Starfield | Neon Penthouse (Fully Decorated)

- Wanted to see what could be done with the Neon Sky Suite. In my opinion its not worth the almost 300,000 credits to purchase it. The size isn't so much the issue but the blacked out window and the loading screen balcony that you can't decorate isn't too enticing. Regardless i'm happy with how it turned out, I like decorating smaller spaces and this was fun to work with. The idea is more of a Pirates little getaway, auora scattered around the place, guns everywhere, and a pharmaceutical station where some chems get made. Hope you enjoy and it can give you some ideas for what to do with the Neon Penthouse.

Tip for anyone having issues with the misc/junk items sinking into surfaces or disappearing.

It’s frustrating that you have to do this but it seems to work, multiple people tested it and this was also a work around in Skyrim for a similar issue. If you don’t feel like going through the hassle of that every time, reloading a save has fixed it for me, one time I had to reload twice and it was fixed on the second reload. Only a matter of time until mods similar to Fallout 4 which make misc items static objects will come out and then this won’t be an issue. But for the time being, try that out and hopefully it works for everyone!

Wow! I bought this place last night, then reloaded the prior save to dump it, but daaaamn, you make it look really nice. Now I'm reconsidering. 🤣🤣
🤣 it’s definitely pricey for what you get but it’s pretty fun to decorate it, can make something nice with the space that’s there.

The lack of a window view kill most of these houses for me.
You can access this penthouse for free. You just can't use the elevator.
I agree, that’s why I think The Well apartment might be the best player home, or the New Atlantis Penthouse. Both have windows and balconies you can use and decorate.

Haven’t done mine up yet fully but got a double bed for me and Sarah to get jiggy plus I added her promise gift she gave me on top of the bed so she can always remember what I’ve done for her when I’m raw doging it

Nice. I won't even attempt to decorate an apartment again. I had started decorating the two apartments you can get in New Atlantis, the Well and Penthouse. I then left and returned sometime later to find both apartments completely empty and the game acting as if I had just entered them for the first time. All that decoration effort...gone. Oh well, I was the fool that decided to invest time in it.
Damn dude, I really have yet to have that happen to me but I’ve heard a couple people saying that. I’ve had the misc items sink into surfaces before but typically a reload fixes it. But I read this the other day, so if your having issues w the junk/misc items sinking try this out, it seems to work

Yeah, of all things with a price tag in Starfield, this is the biggest waste of money by a long shot. I was so disappointed when I first bought it. The damn balcony doesn't even overlook the cool side of Neon! I tried and tried to decorate it and hated everything I did. Ended up literally throwing guns, drugs, and empty beer bottles all over the place and now its home away from home!
yeah it really is a disappointment, could have been a way better penthouse. It woulda looked really cool if you could see all the neon lighting of the main strip through the window and balcony and then another balcony with a nice view of the open ocean.
Do you know if the decoration glitch is fixed yet on pc? The one where the items sink into the furniture when you leave then come back.

Do you build in FA76?
Back when the wastelanders update came out I played a lot of 76, made a few videos of my builds on there but this was long before I made this channel, and before they added the vaults and a ton of other cool stuff you could build at your camps.
Why wouldn't the elevator ride be the loading screen?
Because the elevator ride would take longer than the load screen itself, after some times it would become tedious. Works for Fallout 4 but not so much for Starfield.
