Why make it so underpowered? I run 3.5t 273 v3 on my stealth frame using a 20s20p 60Ah pack w/ an unlocked svmc72200 doing 30kW peak power, its definitely the fastest 'ebike' at that point. You should hit up Amorge battery to sell u a pack for the stealth, they do 72v 38Ah w/ 200A cont & 300A peak for $900.
@@jose-emanuelgoossens3050 Amorge works directly with Molicel, Samsung and Lishen factories in China. They are well known in the DIY world for their best value packs.
I was about to recommend amorge as well I can see I was beat to it. I still hate nbpower till this day for that garbage battery they sold me at $1600. You know the battery Allen at amorge will set you up with at or less than that price, You’ll be pulling at least 500amps for that price.
Edit: I saw the pinned comment but I'll leave the question here lol. What controller do you have for your QS205 motor? My bike will come with a 80A controller because I heard that a 150A could be damaging for a 5000w motor. What's the top speed you'll think I can get with 80A
Another great video brother, i got some coming but not that goid of ones. But im 6 2 250. I hit 65mph all the time would go faster but runs out of room. You have to remember weieght difference between 205 and 273 is bid. My bike weighs 190lbs. 205 will get you there quicker but 273 does not ever overheat like 205. Also top end way better. But with some programmimg and field weakening. Its way more piwerful and meant for high speeds 205 has more torque stock but less speed. I will never use a 205 again unless i want offroad. But my bike is for my daily driver for work and travel
What in the delusional world are you talking about? Torque and acceleration? Bruddah the more length the magnets have the more torque the motor can produce. QS273 is the largest and fastest 'ebike' motor. People use it with nd96850 @850 phase amps. I doubt a qs205 can even handle 500 phase amps. The Torque at the wheel when actually using the motor to its best ability is way better on the qs273. A good set of hubsinks and ferrofluid and u can run a 961200 on that beast as long as you told the motor seller to send you the upgraded phase wires.
@SRN AR8 THATS WHAT I SAID. Read before you make idiotic comment. That's what 273 weights twice as much. 205bis for torque andv273bis for speed these are facts. Why don't you actually no something about math. A 273 Will not beat a 205 off line. Unless 273 has major field weakening and or a 5t but no top end like a 2.5t. 65mph stock, with a big ass like mine 6 2 250. First bike ever to handle me but it's still way to low. And I got a 21" turtle tires(outside diameter is 27.5.)
I haven’t wheelies a pedal bike in a long time. But I assume it’s similar because it’s really just about finding and holding your balance point. And when the bike does the work for you it’s easier to do.
Hey do u recommend this bike for the long run and enduro stuff? I’ve seen videos where people get bad wheel problems where it’s not centered and much more problems. I’m planning on getting one with 12k watt motor 72v 52.5ah
So I'm doing an almost identical build based on your initial build and what you've learned. I even ordered the same battery from NB Power (72V 40ah) and 150A controller/ BMS to power the qs205 3.5T. Did you add ferrofluid, and do you experience any heat issues pushing 12KW? That's my main concern being in Texas. Thanks and love how helpful the content has been! I can't wait to start this project
hi mate great video. just some questions if that's ok.. I'm running a 15000wat 72v 60amp with a sabvoton 150amp and a QS273 2.5T.. I'm looking at getting abit more low end acceleration.. also. is there any upgraded controller that would work with my set up? e.g like a bigger amp and better quality.. aswell is there any videos you have to help setup a sab150amp with a 15000wat motor please. like parameters.. appreciate it mate
You have plenty of power, your motor is probably limiting your low end acceleration. The motor's T rating is like a gear ratio on a gas bike, where the higher the number the more torque the motor will have, but the less top speed. If you switched to a 3.5T motor you would have more low end torque. I'm planning on building a bike with a 5T motor because I want as much torque as possible, and I don't mind having a lower top speed.
@@Calthecool hi thanks for your reply much appreciated.. after looking. I have a sabvoton 200amp installed. for some reason I thought it was 150amp.. right I understand with the motor rating. like 3.5 and 5t ect.. @@clungechewerGM I'm actually about to buy the parts to build my first bomber ebike, so I'm still a noob also and I haven't used the app yet. I'm going to be making a few videos about the bike, once the bike is working I'll make a video going into the app's settings and seeing what they all do, as I love to mess around with stuff like that. As far as the motor goes, from my research and past knowledge with brushless motors it really depends on how you are going to be riding the bike. For me, I'm just using it to have fun with, not as an actual commuter bike. With a 5T I should have a bunch of torque for ripping off-road with a top speed of about 45mph, which is plenty fast for me to get around town. If I were you I would research the top speed of each T value, and choose the one that matches how you plan on riding. From this video, it looks like 3.5T with 12kW goes around 65mph, so if you think that's fast enough for you then I would go with that.
