It is a little twitchy at first, small wheels and an upright stance contribute. However you quickly get used to it. Track standing not an issue and the ride itself...well, you would never guess it was a folding bike. It is solid. Best commuter bike I have had to date.
Periodically keeping an eye on the Helix, I only wish I had the patients and faith. I will investigate the availability. Looks great, hopefully rides so too. Please post follow up videos of your experience with the bike. Thank you.
have you tried bringing it inside a grocery store for example or a mall? Easy to maneuver around? And did the stores allow you to bring it folded inside?
I have not, but it fold so small it would be hard to argue. At my office they do not allow bikes in the building, but once folded it was fine for me to take this to my desk.
it's an amazing video man. can you make a closer looks video about all the hinges mechanism, the durability of the hinges, and all that stuff? is that possible to change the chain and the gear with carbon belt? what about electric rear hub? and what's the cons of helix? sorry I got a lot of questions. i really curious about this bike 😁

I don't know exactly what there problem was, but I received an email from them in January this year, saying: "It has been an extremely difficult year for this project, but despite all the setbacks we have achieved and learned a lot. We believe the hardest part is over and our production rates keep ramping up. Please visit our website to join the mailing list and we will keep updating you on our progress."
The first unboxing of Alfine 11 speed Helix. Congratulations!
The Alfine is pretty good - a great range of gearing and it has trigger changers so nice and easy to use.
Congrats bro! Must have felt like an eternity!!!
An eternity and a half - 2.5 years longer than I expected. I've moved house and job since I ordered it :)
Richard Haigh I moved to another country, changed 3 jobs, got married, got my baby born))
SO, how does it ride?!

How much the price
Are you still happy with the bike? any issues?
Very happy. It has been back to Helix once for steerer work but everything else is great.
