Yeah man, I agree. Ive never really liked d.va. defense matrix is my main problem. I would definitely like for it to turn red when its low. Oh i just came up with an absolutely terrible idea lmao. What if dm itself drains pretty fast, but damage taken gives a tiny bit of charge back, but not too much. If you miss a bunch you're screwed, rewarding precision. more mindgames instead of not being able to do shit for 3 seconds. Kind like playing a rhythm game with dm. I aint no expert and i dont play the hero though so i dunno 😅. But yeah she can be super annoying
DVA is more of a problem due to several reasons that even sombra doesn't have. She can delete projectiles that already made impact visually on the shooters screen. I can verify this for you with an old zarya clip during goats meta if you want. Her being able to get in and out quickly while having one of the highest health pools is also crazy. If she was forced to use defense matrix reactively in short bursts like a parry ability and also couldn't ult if the mech dies most of the issues would be gone. Considering the rockets which she can use during flying with dm out, didn't even launch with the game, maybe you shouldn't be able to deal damage while using a movement ability and blocking at the same time. Especially since said movement ability deals damage and knockback.
@ So having a timeable ability is less fun than just holding a Hack button and instantly removing key parts of a hero? Reinhardt without a shield, Moira/Sig/etc ult. The only counter play is to hope someone hits her or quickly LOS in less than a second. Dva has a huge hitbox who can easily be hit, has many abilities that bypass defense matrix and has to actually time her matrix to be able to eat abilities and damage. An old GOATs clip from overwatch 1 means nothing.
@@PapiBron You can stop sombra by being aware of her and shooting her... You can't shoot through DM, even if there's a 25 hp support you just mowed down, getting behind her frame perfect. I like how you hyperfixated on it being overwatch 1 and goats when nothing has changed in overwatch 2. Every fucking ability in this game that negates damage, does not visually show up on other clients until after it has already taken effect. She doesn't have to time it at all. They keep making it more forgiving by increasing duration and speeding up the cooldown. You talk like you don't play the same game.
dude, dva right now is filled with buffs from ow2. they reverted some but there's still a lot. she can explode anyone with little skill, 650hp and good mitigation, so yeah she does maybe need nerfs
Will you also be making a Sombra video? Sombra was fine until they made her be a solo queuers wet dream. For some reason the community and blizzard weren't happy with a character requiring actual teamwork.
@@BeastmanRage88 Current Sombra for me is a reflection of how much power creep she received over time. Especially her ability to focus down an individual, due to low cooldowns, repeated buffs to her weapon (spread reduced, damage increased, reload speed decreased) And the fact she has the opportunist passive + a new damage dealer in virus, which doubles impact and over time damage to hacked players. The short hack cooldown is a bit much, as is emp duration being buffed and doing 1/4 of everyone's hp as damage. In the history of balance changes logged in the wiki she was buffed multiple times over the first few years for the explicit purpose of it "feeling difficult" to infultrate, without regard for how much power a coordinated team has when using her properly. Her hack and EMP was repeatedly changed to enable it to disable more ults during cast time, and after activation. Her disabling a lot of hero paasives is also rough. As she is now, I feel she's just a different skinned tracer with more hp, that enables people with half decent aim to shred a player or block abilities without needing as much movement skill. There's also the fact that it plays like a personalized widowmaker in a lobby. If someone singles out a player as a carry, they can dedicate their life to preventing them from playing the game. Forcing said player to constantly be on the lookout, and a by product of her existence is she can keep an aware player jailed by focusing on their less aware teammates if they begin to try to have more impact again. If she was forced to completely decloak before hacking, shooting or using any abilities then she would automatically be severely nerfed. A 60 bullet magazine with a low spread and fast fire rate that can headshot and be damage boosted by the wielder while the same kit also has a damage over time effect that doesn't go away on her death is insane. Nearly 90% of the ranked community is plat 1 and below. And the quickplay community having a sizable portion who has never, or barely touched ranked. However, due to the lower mechanical demand, a player in these ranks can abuse sombras "dueling" potential to turn the lobby into a series of random 1v1s or fuck over players who are outplaying their counterpart without being a smurf Being able to hack or start a bursr combo, or even ult from invisibility is too much free value.
And I swear she's even worse in this 6v6 experimental. I'm telling you, she has another tank to protect the team so she can literally go in, and one shot any squishy with rockets while knocking you back with zero counterplay and she lives bcs she's too tanky XD she's such a stupid hero
Zenyatta with some wise words at the end.
The problem with Overwatch is the Tanks don't act like tanks, the Healers are DPS and DPS are just there being a weaker support.
Supps and Tanks overshadow DPS to much
This DIVA doesn't love DVA
