Such an amazing glimpse into Lanai and life in Hawaii for many. I absolutely loved watching this and wish it went on for hours. Many thanks, YETI and Eduardo Garcia.
This is awesome. What an awesome short film. Also, I never really understood why people pray around food, and I’m not religious, but this made me tear up because this opened my eyes to the fact that people are thankful for the land, sea, and food they have-something us in the supermarket suburbia and big cities don’t ever understand, and in some cases don’t want to understand. Great work
I am hungry now! Thanks Yeti for sharring another GREAT slice of life. I have to get me another Yeti, mine was stolen from the bed of my truck last spring with all my Bear meat from the butcher...Now I am saving to get me a new one so I can fill it comes Moose season.. Yeti you guys ROCK!
I consider myself more of a vegan/ vegetarian with very little meat eating but the way Eduardo and his crew approach hunting is exemplary. When they "harvest" meat you can see the level of care and respect that goes into their hunting process and they don't waste any of the animal. I could only imagine if more people adopted this approach and philosophy the meat "harvesting" we wouldn't have all the environmental and health issues that come with industrial animal agriculture.
Every hunter I know takes that much care and more, its a total different ball game when you busted your ass to actually go make a kill and get that meat. People are so disconnected from that aspect of their food that they end up not caring about it. On the flip side of that you have very small pieces of land that are taxed with feeding most of the unproductive world, farming has become what it is out of necessity, nothing more.
You guys make such cool short films. If you ever want to do one on the boring life of a lanky guy with a weird personality who catches small fish in Michigan, hmu!
Some dudes live like this and others live in the India slums and clear sewage drains without any protective equipment for a dollar a day. Life is a trip.
Just watched the whole series. Eduardo's the man! Now I want to get outside and explore. With all the fishing, it makes me want to learn. I need to start doing some research on the correct fishing gear for my area. You guys are awesome, keep up the good work at Yeti! Hopefully we will all see a bit more of Eduardo in the future on this channel.
It's more of a partnership then employment. They already own their own companies. Yeti has contracts with several top notch vid production companies. they definitely find best in the biz. inspiring af
luv it----meat first--not the size of the antlers----this is how I have always hunted---and most important getting a perfect shot---and processing the meat yourself--Eduardo you are a good stewart-- for the environment.---wyoming hunter---let me know if you want to check out cowboy state---for hunting and fishing.
You should probably still conserve a little on the islands, but the reason there's so much guava is because it is an invasive species. Take as much strawberry guava as you like but please be careful with the seeds to keep them to areas that haven't been invaded yet.
Mattziboy Mc he came across a dead black bear carcass and without realizing was struck by the same buried electrical line that killed the cub. 2400 volts charred his hand, forced the removal of four ribs and numerous sections of dead muscle. Incredible & beautiful story of resilience and life.
nice story but frames 2:48-2:49 seems like was taken from this guy's 2015 video ua-cam.com/video/m7LCnrhXFcg/v-deo.html (frame 2:30) - similarities are just way too close; wondering if he's given credit. Or better yet, maybe a promo Yeti cooler and tumbler? i'll take a cooler too while you're at it - mahalo!
I’m not even trying to be ignorant and maybe it’s explained in a video I’m missing, but what happened to my mans hand? If you’re walking around with no hand you got a story to tell and I’d love to hear it! Sweet videos
I hit the googles and he was out hunting in Montana and came across a dead bear cub. He touched it with his knife, not realizing there was a buried live power line under it. He was electrocuted and lost his hand to severe burns. While in the hospital, he also found out he had cancer. Oh and did I mention he walked 3 miles for help after getting fried? Dude is tough.
The world needs more Eduardo Garcias. Great, great series.
Thanks Mike! I'll pass on the kind words to him :)

Atomic trigger punch at 3:50. Killer series though.
Lol that scuba sounds as they go over board with snorkels.
So by the time I get around to going full size on the screen, it was almost over. Great take on life, fantastic work all the way around.

Thanks Matt! Ed is a beast! We're trying to get a full blown show like this and we'll be updating everyone at chefeduardo.com :)
Most fish I ever caught and the largest that got away was on cane poles and mealworms, it doesn't take much. You'll be bagging fish in no time.
Awesome show!!

I don't think Dorian would appreciate being in a video with footage stolen from fellow Big Island boy.
What?

what's the name of my hungry life intro song
It's funny how they don't use any firearms in these videos after the NRA stunt. lol
Or maybe because they wanted to harvest with a bow, or maybe the law here is bow hunting only...
Joe Rogan got me here
Joe Rogan, anyone?
Buy a $5,000 cooler and a $400 cup and you can be cool just like these dudes.
I just wanna fish man :/
Lemme taste a deer
Your hunting on private land aka the ZOO not public land . Fyi!
