The cold facet will make each freezing arrow hit more impactful but the IAS hitting a higher breakpoint has higher DPS overall while the all res also adds extra utility. That said, the cold facet may be more beneficial in areas with high cold resist or immune monsters.
I haven't gone as far as testing it, but pus spitter has a few issues. Being a crossbow, it's pretty slow. With elemental builds as well, you want to focus on faster attack and things that improve your final elemental damage, such as +skills. Pus spitter doesn't offer any of that, and while it has lower resist, its proc chance (4%) and skill level of lower resist (radius, % reduction, duration) is quite low to really make this worth it. It's perhaps _okay_ as a support if you're using strafe while under fanaticism while others kill things for you, but not if you're soloing.
@@Bowazon yes, i only used it as support once for fun, it is sad that all crossbows are outclassed... last season i played mist on Clod Merc Faith on Main with strafe, was cool. i hate infinity, it is just to broken, i never use such things like hammerdin Sorc, Infinity. next season i will play Riftsin, later on Destructosin (destrucktion runeword) on my kicker.
@@sliver667 I hear ya, infinity is too strong to pass up if you're looking for clear speed. Any class that has fire, cold or lightning as the main damage source will almost always use infinity. A bit unfortunate. Good to see some people appreciating some off meta builds though :)

Cold bowazon is safer and more budget friendly, multishot bowazon is potentially faster. Both are fun :)
