@@markhopkinsmusic HI Mark. Yes I have always had the clarity option engaged, and have gone back and forth between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping. If I had one complaint about this pedal, for me, it has too much gain, especially early in the rotation of the gain pot. So I tried asymmetrical as it involves 3 diodes and is a touch cleaner and less compressed. The downside to that is that the clipping is less smooth and more gritty. Thinking about putting everything in their default position and spending some time with it that way. Love the K side. Easily one of the best klones I have ever tried.
Outta nowhere my local GC had one in the used pedal shelf. Expensive pedal but holy smokes it sounds incredible. Never been a TS10 guy, never been a Klon guy, this pedal is magic though. Just had to get it.
Great pedal. Really like the concept behind it. I own a TS-10 and it’s amazing for blues. It adds a sustain and sweetness that’s pretty unique. Stacked with the Galdio, you can get some reallt amazing tones. I had never heard of Nordvang before this video and it’s always cool to learn about new quality brands. I looked them up and found another pedal they make called the Wingman which is two Klon circuits in one pedal which looks cool too. Killer demo!
I think they are slightly different and the No. 1 is more true Klon territory. But ultimately I’d recommend gravitating towards whatever your ears love.
Yes that would be great!!! I have a Ryra Klone and a Duellist which I both love(but only uses the ts side of the duellist). I’m wondering if this one could replace them...
That strat is so good! I love the look and the sound just screams "classic"
Nothing sounds like a Strat, except a Strat. It’s taken me way too long to realize that.
@@markhopkinsmusic what model is that bad boy? Haven't seen that color in a long while
@@joshbabbitt9243 it’s my 99 Strat. I think it was called a “roadhouse”?
@@markhopkinsmusic that's such a killer color. Almost like an inca silver or something
@@joshbabbitt9243 yeah, it’s weird cuz it’s Shoreline Gold but looks silver in some light
Absolutely on that throaty sound. What an amazing sound!
All hail Nordvang LoL!
Great sounding pedal...never dystopian just clear articulate drive...love it. Thanks!
It’s pretty stellar!
My dudeeeeeee this sounds outstanding. Excellent! Actually just sat here for a bit and just enjoyed the playing.
Man, I told you it’s wicked good!
@@markhopkinsmusic But now I hear the goodness. Epic.
Pedal really does the thing..that's for sure! Both sides sound bang on and juicy!
So dang good man!
i like this pedal! it totally nail john's tone from "gravity" and other times when he combined the two (ts10 and klon)
Man I'm so glad to have found your channel. You've got the same taste in gear and music as me, can't wait to watch more demos. Subscribed!
Welcome Matthew!!! Thanks for watching and Subscribing!
Great demo and pedal! Love mine. Was curious if you tried any of the internal switching options on the TS10 side? Thanks!
I've always just used it stock - did you mess with it at all?

dude that sounds SOOOO good!!!
Man - I am truly impressed - who knew i'd love the TS10 circuit so much!
Soooooo good!!!! Juicy!!! 🤤
Thanks!
Just got it 5 minutes ago!!!😎

That’s a solid used score!! I totally dig the TS10 in that pedal- super glassy and tube like

Thanks man! This thing is really really good!
I have the Bonsai set to the TS10 and the Gladio SC and they are incredible stacked together
I suppose you have already moved this one on. Just ordered me a little xmas gift for this year. Getting the new V2 of the 83' Drive...Can't wait.
It’s all over my last record. Henrik makes amazing stuff, you’re gonna love it!
@@markhopkinsmusic Sweeeeet!
Man, you can PLAY. Curious what front end style you had your Studio Sig set to? (Two-Rock/Blackface/Schofield)
Thanks Gregg! 99% of the time it’s the Schofield setting so I am guessing that’s what this was. I like how that setting hits ya. What a great amp!
This sounds awesome mark! What do you use to record your audio?
Thanks! I use an Apollo x4 interface and usually just a 57 on the cabinet - working man's rig haha
I bought a used perfect condition Nordvang No 1 at GC and was wondering if Gravity klon side is similar to No 1.
I think they are slightly different and the No. 1 is more true Klon territory. But ultimately I’d recommend gravitating towards whatever your ears love.
Awesome vibes!!!
How would you compare the ts10 side of this pedal with the ts side on the duellist? Is this one more “hi-fi” or more vintage?
Good Question! I should probably do a video on this - is it something you'd dig seeing like a 5 min quickie on? I haven't directly compared them yet.
Yes that would be great!!!

@@markhopkinsmusic please do the comparison.
Excellent! Does the pedal come with your playing ability, though? :-)
Haha, some days are better than others today was mediocre lol. For real though, it’s killer
@@markhopkinsmusic great playing and tones, have you tried the protein overdrive it`s killer also.
@@jeffdubuque5622 I haven’t but I’ve heard nothing but good things.
