Just do your best to take care of yourself and your body. If you've had the Fontan it's likely you've already gone through the worst of it. Science is constantly changing. You can have a long life.
My sister has HLHS and she is now 22 and also has liver cancer so she is getting a heart and liver transplant in about 2 years. She is happily living in London with her boyfriend who has one working lung!
Question: If you help people with unhealthy _human_ hearts to become healthy at the Heart Center, can the center do the same thing to _animal_ hearts? If yes, can you explain how you do it?
There is no “real cure” for this heart issue since we can’t reverse the condition one the baby is born, but here in the USA, we can make a circulation that is good for a baby with HLHS.

@@puvv She didn't need the surgery that soon which is good but she still might need it somewhere in the future if it all goes bad again.

My son did not survive this disease. My heart was broken. Until now. There is no cure for this disease in the Philippines
