Traditional Swiss Dance

Traditional dancing performed at Evolene (Vallais - a french speaking state in Switzerland). This was taken at a Mid-summer festival in 2012. The group is called ''L'Arc-en-ciel d 'Evolene'' meaning rainbow.

I worked in Evolene while I was in college, back in 1983. They did this dance then--and the costumes are exactly the same (I have the photos). My boss and his wife dressed me up in Swiss national costume for the occasion. I'm Indian, so it must have looked strange.

Yes it come from Switzerland, you know in the different canton the clothes are not the same (woman are traditional, guys are a little bit more modern)
