They are a comedic duo with Ceccon the straight-man to Pan's cheeky quipster. It finally dawned on me that Pan's sense of humor is cheeky with a bone dry delivery (jokes with a straight face). (They also have a good, mutually respectful relationship as competitors. I just saw a clip of the two fist-bumping while waiting in the corridor or wings to be introduced - presumably for the Singapore 100m free race. And they chatted a bit, as well. Nice warm interaction in contrast to the usual idea that competitors have to be fierce rivals, as Phelps was with Thorpe or the other butterfly swimmers.) Again, I wish World Aquatics would upload the full video of Pan and Ceccon's routine. Why film the sketch if only to release snippets here and there in piece meal?
Thank you so much for this gem. I knew you would come through with a longer version. I caught snippets elsewhere and waited for your upload, never thinking you would capture the longest footage yet. Hated that World Aquatics or whatever official recording the outtakes or behind-the-scenes didn't release the full video from the get-go. Even on World Aquatics Instagram and Tik Tok carried only short videos of Pan and Ceccon's skit, which the videos are so entertaining, WA should upload the rest. You made my day from a horrible nightmare of yesterday in my country!
Xingyi, I saw what happened on the other video. Swimming bloggers had problems with trying to use the Olympics footage, even merely for analysis of Pan. You'd think by now - nearly 3 months after the fact, they wouldn't be as possessive. Or if they would simply upload the event on its own than forcing us to stream the whole day of swimming just to view a specific event - oh after registering an account, nobody would have to try to share a past event with other fans. Shouldn't it be public domain by now? Thanks for sharing nonetheless. I did get a chance to view the race. I can't remember if I ever was able to see it prior. Many of the swimming heats are not available or its only the semi-finals, so it's not as if the Olympics channel or website is making it available to viewers anyway. Streaming on those sites truly is horrible. It's the reason I wait for your video even when I have Peacock to watch it live. When fans have to fill in the gaps, those public companies need to get their act together. Here's a comment in support of you!
Nice to see them all so enjoy the outings in Shanghai, China! 👍
Great video. Thank you. Ceccon and Pan are so funny.

In the pool, they are competitors but best of friends outside competition.

It's priceless when Pan suggests Marchand and Ceccon perform the Chinese opera. He's naturally and universally funny - no matter the language barrier.
I would be so scared looking downstairs 😂
