somehow did not expect a song called "Wet Texan" to slap this hard
lmao
I'm a wet Texan and we always slap hard
I hit my Foundry Reserve the same way with the "oh God please don't crack" technique.
Also gets the best sound
Adam is a beast for sure!! Such powerful drumming yet he makes it look so effortless!!
Thank you! 💜🤘🏼
Hell Yeah!!! Something different and worth watching! awesome ADAM.
The fact that I almost instantly knew this was a Nick DePirro track before looking at the description is a testament to that dude's playing and tone. Sounds like a Night Verses b-side. Love it.
This video shows how beautiful DRUMS are 🤍
This song is sick. Great playing, that Foundry Reserve sounds so good.
I bet his cymbals never crack
Instantly reckonise the guitar work
Nice job Nick depirro🤘🏻🤘🏻
Those colours are damn pretty
Best Drum sound Adam has ever had!
One day, one day I got to get me some meinls, they sound beautiful no matter the style they fit the bill. Not to mention Adam is a badass drummer as well.
💜💜
Well...time to get some meinl cymbals!
I've been researching for a year for a new set up and Meinl is definitely it! 👌 Adam's playing is fantastic.
Cool guitar riffs. Beautiful drum execution!
Nice groove Adam congratulation, and a Happy New year at the drummers of the world.
Somehow these riffs are resonating exactly with my current feelings. Love it!
Excelente, Adam. Você é o melhor.
Everything sounds great on this video.
Super solid as usual!!!
Dang, amazing playing as usual from adam, i get some night verses vibes.
Well, it was written by Nick DePirro of Night Verses, so there's that... 🙂
@@meinlcymbals oh hell yes, totally didnt notice that
I need an album from you two already!
Such a cool sound.
Amazing drummer
Great job. I love your style! Killer!
Drummer favorite, goodjob🙏👍👍👍
Adam never disappoints, plus this song sounds like Nightverses but more straight foreward...this slaps hard
fantastic!!
That was awesome!!!
great music
Gracias
As usual... One like is not enough Mister. *Awesome* greetings from Guatemala Central America. 😇 ✌🏼
Dang! Excellent!
I NEED more videos of Adam slapping a china
Meinl + Pearl + Evans = The Perfect Kit !!!!!!!
That huge crash is awesome
Excellent. Прекрасно!
This reminds me of Night verses. Very cool
That was written by a member of night verses, that's why :)
@@theguy4361 I find it funny that Aric Improta has also appeared on meinl's youtube channel and he's apart of night verses lol
I like the snare sound
He could have added more in some areas but I'm glad he didn't. Sometimes less is more. Great song collaboration, everything sounds awesome.
Great job!!
Where ever Adam goes , atleast one Vintage crash follows.
Best sounding one
Always! 🤘🏼
Thath RIDE!!!!! crash and beautifull ping ... Woaw!!!
Now i have an urge to watch some action anime.
Moistend North Carolinian
Vaguely damp Idahoan
LOL
Yes sir
Spreadin’ the butter on that ride
my dream is to be sponsered by meinl!! the meinl byzance medium 20 inch crash is my favorite cymbal you guys make, i use it as my main crash :)
Meinl do the world a favour and make this guy a meinl artist.
Andrew Allen have you endorsed meinl yet? If you do that's one step closer to being a meinl artist.
@@connorcampbell144 👍🏿☺️
same here man! i fucking love meinl, we can do it!!
Flippin amazing!
Wet Texan? 🤠
Sounded great! What happened to your Sonor kit. With Pearl now? What series?
It's a rented kit. I think it's a Masters Maple Gum. His Sonor is at his home
Small snare, BIG tone
From Sonor to Pearl, unexpected change for me.....
1:16 i like it
I know it’s a Meinl commercial but where are the Sonors
What happened to his Sonor kit?
what's that snare??
I thought adam played sonar 🤔 what happened with that?
What happened to "Hey guys Orlando Drummer here and these are the cymbals I played in this video" ???
Replaced by a custom demo playlist in the description 😉
That China tho
So Adam is now endorsed by pearl
Reminds me of Payday music
The 3 dislikes are either bots or people who have no taste in music and no heart
Man that guy from Battlefield Earth has some serious chops!
ахуенно
This was a good one. Not too much. Just enough

*Battlefield Earth*
Well he’s not shit at playing drums! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
I like the different types of pocket styles that seem to flow in this mix. When the tom groove comes in, I feel as though that hi hat is a bit long sustain to get back into the tom groove, which the china might be a better option? Just a thought. I also feel that the first guitar riff verse could incorporate a little double pedal action to help set up the guitar pattern. I think this would have set up the harder portion after the high hat paradiddle interlude.
The only other thing that seemed like a hang up to me, was the fill at 1:27 where the snare is used on the upbeats, which a more natural feel would be to accent the down beats prior to a transition.
I like the transitions for the most part, the different pocket grooves, sounds, creativity and just the overall feel didnt seem all that fluent, but I guess that is why you are where you are and I am where I am. :)
Can’t hear the bass drum ..did u forget to mix it ? Cymbals are overpowering the kick drum
🐳
The choice of using so much snare sample in the mix is interesting...
The song is cool, but it kinda takes me out of the performance.
There are absolutely no samples or replacements in this recording whatsoever.
@@AdamTuminaro damn, then great job! The attack of the snare just feels a bit to snappy and consistent for me to assume it isn't a sample.
These kind of videos seem to be nothing more than selling tools. Is that good or bad I dont know. Kinda undercuts what preforming and creating music is all about.
When someone literally creates and performs music, but you wish they would just create and perform music instead.
Hi George, first and most importantly, thank you for taking the time to watch this or any of our videos. There is a lot of content out there so it's greatly appreciated that you would take time from your life and spend it on something that we created. Regarding your thoughts - at the end of the day, we are a business. We sell cymbals. Any content that we put out there is for the purpose of raising awareness for our brand, in order to sell, in order to stay in business, so that all of us that work at Meinl can put food on the table. There is no shame in that. That is the way business works. Just because our business is in the world of making music, it doesn't mean that we are restricted from selling because of some imagined standard of purity that an association with anything musical is supposed to automatically denote and that we have to be tethered to, in return hindering our ability to succeed as a company. If we were trying to sell you on a better way to make someone else's life more miserable, then I think we could be called out for selling you on an association that is less than savory. But we're not. We're trying to sell musical instruments that bring many joy. And from what I can see, we are doing that by simply letting our artists create music and perform to it. The selling is actually quite far down on the list as far as what you the viewer has to experience by watching our content. Surely the more cynical would extrapolate a pitch. But many folks don't feel the pressure of a sale and rather, they just enjoy watching some great drummers create and perform. I dare say we have a number of viewers who don't like Meinl Cymbals, but like watching our amazing artists demonstrating their craft. I guess my real point is, don't read so much into it. Yes, obviously we want drummers to buy our cymbals. But no, we are not going to give you a bunch of corny and cliched pitches to get you to do so. We're just going to give you what we'd like to see ourselves. If it makes you more of a fan of what we do, great. If not, that's okay too. Just enjoy the drumming either way. - Chris/Meinl
