are not that expensive and I won't solder without one.
I have one 😭
