- This is a guitar I made using wood salvaged from an old piano. The amp used in this video is a 1969 Fender Princeton Reverb with no effects.
Specs:
-Fender Original Vintage Telecaster Pickups
-Fender bridge plate with Stew Mac compensated saddles
-Neck is an Allparts TRO-C
-The finish on the body and neck is waterbase lacquer (EM6000) from Target Coatings.
Great looking and sounding guitar.
i like your laid back honesty... you keep posting and i will keep watching. 😂
Cool! Nice build, I like the mini SG style pickguard. I think a chrome, or perhaps black v shaped ring around the neck pup would perfectly complete the classy look.
Just beautiful (!) ...and I'm so curious about the wood from this piano, like wuzzit a honky-tonk type depression era or (?)
...and what type of wood and where was it cut from and did they/was there a proper legal organ donor card?
The scratch plate is unique and so cool. Thanx mang and Cheerios (not the cereal) 🥸
Have you ever thought of making an electric acoustic?
I was wondering where you learned to make your guitar. I want to do the same, but am looking for some hints. An electric doesn't appear to be to difficult, mostly i want to know how to build and set the neck with precision.
