1st, it's really weird to watch you watching cut scenes... 2nd, This lets play is so unique. Seeing your perspective as a speed runner, is so different then watching a casual players play through. You go into so much detail dissecting the movements, attacks and abilities, and it's super fascinating. Can't wait to see more!
It's so weird. Despite only watching playthroughs for the players' reactions to the story, I actually found this to be one of my more enjoyed playthroughs.

The friggin joy of discovering a new game mechanic is why i watch this. Even though I am playing through it I don’t pay as much attention to these things, but then like with Kh2 i wanna learn how things work.
@@thehypershon4064 yes he or she did, it's just a thing they do over there. If a voice actor dies, they leave the character "Link"ed with no sounds either, as respect, respect and to not muddle their name, Who would want to be over voiced just cause they died? Kinda rude eh?
All of the cutscenes in this game feel like they go on for like a second too long They just dwell on a character's face in awkward silence and then jumps to the next line or scene. It feels weird
after playing the game for 1st playthrough, here's quick thoughts on the combat for me: Pros: - While it's a bit floaty, it's not as floaty as many think. If you just change the way your combos function, they can end fast enough so you can move again (combined with dodging and blocking during combos). This makes the combat feel like a combination of KH2FM and 0.2 in terms of speed and gravity, though it's close to 0.2, which isn't a bad thing. - TONS of options during combat. Not much else to say. - if you play the game the normal way of leveling up, physical strength seems strong in the his game compared to previous osaka games, while magic still seems very strong, though is the preferred choice in my eyes. - being able to switch between keyblades adds diversity of different playstyles. - Most of the bosses (90% of them) are well designed and a massive improvement than previous osaka team bosses. Plus revenge value returning and working properly makes humanoid boss fights more fair and fun to play against. - Since the game focuses on mob fights the most, having lots of crowd control abilities, including the ones you get at the beginning, makes up for it and makes the fights easier if they end up too hard. Cons: - Camera angle is incredibly awkward that takes a while to get used to, but can make it hard to react to moves that occur off-camera. - Attraction Flows is weird, as they're either too strong or just happen too often to make them look OP. Hopefully they can fix them in future patches by allowing us to turn them off or tone down their damage. - Most links I felt were useless outside of Simba. They either took too long to finish or were too slow. I will play this game very soon on Proud level with Lv1 challenge, but so far, there's a lot of good things about the combat, but some of the flaws should be fixed in patches, but otherwise, it's my 2nd favourite combat system next to KH2FM
I found that all the links were useful for me. Well not useful more so usable. Ariel and simba are the best no doubt about it. But the others aren't bad.
I didn't like the humanoid bosses much. They were too easy, I rarely ever had to use guard on any of them, and none had nearly as cool a moveset as the Lingering Will or even KH2's Organization XIII. I think the combat system improved aside from attraction flow and a few other things which might have added depth to combat but lack of difficulty made unnecessary (i.e., bloat).
I want them to fix it by adding 3 new modes. Critical. Master and Impossible. Thus giving everyone the option they would want. unless beginner is somehow too hard for you lol I'm gonna safe bet and say even a little kid would destroy beginner. Critical will lower health and mp by 25%, slightly weaken all attacks you use. Bosses will hit 25% harder than proud. Master will lower your health by 40% of proud, and mp by 30% of proud, Stats will go up only 75% of what they normally would.. Their cap would be lowered by 30%. Will lower Attraction damage by 80%, gives you some really cool master And up only special skills and attacks.. makes bosses hit 60% harder than proud, "limits" of all forms will do about 40% less damage. Impossible will 60% less hp and 45% less Mp than proud, stats will only ever go up to half of what they normally can, and at half the speed, aka level ups will sometimes only give abilities. Attractions will be the same as master, Limits and summons of sorts will do 75% less damage than proud. Magic will cost way more mp, there will be no way to lower mp by more than 30% of what it costs. bosses do double damage than proud does, It will test your ability to not only dodge... but to use every skill and trick in the book to take down even the simplest fights. It will truly be a godly run, Only meant for people who are willing and skilled. No normal joe could beat that mode.
@@KevinEontrainer381 I wouldn't mind attraction flows if they did the following: - tone down damage - make them abilities to turn off/on - make it so we can only use attraction flows once per fight.

The magic in this game is kind of broken. It's not just the spamming, but there are items that when combined can reduced your mp cost to 1 for everything but cure. you can effectively spam any spell around 130 times depending on your stats. Granted, you have to do quite a bit of grinding to find all of the lucky emblems, but you could easily grab all of them on a normal route of each world apart from Olympus. That would maybe add 10-15 minutes to a run, but the end result is you can firaga spam each of the final bosses. Probably not an optimal strat, but I'm gonna explore it a bit. Sounds OP

There are so many questions I still have about Kingdom Hearts and the many things in it. None of them got answered in this game! The biggest one that comes to mind is: What is a world!? Yes, I know there is a whole wiki explanation of this but it doesn't actually answer anything. Like... what is it really!? Are worlds just chunks of land floating in space with one location on it? (i.e. Hollow Bastion). Or are they actually a whole planet of which we visit just one place? (i.e. In the Hunchback world of KH3D Paris got mentioned by name. This would mean that the rest of Earth also has to be present and following a history similar to what we know). But if a world is literally just the one location with a bit of surrounding land, where does the public transport go in places like Twilight Town? In KHII it was a big deal to get a train ticket. And what about local businesses? Where do they get their produce? We see things like suns, stars and moons in the sky of these worlds, this would mean they orbit a star and are often orbited in turn by a moon, kinda like Earth, so if I were to shoot a satellite 150km straight up, what would I see if I looked down?
I dont think that question is something meant to be answered. The definition of what a world is in the KH universe is meant to be open to interpretation while you focus on the plot. Kinda irrelevant tbh, no offense.
Brandon Brown Consistent world building is not something that should be left open to interpretation. Plot and character motives can be left open, but not the environment they occupy. That's just bad writing and it's the reason why I love and hate KH at the same time.
Wait you’re playing the game watching the cutscenes and doing even the skippable fights? But you’re a speedrunner lul xd. This game is just mindblowing.
The first playthrough is the time to enjoy the game, explore grind and whatever you want to do, then you move on to platinum and/or challenge runs. Even for speedruners
To be fair BB, Sora did have Kairi's heart inside his for a spat, and once Riku-nort pointed it out in KH1, he seems to recognize it, so its not entirely outlandish that Sora could notice another heart inside his after that. Nomura writes a LOT of nonsense, this is not one of those moments.
I wished I watched this live because I kept screaming at you to USE WATER ON THE FUCKING FIRE!! 🤣 in Hercs world you kept ignoring the fire and it’s like, ya got the water for a reason yo!
Anyone else notice kh3 has a pseudo combo master? Only the first hit needs to connect and the rest of the combo will play out. Additionally, You can barely scrap the wall on the first attack for the full combo to play out without actually having to hit an enemy because scrapping the wall counts as a hit for some reason
Step 1 level until magic thrift Step 2 get all Mickey's and equip that accessory Step 3 Spam fire then spam Aeroga in same combo Step 4 ?????? Profit Optionally add in magic galvanizer for more oomph.

also, air dash into swing into airdash into swing and repeat, you can get a glide-like movement tech
will you be doing anymore FFX speedruns ?
Just finished the game last nighy 41hrs all eblem all chest on proud 0.deaths this game needs a crit mode and attraction should be nerfed or setting to turn off
a setting to turn them off would be great indeed
You could just not use them.
Humble NZ i hope there will be a way to turn those off.... Because rbh i really dislike those
drfreshey well its not the same thing. Want to guess how many times i have used attraction flow and have to cancel it because i wanted to use other command. So just not using them is not a good solution
@@williambernkastelalucard7318 You do realize you can scroll through them, right?
There are so many questions I still have about Kingdom Hearts and the many things in it. None of them got answered in this game!
The biggest one that comes to mind is:
What is a world!?
Brandon Brown
Consistent world building is not something that should be left open to interpretation. Plot and character motives can be left open, but not the environment they occupy. That's just bad writing and it's the reason why I love and hate KH at the same time.
@@TheTattorack huh. I actually just disagree with you on that one. Maybe we look at video games from different angles on this one.
Brandon Brown
It's not about videogames, it's about standard writing practice in general.
@@TheTattorack dude thats legit untrue though lol
Wait you’re playing the game watching the cutscenes and doing even the skippable fights? But you’re a speedrunner lul xd.
This game is just mindblowing.
The first playthrough is the time to enjoy the game, explore grind and whatever you want to do, then you move on to platinum and/or challenge runs. Even for speedruners
Shikamaru Nara I know dude, it was just meant as a joke reference to the “But you are a speedrunner” argument
KH2 doesn't do elemental weaknesses so he neglected a huge portion of the games mechanics
I hope you do another video commenting on the floatiness on KH3, they got rid of that pillar finisher and it feels better than in the demos.
That feelz when bb still thinks there is a crit mode.
BB. Please put on the water cufflink. Waterza is so good.
Xbone preorders got it the easiest, imagine having Thundaza at the beginning of the damn game.
I find it interesting that zero exp is on every difficulty.
Love how much you think about and dissect the game and cringe when they push the cheese too far.
Keep up the good work!
When's the first time he uses Starlight's finisher Ancient Light? Been looking for it but can't find it. Trying to see his reaction
Found it for anyone curious. 2:17:45
Already beat the game yesterday on Proud mode of the bat and got the Ultima Weapon tonight.
Worth the long wait without question
@bl00dybizkitz did you get copyrighted too?
Step 1 level until magic thrift
Step 2 get all Mickey's and equip that accessory
Step 3 Spam fire then spam Aeroga in same combo
Step 4 ??????
Profit
Optionally add in magic galvanizer for more oomph.
too bad by the time you get mickey clasp, you can already vaporize entire mobs with a single Thunder.
Hey Bizcuitz, you mind telling me what kind of TV you are using? I have a slim too but I’m having issues with the graphics and frame rate
I can see the titans being a problem during a speedrun
What do you think about the combat? Better or worse than 0.2?
Better imo
@34:30 water does do damage before it shoots out. Just not much.
14:39 When the Kingdom hearts music kicks in
Is there gonna be a part 2 bb?
I fucking died when he opened up the notepad
How long does it take to upload video of this length bb?
This is what the cake looks like?
Will you do a video about how you were wrong about KH combat is going to suck in KH3? :) i feel its KH2 level and they listened to the complaints from 2.8
happy you are enjoying the game, same here.
how does he have the starlight keyblade?
Orlando Keyes promotion on the mobile game
He played KHUX which gave him the Ephemer keyblade like 20 hours before he's supposed to give it to you.
when ur impressions n thoughts bout the mechanics?
My only gripe so far is that Sora Runs so fast. Anything else feels fantastic
Obviously it was needed because traversing to bigger worlds.
41:16 OH MY GOODNESS MY FLANKS
Edit
1:30:06 Bizk, you know that you were trying to figure if the animation for water could damage... you have our answer there. You can :D
Hope you can notice
apparently the whole reason they added water as a spell was to show off the water tech they came up with
does he ever find out waters wind up does damage?
"Mm mm, not that one!"
Flash forward to speedrun routing for this game, and... oh. Oh dear.
Well, shit.
Come on down to Yen Sid's discount keyblade emporium. Buy one get one half off.
Now to wait for part 2
When's part 2?
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS YOUUUUHHHHH
Whens the world record run coming
How did he get starlight so early in the game?
David Phan He completed the KHUx minigames and got the code for it.
Or the keyblade graveyard in game
What about part 2 :(?
why did he disable vibration? he isnt speedrunning the game
The script knows underprecedented isn't a word... right?
No shit Hayner was the one that said it it was supposed to be stupid
how did you get starlight that early?
Starlight is from playing classic kingdom in khux. I think its still available to do?
I’ve always wondered bloody why is that you always turn vibration off?
im curious too lol.
@@Jay-kx4jf it's a preference. some people just don't like it too much as there's no real reason for it
Sometimes the vibrations throw off your aim or make you hit a wrong button or other small things that can add up
Could someone who's already seen this (or the stream) give me a TLDR of Bloody's opinions on the game? I can't really watch this yet.
He likes second form a lot, He likes the overall feel of the game.
Does he know how to read a description fully before talking?
I get what you're saying, but to be fair, it is basically his job to keep talking. He has to keep an interesting stream going.
How do you already have Starlight???
Union X phone game event. His UX username is also in KH3 during THAT part, as is mine. :D
