Hannah, I'm probably older than your mum, but going with you on these excursions is like being on a vacation with my best friend. Chatting away, pointing things out, laughing, complaining, shopping, admiring buildings, looking at places to have a treat, a drink and more! Your camera work is better than lots of other vloggers, believe me, and your mic worked really well. It helped make the noise more of an unnoticeable background thing. Didn't bother me at all. I hope you bring us back to this area again as I never made it there during my visit to London.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
So agree.
Yes I am probably older than your Mum at 67 also but oh what a wonderful tour you give . It all looks amazing and the food choices, Wow !! Looking forward to the series and will enjoy for sure . I also follow “ Middle aged Minx “ who lives in Marylebone and is a broadcaster on BBC radio but you top her for seeing all the beautiful buildings of London area and more . I am definitely a loyal follower of yours Hannah. All so good , thankyou from Australia 🇦🇺 😊❤
@@helenross7751 Glad to know I'm not the only one over 55 watching Hannah!
Perfect description of why I watch as well
This Vlog is the fastest 28 minutes on You Tube! There's never a dull moment! The camera work was fine--clear & well defined--professional! Yes! Please take us to Dine at the Chilton Firehouse! It is a Joy to walkbout anywhere with you❤😊
Feels like 5 minutes 😂
oh thanks so much!!
Hannah, you are a great tour guide. Personable and full of energy.💖
Your neighborhood visits are always special. Please keep taking us along.
Done that run from Baker St tube to Marylebone quite a few times. The Metropolitan Bat above Baker St station is pretty cool, it's actually a Wetherspoons! For afternoon tea the Landmark Hotel opposite Marylebone station has a beautiful palm court restaurant.
What a buzz of energy Marylebone is! You covered so much rich detail and make it look effortless! Thanks for all your hard work and sharing beautiful London🌸🇬🇧🗺️✨
Thank you so much!
Dearest Hannah, you knocked it out the park again. As an old Londoner I always pronounced Marylebone the way you do. Yes lots of 50s buildings because of the blitz and they had to build quickly and it would have cost too much to build in the same design and there wasn't the money we needed too much housing. I grew up with a massive bomb crater at the top of the road next to the school. I also remember when you had to book in advance to go there. Mews houses were comparative price back in the day to wages. Our old house which was large was £1000 ish in the 50s and my parents had to have a mortgage. Sorry to go on your vlog brings back so many memories. I was jn a show in a theatre in Baker Street when I was coming up to 4/5 😂. Thank you so much, hope you enjoyed the film.❤❤👋👋👵🏴
@angeladormer6659 • What a lovely and interesting comment! So very interesting and informative ❤! I’m from The USA 🇺🇸 but, my very favorite reading is the English Homefront during WWII. I know it was an awful time during the Blitz etc. But, Brits have every right to be proud of how they held on and, got on with it! Thank you ☺️
oh wow thanks for sharing!
@TeresaElizabeth06 Thank you for that. My mother and aunties used to have so many stories about how they coped during those years, but they laughed so much in the telling. So many things that will be gone when I am. We are losing the last of "the few" now. What an amazing generation.💗👵🏴
I love your architecture highlights. If you're ever in the states, I highly recommend visiting Chicago. It's architecturally stunning with plenty of shopping and restaurants.
Fantastic. Just love walking London with you. Coming from Australia 🇦🇺 this is such a treat. And you just get better and better. You make it look so easy but really all the effort that goes into your blogs is so much appreciated. The buildings are really gorgeous and I would love to live their. Thank you once again for all the work you put in to make us , your audience so happy. Have fun at the movies. See you next week.
Awesome! Thank you!
Loved this! I’m a forever “Marleybone” pronunciation kind of person and I laughed out loud at the guy’s reaction as he came out of the building behind you whilst you were filming your autumn outfit bit 🤣😂🤣
Hannah, you are just really nice to go for a walk with. Thanks from the USA
My old stamping ground in the sixties. Marylebone High Street was not a posh area at all, but had some interesting old (even then) shops. One housed a shoemaker/repair shop, run by a very ancient and skilled craftsman.
Trinity College of Music, opposite the Mandeville Hotel, was where I spent happy years. The Wallace Collection
Yes, please do a vlog on a lunch at the fire station or the pub claret. The interior just looks so lush and lux. Always the best, girl!
I love the walkabouts! Yes to more tours, mews properties, and meal vlogs.
Hannah, my husband and I loved this edition of your Vlog! I had never heard of Marylebone before, but my husband is a great fan of Sherlock Holmes, so seeing (even from the outside) the Sherlock Holmes Museum was a great treat! As for me, a retired librarian, I loved when you stopped by that wonderful little independent book shop. BUT...while I was glad that you mentioned that you can get books cheaper at the supermarket, I was yelling at my television that you can borrow books for free at the library!! So, could you please, in a future Vlog, make a stop at a public library in London (or near your home?) I'd love to see one and compare it to the public library system here in New York City. We both look forward to seeing you each Friday! With the time difference you are our dinner companion each week!
You can't film in libraries unfortunately!
What a lovely comment 💐
Another lovely London walking vlog. The ambient noises reflect the character of the neighborhoods. Will need to explore some of the eateries during our trip this fall.
Thank you for your positivity and giving up your time to show us around one of the most stunning and historic places in the world. Keep up the good work. Again a big thank you for all of your hard work with all your editing and post-production. I for one look forward to your guides and views of life. It's much more entertaining than mainstream media.
This is definitely my favorite type of your videos ! Truly enjoyed this one !
Always Worth the Wait.
Thank you for a lovely tour of London!
Long time ago I used to live in Marylebone when I was a pupil with a Qc barrister in London. Lovely memories. I was frequent to Seymour leisure for keeping physical fitness. Soon will be back to London. Can't wait to feel the life of London and doing luxury shopping in Harrods and selfridges. Hannah keep up the good work. Like the way your talk and same time showing relevant places. Must say that your precise editing of your videos as you talk is much joyable to watch.
As always…interesting, informative, entertaining the list goes on. Great to have you back Hannah, roll on next Fri 😊
You did extremely well Hannah. I had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!!🎉🌹🌹🌹
Happy to see you back on UA-cam @Hannah Ricketts
Really like your way of relaxed presenting and the perfect combination of beauty, style and substance.
Keep it up and hope you are all happy and healthy.
I was soooo looking forward to your vlog after a full-on week! Your walks are my favourite. x
My family history derives from this area of London for Generations. My late father had that same Volvo wagon model a 122S as Well!
These last 2 vlogs have just been the best thing. Great audio, visually eye catching video that is so easy to watch. Witty commentary! Just feels like we're out for a stroll with a good friend, and maybe we'll get a cheeky drink or nibble somewhere along the way. We love watching Hannah's vlogs, and it doesn't matter if we're looking at super posh brands or going to Poundland.
I love your videos, and especially love the inclusion of menus and prices. 💙💙
Thank you Hannah and greetings from Leipzig. I enjoy having my lunch while watching your wonderful posts. It's like sitting next to a beautiful fast flowing stream.
Terrific tour !! Back in the 90s I used to live in Chiltern Court, right in the corner of Baker St and Marylebone, this bring so many good memories. Loved it, well done !
Hannah I absolutely love you commentary (21:48) the words are priceless. I’m loving the content as always.
Hello hannah. Really pleased you doing a series of places around London. Very informative 👏 as always. London's best vlogger 🌟 I hope you doing well 🙏 😊
Great vlog as usual Hannah! Thank you! We went to the Wallace Collection in April. There was an area on the first floor in the left side where they had a display (free) dedicated to the Queens Corgi’s, it was cute. We also had lunch at Paul Rothe and Sons Deli, it was very good, bought a lot of bits in there too. Right down the street from there is a Lebanese ice cream place which was also very good.
Looking forward to Camden Market tour!
Love Love Love due to being at Baker Street many times not for Sherlock Homes but next door for the Beatles Shop ! Visited John's former residence where he recorded Two Virgins and Jimi Hendrix lived there for a time as well. Even Ringo lived at 34 Montagu sq. as well. I also have a funny story about Madame Tussauds. I visited it a few years back for the primary goal of seeing the Beatles figures. We got to the music section but no Beatles. I ask the reception desk and they told me they took them out for cleaning. They saw the disappointment on my face and offered a pass for another day but we had to leave London the next day -Of all things to happen. Anyway you are my favorite tour guide Hannah. Always a joy to watch and look forward to the next one.
Love watching your excellent and friendly vlogs. Living ‘Up North’ it’s a real tonic to see London everyday life and your honest views. You really cheer me up!
Thank you Hannah for such a lovely tour of Baker Street and Marylebone areas of London. It felt as if I was walking the tour with you! From NYC across the pond have a great weekend!! 💕
Thx Hannah for another wonderful tour of a really beautiful part of London! As usual, you showed so many places that were so interesting & unique! Hannah, I always look forward to what you have in store for us, & this vlog certainly did not disappoint! Have a great week Hannah, & I look forward to next week's adventure!
There is so much going on in Marylebone - you have enthused me to visit again soon. You must do another one in this area! I remember the Marylebone Hotel where I took the odd rest & had free olives & stuff since I was a regular. Wow! I am so grateful for your tour. Bless & you looked so happy walking around & why not - Marylebone is so cool1 Badger.
Happy Friday Ms. Hannah ~~ Saw both Indiana & Mission Impossible this week and you'll enjoy them both .. .. Fun .. .. Have a Great Weekend!!
Hannah, your videos rock!! Love touring with you and am starting to feel like I live in London, and that’s a good thing! Thanks to your videos, if ever I visit London I will have a sense of what’s where. Many thanks!
Another great video! I grew up in Marylebone in the 90’s and saw the transformation. Moved back to the USA when I was a teenager so it’s great to see how my old childhood area continues to change! Love your videos it gives me great nostalgia keep it up! ❤
Hannah whatever you show is always worth watching 👏🙂👋
So much great attention to details & stylistic elements ... your wonderful vlogs truly improve over time! We enjoy every moment of these laid-back & diligent live mini-tours ... Please keep up your lively & engaging work!
Lovely summer trot round Marylebone Hannah - great vibe with you chatting away nineteen to the dozen haha x
I would love to see a food review in the Chiltern Firehouse. I have heard of it before, but never knew exactly where it was in London. Also I love when you get excited about seeing dogs as they walk by. I have the exact same reaction.
Loved the video always enjoy them ❤
Love all the architecture you share! Please keep sharing.
Hi Hannah - I think this is one of your best vlogs, love love the architecture just like you. This is really making me want to do another trip to London. 🇦🇺♥️
Conran's....wow! There was a Conran's here in the US in New York, many, many, many years ago. I loved "window" shopping there as the prices were quite steep. Always love shopping and browsing with you, Hannah! 🌹
Thank you Hannah! I don’t think I’ve commented on your videos before but I’ve been loving your videos and as a creator myself I know how important comments are! Incidentally, I spent last Sunday walking through Regent’s Park after I watched your video where you went to Queen Mary’s Garden and then did a bit of a solo walking tour through Marylebone. Recognized so many places in this vlog and so fun to learn some extra bits about places I walked by last week. Looking forward to your next vlog :)
Great video. I lived on Marylebone high street for a year at the end of the 80s before moving to New Zealand. Wow how it's changed.
I tried the raspberry cheesecake in Selfridges store, just OMG best cake ever!
Hi Hannah
I love looking at old buildings they have such character.
Great Saturday afternoon fun.
Enjoy ya bike ride home
And ya film
Take care
Love Kim x x
So great having you back. Always look forward to your video every Friday.
Mark in Michigan.
London is such a vibe! ❤
Your videos are so brill. I live not far from a far few places you posted on and have still despite being a Londoner for all my life(bit fed up of it) have missed some gems that your vlogs point to. Plus the menu captures really help, as I might drag myself into a place because of your comprehensive help. I have health issue that makes getting about when I'm in a flare hard work. I love Marylebone and usually visit at least a fair few times a month (miss Anthro but hello Sezane and goodbye my dosh) Plus, can I please just say how much I appreciate your honesty and commentary. London is horrendously expensive and your wit sums it up in the nicest way ever.
I was walking in this area on Sunday. You made me feel so much better now for not getting a seat at that brasserie on the corner and “settling “ for Cote next door 😎 Eggs Benedict, espresso and a Mimosa in the sunshine was lovely 😋
This was great Hannah 😂we visited madam Tussauds when we were children and we loved it 😂😊
That was fun, thank you Hannah!
Thank you, Hannah for more tips. I love that you include brief reviews of the places you show. 👍
thankyou hannah for another fab loverly blog plus much appreciated.❤😊
Really great tour...brought back a lot of London memories for me...and you always put your heart in these trips..Thank You!
What a fun walk! I MUST check out this area a bit more on my next visit to London. That book shop would suck me in!!! 😄❤️
Lovely video Hannah! Always a pleasure...
So good love the travel tours your vibe and your energy. So glad you’re back.
🎉whoop whoop my Fridays are back ❤ love love loved the blog
Also at Marylebone and Baker Street area is the Landmark Hotel. Beautiful in there for tea. I too have not been to Madame Tussaud’s, not into wax figures. And the Wallace Museum. Used to love going to the Conran shop for a tea and sweet in their cafe. And the Fromagerie Cheese shop. And Designer’s Guild shop to buy my travel toiletries bags. Just love love that area to leisurely walk. Love Daunt books too, so cozy inside and another favourite shops is Cologne and Cotton. Thank you for this walk, my absolute favourite area to spend a full afternoon.
The Wallace Collection is on my to do list the next time I am in London.
Thanks again for the video. The book shop reminded me of Aziraphale's in Good Omens. I loved that show.
Your videos on the mews houses is how i found your channel. I stayed for the special events Christmas jubilee stuff thats unique to the UK

Thoroughly enjoyed it as ever. Our London has so many unique and historically interesting places, I love that you have eaten out enough to give an honest opinion Hannah. LOL, I have done the Sherlock Holmes corny residence and museum,,, so much fun with friends.
Loved the vlog and saved for a London visit. Made me chuckle when you said 1972 quite old!!! I call it the 48+2 club!

Top job yet again Hannah! I had no idea there was so much going on in Mary Le Bone. You should offer very expensive guided tours.

Hannah your starting to change my mind on what I should be doing when I get back to London. I feel like I should just walk around & eat drink & be merry forget the tourist stuff lol Am going with my sister she has never been my hubby & her hubby don't want to come so will be such a fun trip. But we are going to have at least some days of walking the streets & eating & drinking!!! Love whatever vlog you give me hope your having a lovely summer!
Thank-you, Hannah. I so enjoyed this. In the late 60's, early 70's, I had a 5 bedroom, 2 bathroom flat in Salisbury Place, just behind the Marylebone Town Hall. It was such Magic. I have been living in S Africa since 1975, but my soul is still in London.
