    • @ToastedHashbrown
      @ToastedHashbrown 2 роки тому

      Because the "war" in Ukraine is a nothingburger. Corrupt media wants you to think Russia is more worser than Hortler and Drumph combined on a unicycle duel weilding machine guns and eating ice cream sandwiches riding up a mountain backwards while still commanding their own deep sea underwater armies of white men who all own rental property on the side and eat nothing but red meat while they salute the American flag every morning.
      And I would not be suprised at all if the "news" unrionically reported exactly this.

    My mom made these quite often. Not same as yours. On Saturday or Sunday we often have potato waffle. In potato waffle was sausages cut into small pieces with red and green bell pepper, garlic and rosemary. She used sharp cheddar, monterey jack, and smoked gouda instead. She never liked using process cheese, we stayed away from it. She made dipping sauce with cream cheese mixed in with cut up pieces of bacon, dice tomato, snipes of parsley with added herbs of basil and oregano (sometimes she add dill and thyme instead of basil and oregano or blend of all of them) and chopped caramalize onions. It was one of favorite weekend brunch after we finished doing weekend morning chores.

    The Joy of Cooking: I love how you sensualize the process of preparing food. The camera angles...the sounds...lifting a knife...sliding it through a potato...the sound of an empty pot begging for a purpose....the food is the focus...the technique is the topic...the chef is not the 'celebrity' so it could be me... First cooking video I have ever seen with no dialogue BUT, so clear, and loved your handling of the cooking implements with your little twist of the spoon. GREAT!

    I ate these when I was a child growing up in Germany. However my grandma didn’t put cheese in the middle, she put raw meatloaf mass in the middle and fried the Pattie’s, it was delicious served with tomato gravy!

    "New Idaho trick"?! Those are potato cakes, they have been normal in the south for a hundred years if not more.

      I’m not American, I live no where near Idaho and have been making mashed potato cakes since I was a kid and that was over 60 years ago. My grandmother made them and she was born in 1896. Fun video though.

    Esa receta es ancestral de mi país Ecuador 🇪🇨. La manera como la presentas en el video es espectacular. A esos pastelitos de papas los llamamos LLAPINGACHOS y son así de sencillos de hacer. Gracias por presentar al mundo nuestros Llapingachos ❤️❤️

    Made the potato and mozzarella cakes superb recipe. 2nd time I used instead of 30ml of just olive oil I used 15ml of garlic olive and 15ml of normal olive oil. Great taste if you like garlic

    Ymm....both recipes looking SCRUMPTIOUS, the first is similar to what we make here in Mexico as Tortitas de Papa con queso but the second recipe, WOW! 5 Star Breakfast to have that fancy and SCRUMPTIOUS Potatoe Waffle with 2 slices of cheddar cheese and a slice of yummy ham, even better if the ham is honey cured! 🤤 Thanks for sharing, 👍and greetings 👋from central Mexico! 🤠

    Those waffles.. 😍 Your content is so aesthetically pleasing n therapeutic.. The first recipe in India is called a tikki, we shallow fry it a bit more n skip the cheese. However my Mum sometime add the cheese for gooey effect. For the exact street food version, add some beaten yoghurt, chopped onions (fried would be delicious too), chillies, spices, n chutney or some tangy sauce as garnish. Another yumm recipe using boiled potatoes is sruffed parathas, which is basically a fried (or baked) flatbread stuffed with boiled potatoes. Add some spices, chopped onions, chillies, of course salt to the stuffing. Serve the hot flatbread or parathas with butter n curd n you're going to lose yourself in the deliciousness 😊 Of course it's a heavy meals n serve as a full meal on its own.Do try some time. M going to try your egg n waffles recipes.
