I’m just hoping I can make it through the rest of my life without being featured in a Dr Grande video!
Be good!😇
Lol
Don't worry, you can.
unless he decides to try something new + upload analysis videos on gr8 gals
Well, I sincerely hope that you stay out of trouble 😀 ❤
I laughed my ass off when there was a guy who robbed a bank at the height of the lockdown. The time when you weren't just allowed to cover your face in the bank, it was required. He kept his covid mask down under his chin through the robbery. The only person in the bank not covering 2/3 of their face was the one robbing it.
This is the funniest fucking thing I’ve ever heard
Too dumb for jobs!
We had a guy rob the bank using his own van. We got his license plate and when the cops got to his place he was trying to wash the dye from the dye pack off the money. Small time money laundering just doesn't pay.
I heard that one bank robber used a piece of paper with his name and address on the back to write the hold up note! Unreal (but lucky!)
😂😂😂
Lesson #4: If for some reason you feel the need to rob someone, do take the time to conceal your identity somehow. If you do not, not only will you get caught, you will be mocked on the Internet as being an idiot.
I love RASPUTIN! I asked Dr Grande on patreon to do one on Rasputin a few months ago .. I wish he would!
She wanted to be caught. Was earning street cred for when she hit prison. Sign of Grand Narcissist.
@@oleopathic good call!
It is not a new concept-right? And let's flaunt the expensive jewelry right?
@@BucketHeadianHagg That cat was really gone.
I grew up in a home worth under $100K and never once thought of robbery as an income producer.
"Not a day went by when she didn't think about the victims."
Sounds believable.
One can only imagine what she thought of them.
Hahaha!
Sounds totally legit to me !!! 😉
Not a day went by that she did not think fondly about the victim's fear.
@@MotherOfWednesday 😂 Best comment ever 👍

And the thumb comment! 😂🤣
Get - Sarcasmic! Great word!
Everything about Abigail screams Grandiose Narcissist. She'll get out of prison with a new scheme.
she used her privilege to get a lighter sentence.
I am with you. Her arrogance is astounding. My tolerance for people like this is nil.
I would suggest a one way ticket to a miserable place so she can contend with what many have to.
Her next thing will be self-help or some business scam. She's so predictable. Gross.
@tankthearc9875 what other cards you got in that deck?
If Abigail had been a young black male, instead of a young white female, I wonder what her sentence would have been.
You know the answer to that
exactly what I was thinking, slap on the wrist for the person who actually committed the crimes and 30+ yrs for the non white female ones
She should have gotten the same sentence the other 3 robbers did.
If you can afford the best attorney race is irrelevant. Look at OJ, he killed 2 people and got way with it.
@@djquinn11 True, and he had the fame thing going for him. That surely helped.
In addition to his riveting content and astute analyses, Dr. G has such an ASMR quality to his voice. All his talk about sociopaths and psychopaths and other nut bags is oddly soothing to me. LOL!
I’ve fallen asleep to this channel more times than I wish to admit
I too, find Dr. Grande voice very soothing and listen to his voice to fall asleep to.
I agree! I use his videos to fall asleep to 😅
Yeah soothing, having Joe Pasquale's voice really wouldn't assist his profession!! 🤣 🤣
I have to agree. I play his vids or podcasts to fall asleep. Have had the occasional odd dream as a result, but they definitely aid my transition to sleep, oddly enough.
“Usually getting away is part of a criminal plan” 🤣🤣
Dr. Grande's actually quite witty & amusing! I love how he inserts his comical stings into what's usually a pretty significant case analysis ! "Who knew that mental illness could actually be fun?" 😂
She didn't wear a mask because of vanity. She wanted to become famous.
Or stupidity
Vanity is stupidity
She's not going to help other inmates in prison, all she's done in her life so far is help herself. She just said that, hoping the judge, and others, would be impressed by it.
To be fair, her options in prison are pretty limited, and she’s likely educated enough to know the socially acceptable answer. The honest answer-reading, watching television, trying to entice guards and fellow inmates into romantic encounters and money-making schemes-isn’t going to help her.
Rull Mourn. . Agreed. . If the gal had developed original thoughts along her brief adolescence path . . ... She'd be elsewhere today.. Tragic, sad.
Or in the hopes it may get her out sooner. They say there are more Christians in prisons than atheists!
@@eek1759 ..yarp, either jailhouse preacher, or lawyer.
Yep.
Bad idea on retail store jewelry. It’s marked up about 300% right out of the gate now add it being stolen to the equation and that’s a very high risk for a comparatively low reward.
Don't steal!
Not asking for me but what would be the ideal hit? I would think a small town bank. Less money but less security.
@@atheteusalexopoulos6876 That tidbit of information is never free; not prepared to do the time then don't do the crime.
TEN YEARS ISN'T ENOUGH.
Well, since Dr. Grande mentions 7 armed robberies, that comes out to a little over 17 months for each one -- basically less than a year and a half for each. So, you're right.
No, 10 years is WAY too little.
This White, female privilege is out of control !
In Florida, in state court, they probably would have enhanced her charges with the RICO act (racketeering).
She would face a natural LIFE sentence.
With a great, politically connected lawyer, cooperation with the State, a sympathetic Judge, and a ton of money and sex bribes; she MIGHT have been able to plea bargain a 20 to 25 year sentence.
White privilege.
If you ever have one day where you don’t post a video, we will all be convinced something terrible happened and send out a search party for you, Dr. Grande. Keep the videos coming. Each one and all your hard work is very much appreciated 🥰

When there is so much misinformation and rampant stupidity in the world. My younger brother had some friends like this. Thank God, he grew out of that phase. Thank you Dr. Grande, for bringing these stories to light.
Not even a little surprised she got 10 years when they got 30+. It pays to be a white woman with a rich family in the courts.
Did you check their criminal histories?
@@eadweard. she had a criminal history also.
@@denisew3631 Interesting. Same sorts of crimes... or different?

It’s really amazing how someone who had all the opportunities to succeed in life, decided to be a robber. Those opportunities will certainly be limited after the prison stay.
Excellent analysis as usual, thank you Dr. Grande!❤️
It would be interesting to know more about the family dynamics. Especially what became of her siblings.
People everywhere have mental health problems, regardless of opportunities.
I hope the victims have a good support team and that they can find peace.

@@bthomson .. >Bull shit. .. I'm with Ms. Christine Prerez. . The 4 defendants circumstance sucks big time. . Finding peace within will be a tough haul . . .
Wow! Not a single once of sarcasm was meant - if that is what you thought?
I have met people 'like' Abigail over the years. Often they are intelligent, good-looking, and have a vicious mean streak. Co-workers will try to remain outside of their orbit but should circumstance bring them into their crosshairs......well, it usually turns ugly. The effects of aging may diminish Abigail's ruthless nature, but otherwise, she will not alter her behavior.
@@bthomson Well, I wasn't quite sure what you meant exactly either, but it's okay. Maybe that guy's having a bad day.
"These sophisticated criminals" gave me a chuckle! As always thank you for yet another quality show, Dr. Grande!
They successfully robbed two banks. And 4.3 million in jewelry.
She says she only "earned" $30,000! Waitressing pays better!
I love it when im having my coffee, and then i suddenly get a notification from Dr Grande!

@@bthomson Hi B!!! Hope you're having a great weekend so far!
Soooooo she is the one physically robbed these places yet she got a deal lol I wonder why 🤔🙄
Maybe your brothers and sisters are prone to these types of situations
@@mythoughtsandme5413 Yeah but they were just accomplices, and got 30 years consecutive, that's heavy for not actually robbing the stores with a firearm.
It's because they're black. Just say it, no one cares. Also note to black people: stop being criminals.
@@peteywheatstraws4909 Priors + not agreeing to a deal.
My question is who got the money? She got $30k out of $4.3 million worth of jewelry. The others trained and used her to take all the risk while paying her little. No wonder she took a deal to testify against the rest.
I love the comparison from 'Mission Impossible' to "Fargo'!! It is incredible that she did not try to disguise herself. It is also bizarre that she did most of the crime, yet she got the least sentence!!! Thank you for doing this case - never heard of it, but then, I am in the UK.
BASICALLY, SHE GOT PIMPED. THERE IS, MORE THAN LIKELY, A SEXUAL COMPONENT TO THIS TRAGEDY RATHER THAN SIMPLY NAIVETY.
Who needs facts when you have feelings?
So many people think I can commit an armed robbery as long as no one gets physically hurt it’s no big deal, but it can be extremely traumatic for the victims they may never be the same
I agree. A loaded gun pointed directly into a person's face is the stuff of nightmares.
I have never understood why you can get a lighter sentence if you rat on others. That is not a sign of anything positive. Just a "me first"-attitude.
To increase the likelyhood of getting caught and thus preventing crime.
Courts like mitigation saving time and money so this worked in that regard just my opinion and experience
Because you would be complying with the objectives of law enforcement. It isn’t a crime to be selfish.
@@memyself4431 my thought is that you should be judget for your crime. Period.
That isn't usually done unless the prosecution needs the criminal's testimony in court, and/or inside information to provide additional evidence. It saves us taxpayers money, as investigation and prosecution are very expensive. It also makes the community safer, as conviction is much more certain.
Grande is the king of deadpan delivery
I find it ironic that an employee of Hooters was attacked from behind when the company was built on their employees fronts.
She didn't attack her "front" as a professional courtesy.
Obviously they have to satisfy customers like Michael Scott 🤣😜
@1:06: "Abigail often traveled to downtown Atlanta to hang out with a group of people, her friends referred to as a 'sketchy' crowd. "Sketchy" LOL.
Exactly ans in the time line she did that before robbing places. She wanted that lifestyle that is why she hung out with a sketchy crowd. They did not talk her into it. She went willing .
In the U.K. last year some members of the public would perceive the lack of wearing a mask way worse than bank robbing
Dr.Grande, you may want to have a look at two court judges from Napier New Zealand. One leaving a trail of miscarriages of justice and one who is being hounded out of the family court. The government will not take responsibility for either.
Thanks for my daily reality check. Your well researched and thoughtful analyses ground me when the media (social or otherwise) tries to dictate how I should think. 🌵
You know you're a mess when you're in the final year of high school, the home stretch, and you can't even hold it together long enough to finish.
Agree! She is a hot mess.
Yes, very unusual.
This is a classic example of someone who could have become anything she chose and she became an underachiever.
She had the right complexion for the protection
Well, her accomplices had a much longer and more serious criminal history.
And anti-snitching culture is very strong among Black males. That’s a big reason BM do the most jail/prison time when convicted and why they are disproportionately incarcerated re: other racial/ethnic groups.
Cutting deals is how you look out for yourself in criminal courts and snitching is how you get less time.
She played the “me, first” game in court and she won. Hate the game, not the player!
Wow, what an incredible analysis!
I love how your content is full of wisdom, and comedy! ♡ "....their thumb was covering the first item, which read: wear a mask." 😂
I'm not understanding why she was able to testify against them when she was the one robbing 🙄? She could be lying... This girl was already a trouble maker!!!! It's not right!!!!! This isn't Justice, I hope she get hers 100%!!!!!
I was thinking the same thing. How is the actual stick up person able to testify against the get away driver and accomplices? However, 10 years is no joke. I think it was fair for someone her age. Lots of ppl get in trouble for underage drinking it’s quite a jump to armed robbery.
Oh hell yeah. She is a liar.
Easy; She's a white, rich girl, the men are black, coming from a "lower class" area, and the American "justice" system is racist now, was racist then, and has and will always be racist.
The 'lookouts' should have been given the deal to testify against the robber. That's usually how it goes. She lied and they believed her. She should have gotten MORE time than the others.
@@theavocado6061 I agree, I personally would faint if I was given a year, 30 days even.... So I get 10 yrs is a long time.... However, she wasn't sum kid who made a couple wrong choice's 🙄.... She was robbing for close to a million $$$ a pop.... This girl should have been given the Book in my opinion..... It's totally EFFED UP on every level
Keep up the great work ! I love your insightful videos

Thank you Dr. Grande, for another straightforward and thorough analysis of an interesting case. I love that you remain non-judgemental and dont allow your own feelings & opinions about criminality to factor into your final thoughts. You Always Inspire Me!
It’s a shame this girl corrupted these poor boys into a life of crime
Believe all women.
You are too biased to be on a jury.
You know the jewelry store shredded all sales tags then called their insurance company!
The blonde got off easy and the black guys got screwed.
Like always
She was smart enough to snitch. They were dumb enough to think snitching is disloyal.
She cut a deal and snitched; they didn’t.
She was the only one who actually committed the robbery. If anybody should have gotten a deal, it should have been one of the 'lookouts'. That's how it usually goes, when everyone involved are men.
Why did they believe her story, in the first place? Justice was not blind, in this case.
Is it ever blind? Lol
Agreed.
They were probably both offered deals and turned them down due to the “no snitching” culture that BM are always leaning into with their full chest. 🙄
She wasn’t as stupid as her accomplices were.
Very informative, Dr. Grande.

I've met a few "Trophy Wives" just like that: they go with "feelings" , marry well, and you do NOT want them on your jury trial. If the husband goes bankrupt or dies, they're down to the CClub real quick and walk out with "notanother" paycheque on their arm.
So sad when someone continually chooses bad over good until they fully trash their life.
WHAT must her Dad, (and Mom), have done to her in order for her to have this level of burning HATRED towards them and herself ? 🤔🤔🤔
Maybe the "dare devil gene"? Children can and do just turn out " wrong!" And depending on what happens to them (good councilors, decent peer groups, staring sports situations', lack of available drugs) they either turn out ok or not!😇👹

So because she’s an attractive female she was assisted and given a way less sentence
Attractive?!?! No 😂 Just a white woman getting a lenient sentence because white women.
She is just as guilty as the others. No plea deal! Shame. Justice was not served. Thanks for sharing this. The same remorse she showed when caught before? Sorry, this time I must disagree with your analysis.
Don’t apologize. I’m appalled with his analysis on this one. She was the sole robber in most of the crimes, directing impacting the security and feelings of safety of the victims. At no time did she ever say she was forced to do anything. Grande, like the judge abs jury, viewed her as a little white girl corrupted by three black men. Meanwhile, she walked into the store alone, with a gun and walked out alone with the loot. How absurd it is to say her 10 years vs her co-conspirators 32!!! years is fair and reasonable. How offensive! I usually agree with Grande but this analysis is wholly disappointing to me. It even offends and angers me

That one inconsistency of not concealing her identity adds legitimacy to her story because naturally their motives are purely self determined as to frame someone else who would be in plain sight thus deflecting attention.
