Damn. Love the definition of sacrifice you gave. Giving away something we’re fortunate to have. It feels like - in part- you’re saying that we have to stop and acknowledge that we are truly fortunate for the thing we might sacrifice. That sits with me differently than “I can’t or won’t hang out, I have to do x,y,and x”. It instead feels like “I appreciate the opportunity to hang out and I honestly want to, but my mission requires me to focus my time on _______”. One is easier and feels almost prideful or just lip service, the other is recognizing the weight of want, but feeling a conviction to pursue a deeper need. Am I in the ballpark of what you’re saying? I didn’t intend to write a long comment, but writing it out helped me process it and I’m too far in to delete 😂 Thanks for giving me this to chew on.
Update: Mission *Wild Mustang Rescue* Down payment secured 600 acres outside Winnemuca, and another 1/4 acre in town with utilities. Assembling a crew now to work the new Lithium/Gold mines to fund the ranch build. Looking at April. Gonna finish this last contract, then jump in a foxhole/get an extra job. Forget Nevada, and just sit here and mow down bills, and gather personnel,water and ammo for the big push in April, just about round up time.
This morning after this post...found my foxhole! Start 8am tomorrow at the scrap yard. Twist metal, until we hammer stones, then we will break mustangs.
