Great driving man, It would appear that your car is faster in the corners than the Porsche! I’m looking to buy a 2.5 Miata rn and your video is making it hard to say no. 🤘
2.5 miata is the way! My friend was driving the cayman and he was on stock tires and brake pads. He now has tires and pads! This year we should be really moving!
that looks so fun, love watching your down shifts. i just got a 2.0 nc1 like 2 months ago and wanted to keep it stock, maybe do some suspension upgrades, but you kinda make me wanna do the 2.5 swap haha
If I was to do this trip in my 2024 CX-5 Turbo premium. What you you recommend I do to prepare my vehicle? Spring kit, differen't tires, updated brakes? Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Best thing would be brake pads and brake fluid! Next on the list would be tires. Followed by suspension stuff if you want to get crazy. It all depends on how hard you’re going to drive :) The road is crazy twisty so you don’t have to drive like a total maniac(@me) to have fun :) and could just take your car up as is.
What kind of stuff do you have on your motor? Love your build even just from the inside I can tell it's super classy, I'm gonna get an NB soon and I'm intending to do NA, ITBs
@@Wandrew6691 other than the engine which is obviously superior what did you like more about it? @@DevasionX really the only thing better about the S2000 is the powertrain. The ND2 and NC weigh 400-500lbs less which is massive, still have double wishbone front suspension, more controllable and predictable chassis dynamics, and better steering feel.
@@minireviews829 only difference really would be how the tires feel, 245 on an 8” would be a tad softer/slower to react than on a 9” wheel. Tho it probably wouldn’t be that noticeable
So @junkyardspecial in the Porsche wasn’t holding me up, I’ve only driven the dragon once before so he was leading the way and I was following, sure my car currently was more gripped up but as far as speed we were prob identical. Next year will be a riot as I’ll be supercharged and the Porsche will have better tires and brake pads 🫡
Great camera angle! Love being able to see you looking ahead through the turns, excellent driving. I need an NC soon!
Thanks! Appreciate it! Can’t wait to go back
That national park looks like an overcrowded racetrack.
Tail of the dragon is just a highway. Its like saying the Great Smoky Mountain national park is crowded because I-40 runs through it.
Good noises and precise driving 🤤

dude, what a run!!
I would go here but there are always too many people.. I like to learn roads before I go ham
seems to have a lot better torque range from 4k up over the stock motor, must be hella fun to be able to power out of corners
Yea the 2.5 is the best thing I ever did to the car! Makes it a blast to drive
Nice driving. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you!!! It was so much fun!!!
Awesome video, thanks for sharing. What steering wheel have you got and would you recommend it? Cheers

It’s just a 2.5 from a ford fusion, stage one cams, intake, header :)
Damn that looks fast
We were scootin for sure! Had some cleaner rips with out the camera running
What did you use to film this? Thanks man!
GoPro 8!
What's faster out of the 2.5NC and S2000?
they are relatively similar. S2000 with a good setup will be faster, the NC is a better experience being lighter in my opinion.
I noticed you had an S2000. Which car do you prefer driving, the 2.5 Miata or the S2k?
Hands down the s2000 I miss that car so much. Biggest mistake I ever made was selling it. But with that said the 2.5 swapped NC is a blast

17x9 and 245 40 17

Thank you so much for replying to my questions. I want to find a wheel that has good control and dosent ruin the mpg
Wish the porsche gave you some breathing room, would've been better if he let you pass and tried to keep up with you
We werent racing though lol, I slowed down at the start to let him catch up.

Thank you 😊 Running a OBX 4-2-1 header and magnaflow exhaust. Intake is a Skuzzle Motorsport torqintake

Kelford stage one, wanted to go with Xerolimit custom stage 1.5 but I missed the run of them when I needed to order
