Lexus does make this style of filter for the RC350 F Sports. The parts number is PTR03-53141-AA and the cleaning solution is PTR03-53085. The thing with the K&N filter is that while it improves airflow, it doesn't do as well of a job as other filters like Wix a capturing contaminents. But since there's an OEM reusable air filter, it's most likely been tested with the engine spec in mind. For some reason, my F Sport came with the Denso yellow filter instead of the reusable one. I guess that's an addon feature that I did not know about.
Yea. With k&n air filter more air flow with more contaminants. I might reconsider and get an F sport filter but I need to see the data from the f sport filter to see what the differences are.
@@Giangsturh yea it would be interesting to see. I just found out today because I am in the market for new filters and I came across your video. It doesn't seem like the RC F filter uses oil. I was a bit hesitant with the k&n for that reason. I am not sure how it will work out long term whether the oil particles from the filter might impact sensors in that airflow path.
@@foureight84 that's what I thought as well. Some say don't spray too much of that oil on the filter. I thought the Fsport filter was a dry filter style.
@@Giangsturh I have used them in all my cars over the years. They are super easy to clean and recharge. I got my RC 350 f sport about a month ago. It's absolutely perfect!!
@@Giangsturh yeah you'll have to end up getting one. Don't remember what I paid for it years ago, may $20 at the most, but I'm still using the same kit.
Yeah, the sound is the only thing I noticed. Other than that I'm not sure about power gains or gas efficiency. I mean, if it's sucking more air due to the noise, then I'm guessing there's a little more power but not noticeable.

Nice. I did mine yesterday. Only sounds a little different but the important thing is she can breathe now!!
Indeed. I've always wanted to get this filter because of their lifetime gaurantee. Just slowly upgrading this car.👍

Nice
Any power difference? Even tiny? I notice noise difference
