Just saw it all, I love the idea that schlatt and puffy where related: and the way you told this story was great, even though this wasn't the intended music it still hits hard.
It's not cannon that they are, it's just a headcanon.

I really love how you form backstories for the villains of the DSMP. The symbolism is incredibly cool too, with the usage of wolves in the background feeling like a play on "a wolf in sheep's clothing", which is exactly what Schlatt is amongst his people. The way you showed Schlatt's progression into his antagonistic role was really well-done too, and it feels like him throughout the whole thing!

I really like how you clearly visually communicated that Phil tried his best to softly tell Schlatt that he should leave Tubbo with him. Getting angry only to look over and realize that he'd probably ruin Tubbo if he continued to take care of him.
I assume Phil is holding Schlatt's hand more to comfort him than a "deal handshake" type beat, sense he understands this is a really hard decision for Schlatt even if he understands he's not fit to parent. Probably encouraging him to get better for Tubbo's sake.
It sure feels like Schlatt "bounced back" in the future cut with the wolf.
But Schlatt never actually got better.
He simply decided to lean into his wolf side. Become as cruel and vile as everyone around him treated him. As everyone around him said he was. Becoming the ultimate self destructive prophecy in the name of not wanting to get hurt again.
It all ties to the running theme in DSMP that history will repeat itself so well. Almost like the world itself is cursed to loop.
Being so young and jumped automatically because of his wolf side, regardless of the fact that he did nothing wrong. Leading to him losing control and eating his love before running off with baby Tubbo. In a way proving to everyone around him that they were right and further adding to his self loathing.
Then when he's an adult he's already coming in embracing his wolf side sense he was conditioned to. Now he's actively choosing to harm others. Once again brutally killing his own family by executing Tubbo. Leading to him getting jumped once again, but a consequence of his own actions this time.
OOOH THATS SUCH A GOOD ANALYSIS

Aight story summery, Jschlatt was Puffy younger brother and in a very young age, their mother pass. They were sent to an orphanage and it seem Puffy was accepted immediately but Jschlatt was discarded and Puffy couldn’t help him. Jschlatt now know that he is born different, having sharper teeth than usual, probably suggesting he is like from hell or something and was neglect because of this.
Soon they grew up and were able to transform into their semi human form and by celebrating this, they went to a carnival. Jschlatt meet his love there and they had tubbo but in some point in time, Jschlatt had killed her by accident and now had to care for Tubbo alone plus the burden of this guilt.
Looking at the side by side comparison, it seem Puffy was out exploring and didn’t knew what Jschlatt was going though and thought he was living his life. Back to schlatt, schlatt started having drinking problems after and would neglect Tubbo. He notice this and decided to give him to Philza to raise him better than he can and left
In ‘Manberg , we see that Tubbo doesn’t recognize schlatt to be his father but he does but look like doesn’t tell him and so on and on till it reached the present time
I dont think schlatts a demon in this, i think its a wolf because a few reasons. First i saw a comment about wolf in sheeps clothing and thought that quite actaully suites the situation we are shown, second the flashes of a wolf when something bad happens, third i feel like schlatt would have more demon features if he was part demon (example: maybe look a bit like bad or have some bits of him that are black or red but he's full on fur... See where this is going?), fourth notice how we're only shown the mother and when she dies like you said they go straight to an orphanage instead of any clue of them going to dad since he's also theyre guardian. Tho there is a chance the father could be a demon i see more potential in wolf since schlatt is all fury if he was demon he probably wouldnt be completely fur (unless some demons are furry we dont have much info on demons on the smp besides bbh) and the only features changed are his teeth that are sharp and his nails/claws. This isn't anything to say your timeline was not that good i actaully agree with all your theory but the demon part im just givin' out my theory on this ^w^

I love how you made Schlatt look cuter at the beginning and then a lot more of the "mean" Schlatt we know on the SMP. It really shows a good contrasts in some not-canon lore for him. Also great artwork!

Schlatt isnt a villian in my AU, more of the neglecting father is trying to overcome his childhood trauma and trying to be a better father type of character
But the backstory you did gave me the same vibe somehow

Personal headcanon:
The wolf shown before along with the goat was shlatt's parents. Puffy had a different dad and therefore was not born with the sharp teeth and unstable nature. This is why the shadow behind shlatt was a mix of wolf and goat

Schlatt is such an interesting character, and even if this isn’t canon I think he also has the best villain origin story on the smp.

I absolutely love the story that this is telling and it’s animated so well! I watched both videos with the different audios and they are both amazing. This one specifically still sends a powerful message, especially the line "Sometimes I don't think this body belongs to me." (Paraphrasing) and it being about him being different really works. (If I understood the story correctly)
I love the storyline you made for c! Jschlatt, it just really fits with the events that happened in the future and with his personality... Good Job!

Wait....So Schlatt is some sort of like evil ram or something? Is he like a demom ram or something? If so why is he that way....Adds more mystery to him. Maybe thats why he has a revial book.
Apparently, what I got from this, is that Schlatt is a ram-wolf hybrid.
He’s a wolf-sheep I think.
Hence the white fur since minecraft wolves are all white. While minecraft sheep can be black, brown, white, pink, etc.

I really liked it. I don't really see a lot of animations about Jshlatt, i love him and i really think that he's character don't get the appreciation he deserves. Anyways, thanks for the beautiful animation. ^w^
I find it funny your Schlatt headcanon is very similar to some OCs of mine , with the whole half-sheep half-wolf thing, despite my OCs having nothing to do with DSMP. Even some smaller things like Schlatt killing his wife is like was happened with their parents (except it was the whole wolf pack that killed their mom, not their dad.) and the bit with the sheep discriminating against Schlatt is like what happened to my more sheep-like sibling OC (except it was the wolf pack again, not sheep) It's kinda neat how little similarities between stories can be found!
Funfact : goat horns can actually grow into there head causing them to die

Both version of this are extremely good! 💖 I love the backstory you’ve put in place for Schlatt! I love his character in the cannon story, I had a feeling there was a different reason for why he was so cold and drunk all the time. Even though this is a head cannon it’s still really interesting! Especially In the way that it could theoretically smoothly fit into the cannon story. And it all looks so cool the way you draw it! The talent is godly UwU

I love animations like this because it makes you feel,relate, and humanize characters. For Shclatt he lost a loved one early on in his life, he was bullied and he lost the live of his life. Makes you feel bad for him

That's actually a brilliant excuse for why Schlatt didn't realize Tubbo was his son. Schlatt didn't recognize him because Tubbo was too young to turn into a human when he left, so Schlatt only recognized Tubbo was his son when Tubbo turned back into a goat when he died. That's a fun lil' headcanon that I think I'll pocket. :D
Honestly this is definitely how a view of Jshlatt, Tubbo, Captain Puffy backstory, it makes sense, and fits well with the Dreamsmp
