How To: Use Multiple Lightroom Classic CCs on a Mac - Tuesday Tip
Вставка
- Опубліковано 21 жов 2024
- In this weeks Tuesday Tip, I talk about why and how I run multiple instances of Lightroom Classic CC on my Macs. It's a technique that my good friend Matt B from BSC Photo showed me years ago and I don't think many people are aware of it.

steve you have saved me DAYS of work!! thank you!!!
Your videos are of incredible quality, you are really about the work Steve. Props to you
Thank you!! I'm always trying to work on the blend of quality information/entertainment factor/length of time. I appreciate the feedback.
I have no need for this right now but I LOVE knowing that I can!
Great info bro. I might try this soon.
Yes! Thanks. Managing multiple catalogs has become a way of life, so this is super helpful. Let me know how it goes and if you have questions.
So you’re saying I don’t have to stop and have a coffee while I’m exporting 🤔
Nope! I mean, definitely still grab coffee, but you can keep culling/editing and processing! For the sake of length, I didn't show every step. Would something like that be helpful? I'm thinking of doing a full length, multi part workflow series.
I think this had enough to get me up and running. Will be trying it soon especially since I work almost exclusively off an external hard drive. Thanks! BTW got my umbrella you recommended from amazon. Can't wait to give it a try.
thank for info but its not working i have try
Ah, bummer. Some things to make sure are that you're using Lightroom Classic. It won't work with the version titled Lightroom. And make sure it's installed on your computer first (also, make sure it's a Mac - I don't think this will work on a PC). Then copy (don't move) the Lightroom classic app from your applications folder to anywhere (typically the root/1st level) on an external hard drive. Hope that helps.
