When you listen to this while working in your office with your "dear" colleagues without hearing anything else, you start to look at your work environment as if you have an 'out of body' experience. Everything starts to slow down and you start wondering "What am I doing here? Who the hell are these people?....................................................................................
A fractal series in Vangelis' music is certainly appropriate for a film whose last line is: "...All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain." _____________________________________________ "And through a fractal on a breaking wall , I see you my friend, and touch your face again...." (Seal, 1991).
Listening to this multiple times now, it feels like I'm inside a really beautiful room for thirty four minutes. When it ends, it's deafening, and I immediately want to go back inside.
Slowing this song down, you can feel every single layer and each layer is a song unto itself. Utterly spell bounding and heightens this songs perfection. It transports you to somewhere else, like you're floating through time, slightly beyond reality. Beautiful, thanks for the upload, I could listen to this all day.
When the cast, the music, the photography, the story talk to you like if the movie was just made for you then the whole becomes more than the sum of it. That's art. It never leaves you. It tells you a story about you and the whole mankind in the same time. Not a lot of those movies exist to be fair...
I was 10 or 11 when I first saw the movie..now when looking at these pictures and listening to this piece of music. I feel fascinated, mesmerized and utterly intrigued again just like that 10 year old boy I once was. Rachel oh boy! Being a grown up now, you can't help but fall in love.
I had to leave a comment, as I red many. I feel like in another dimension, deeply connected to all past, present, futur of my 10 years son. I feel something flooding into me like eternity, deep sadness, and mortality too. That’s song sound, is the only one that gives me this deep connection with his soul, or images of our lives. Impression of déjà vue. Deep sorrow, emptiness.
Wow, a take on a classic. One of the best OST ever recorded. Now...wow. Two years ago we were on I 75 heading down river of Detroit. It was so dark and rainy. Big rains that year again. South of downtown once past Cork Town the street lights do not work. It becomes very industrial on this elevated highway. Suddenly I was lost. Lost in time, lost in space. I just slowed down as we floated in thin air. Then the sky lit up. Around us, in front of us. This big brand new Cadillac SRX felt like a air ship as we passed the refineries belching burn off fires from the stack. I happen to have the OST on. We had just escaped a submerged freeway by the skin of our teeth minutes ago. Thank you tractor trailer truck driver for the surge and push past the other cars bobbing around. I felt like Decker on his way to Tyrell. Voices on my equipment, planes struggle to aproach DTW In front of us the sky surged with fire. Besides us the refineries, Ford and furnaces pushed fires up the stack. I looked over at him. I knew time was little we had. A gas truck had overturned just a mile in front of us. Blew up. It was by chance we were not involved. Our world is dying. As in Decker's time, as in now.
I've been listening to this type of music a few days now after only just discovering it (the "stretched stuff" not the ambient) and watching those travelling through space videos on mute simultaneously and a thought struck me...how peaceful it was, how I felt "at home" and I thought to myself that maybe I had tapped into some kind of ancient DNA memory...how life got to earth, travelling through space, slowed down by some kind of hyper-sleep etc.....maybe life is more incredible than anyone could ever understand....
Great compilation, much appreciated. Very cool after a hard day in the aerospace world to come home and have this coming through my Audoengine speakers. Great for meditating as well, it puts me in the Blade Runner Universe which is not logical if you actually think about it when trying to relax, but it works for me.
I do like this better than the original, laying back with a few beers just clearing my head. who would have known that slowing down this track would sound so good. nice work
I can see myself gliding through my kitchen making a fried bologna sandwich. I can feel the cold grape soda pouring into my cup. This music is perfect for the mood. Well done.
I have about 50 saved pictures of screen shots and art work from Blade Runner looks great when I set them as my screen saver. Very beautiful works of art.
Very nicely done in terms of slowing down some music. And Come to think of it. I should see about putting something like this on when I go for a long walk. To where my mind and soul is completely at peace while exploring the universe some more. But what do I know? Aside from that. A fine job done on the video. God bless and Merry Early Christmas.
I am listening to this as I come up on a high with some goood naturally grown bush weed. This puts me into absolute relaxation mode. Ask the mountains is another fantastic song by Vangelis.....Before there was Hans Zimmer... There was.....VANGELIS.

I love Rachel the first time I saw her in 84...I was 10 years old....my first love was a droid....damn....
Hector Morales Well, far better looking than R2-D2, to be fair ; )
Hector Morales; I can so relate, bro!
It’s ok I was 15 bro. It happened to many of us. we are the Rachel droid first lovers and we must live with it for eternity.
you're not alone, we are proabaly an army of Rachel's lovers ...^^
The fact that majority of people think that replicants are droid is mind blowing

You make up these questions, Mr. Holden, or do they write 'em down for you?
This is good comment, Shamrock.
Someguy8047 In answer to your query, they're written down for me. It's a test, designed to provoke an emotional response.
Kind of reminds me of the Slo-mo sequences in Dredd ; )
ShamrockFive yesss!
Vangelis meets Eno. Pure bliss.
Astonishing. The ethereal, breathtaking beauty, hidden INSIDE Rachel's song. LIke a fracatl series, a beautiful piece inside a beautiful piece.
Well said!
Much like yourself

I love fracatls!
@Anton Gromek "For the game never heals, when a replicant deals..."
I love the way that towards the end it goes from so peaceful to so haunting...
Listening to this multiple times now, it feels like I'm inside a really beautiful room for thirty four minutes. When it ends, it's deafening, and I immediately want to go back inside.
sounds like something a replicant would say
Sounds like what I hear in my head when I lay down in very dark place and look up at all the stars. There is blending of harmony.
Your lucky all I hear is my damn tinnitus
This is exactly what I needed in my life right now.

Beautiful music to accompany a video of a train cab ride from London to Paris via High Speed One and the Channel Tunnel !
This movie was a cinematic game changer.
And what is the name of the movie?
@@tashonda99 Blade Runner.
Probably the best ambient sounds I've ever heard ...sounds match exactly the movie..what a jem!!!
Anyone else in 2019 enjoying this masterpiece?
Oh' yeah! 😉
This is my go to composition when I need to focus and avoid any distraction during work. I am a game programmer.
I’m in 2156 this track is huge.
@Sarina Bethany Myers That's right ! Beautiful girl!!!
Something magical about this, sounds like angels in despair. 8*(
I like tht description
Tears of regret from the Annunaki
V nice both this and the original 😔 nice upload
I started listening to this 7 years ago...can't stop!!!

Great ambient and futuristic 2049 !
The ultimate definition of 'Love is a drug' :)
Absolutely awesome , very excellent slowed down and so smooth. perfection personified
This is absolutely awesome. Never would have thought it could sound so good. I have a request.. Enya - Aldebaran. Thank you!
Would be wonderful to see Vangelis reaction to this alternative version oof his masterpiece :)
This track puts my baby to sleep instantly thanks
Slowing down the music adds an even more ethereal tone. I like it.
You can almost hear the individual numbers being crunched...

Great find! A new way to appreciate Blade's OST from Vangelis.
This was really well done!! Thank you for making this!! Almost feels like I've taken the drug SLO-Mo from the movie Dredd.
Rachael: synthetic queen of my heart.
That is just PERFECTION
Nicely done. 800% slower shows what quality and "timeless" music Vangelis composed.
Dude, literally any song can be turned into this. Rebecca Black's Friday has a similar sound when it's stretched in this way.
Wow, a take on a classic. One of the best OST ever recorded. Now...wow.

Reminds me of Toto's score for "Dune." Just a certain track.
And Sean Young is in both films. :)
Great job on this. Like looking at something beautiful, but from a completely different angle.
bluebird
thanks for listening.
good job. very relaxing. I'm sure Vangelis himself never thought of this. I dig it.
How to make an incredible song fucking incredible.* ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED *
I liked the original but LOVE this version. Amazingly haunting! Thank you.

This is incredible actually...!!!! Big thumbs up
Wow I really like this track from the update version of the new soundtrack? Thank you for having It here for my listening pleasure
damn, this is sooooo atmospheric.
it wraps around you. great idea to play with the speed. Blade Runner OST will live on forever
this temporal trick brings out a lot of nuance from the original piece ... yet it's still recognizable.
Thanks so much. It occurred to me that it's possible Vangelis have produced his music at one speed and changed it to another.
It's unexplainable how well this puts me to sleep!
Interesting twist on this song absolutely beautiful
HOW IS THIS SO PERFECT

Parallel universes within the ancestor matrix?
Is this testing whether I'm a replicant or a lesbian, Mr. Deckard?
Just answer the question, please. ;)
I should be enough for him.
The answer is yes.
Replicants are like any other machine - they're either a benefit or a hazard. If they're a benefit, it's not my problem.
Just answer the question.
Wow. this gives the original so much more depth and scope. Well done!
For me, many of these slowed down versions don't work so well--this is incredible...
i hope this video never gets deleted
So simple, but so effective. Beautiful music indeed, thank you very much, I love this version best.
It's like being one with God. Cradled in the Arms of The Universe!
Rightly described..!! Thanks.. Keep listening..!!
so...you've been one with God? Please expound
Because Vangelis is a God :-)
You are amazing...your metamorphosis...well done
Oh, thank you very much :-))

It's amazing because you do songs at 600 or 1000x slower and it really doesn't work. But by some miracle of audio physics 800x is magic.
Very nicely done in terms of slowing down some music.
