Auto Drivers in Chennai are the worst. Chennai already have a very well connected transport system but still these auto drivers loots their customers

That’s how a good, entertaining, unbiased review is made. Most bloggers come to India and show some stereotypical aspects, without which it seems their experience of India is incomplete. Just some little bit of research and a bagful of experience teaches you a whole lot more. Loved your style, also you kept a cool head in dealing with these erratic autorickshaw nuisance. Staying firm and unfazed is an art. After all you are a Ukrainian! Packs some punch!! With the exception of a few cities in the South and definitely Mumbai, the rest of India especially North India can be daunting in dealing with this menace of getting an autorickshaw at a fair price. As a foreigner, Uber is always the safest bet at the best price. Happy & safe travel. Subscribed after having watched just this 1 video. Cheers!!

It's located opposite to my college,we used to go to phenix mall often , you can't buy anything inside the mall.. everything is expensive...wifi is the only thing you will get freely inside the mall😂😂

Welcome to Chennai! My parents told me i was there when i was a little baby and then took a train to a temple in hometown in Kerala (im Malaysian Indian). At that time everything i heard about Chennai was negative (people shitting in the road sides, rubbish everywhere) but im very happy for the Tamil people, many of my fellow friends in Malaysia visited places like Chennai, Pondicherry, Trichy, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kochi and Trivendrum had only good things to say. India is really moving forward, i cant even imagine if i go there and theres a developed metro system omg 😯
The negative thing is what they (media) wants you to see even now you can find BBC and big western medias trying to defame India in every possible way but no one can hide the rapid development and truth in todays world

all the biggest tech corporations in the US such as google, microsoft, apple, oracle, amazon etc. etc. employ engineers/AI professionals from Chennai in the bay area back in the US mate.
There are some stores like Reliance digital and croma, you can buy all sorts of electronics of dufferenr brands from them. Its like a one stop shop. There are others as well. But these two are the popular ones. Also in every mall look for a kiosk or map, every level is usually product specific. With the last floors being food courts and theater.

I feel your frustration with the tuk tuk driver at the end of the video. Have had this happen to me few times in all our travels. Last time was a taxi in Istanbul. I just tell them to pull over and we get out.
I faced same problem there too. Just avoid them.
Taxi and tuk tuk all over world same ? I thought only in India happens.
I have faced the same issue with them at the same place. The worst part is they don’t let uber service anywhere near that mall.
And sometimes when you try to get a tuktuk using uber the driver will call you to ask for more money 😅

Always book the autos through apps. Might take an additional minute or two, but chances of getting ripped is less. Haggling with these idiots is something you should avoid, you will end up loosing.
As someone who has travelled to Chennai quite frequently for the last couple of years, even Ola auto drivers haggle. Even worse, Ola cab getting us to the international airport, kept asking me to change to domestic airport for extra money and threatened to force me out in the middle of a traffic jam. Terrible experience.

200Rs in NOT an avg price for malls. Small theaters yes, usually in malls iv paid around 700 Rs. The prices can ho much higher as well.

Actually I've heard that in other parts of India, the theatre prices are significantly higher than what we pay in Tamil nadu. Theatre prices are much cheaper here.
