Thank you so much!!! I never bought any of those products because I couldn't fathom spending that much money on every color that I would need!! Now thanks to you... I won't have to!!!
I used this for a large pumpkin stencil. It turned out beautifully. My sister even asked me to make one for her. Thank you for sharing these great ideas!
Thank you for sharing another great craft recipe. ☺️ I uaed your snow recipe, added white glitter to it (for the sun-snow look) draped it on the top of western style wooden letters I put on our stockings last Christmas, worked great, everyone loved it. God bless. 💖🙏🏻✝️
Awesome idea! All the recipes i see for texture paste use plain white paint so you have to paint over it...adding colored paint will save SO MUCH TIME! Thanks ❤
Thank you, just what I was looking for. I'm planing to stencil on a bookshelf and do a tone on slightly darker tone look and thought some texture paste would also help it show up.
Great Tip! I've boughtened expensive Dixie Mud before and will use this recipe to create my own raised mud when my bottle runs out! Great Tutorial Th Ankh You
I have not done it on concrete, but I’m sure it would work fantastic and just make sure to seal it. I would use a poly acrylic sealer and outdoors. Make sure you’re using an outdoor formula.
Oh my goodness Deidre! It's coming up to Mother's Day and I was searching UA-cam to find something completely safe for my special needs kiddos could use safely. Thank you again for sharing. BTW could you substitute cornstarch instead of baking soda ?
So glad it was helpful and yeah, I think you could use cornstarch. It might not be as grainy and hold together as well, but definitely give it a go enjoy using it with your kiddos.
Yes, I'm going to try both at home first. My kiddos have very different levels of ability so I'm always on the look out for anything easily accessible and ," eco friendly " as well. Because we're in the schools it helps both with expenses and the schools are very cautious of course. Thanks again, I am always looking for ideas I can use with my kids.
I’m looking for a product to use on wood. I will be making 1/4 - 3/8 inch dots that need to be permanent and not chip off. Will this recipe be suitable? Thanks so much
It may look great right when the craft is done. BUT how does it hold up over time. Just buy the correct product. They have done the QUALITY check. They have done the TOXIAN checks for combined products. Stop misleading people.

What is the cracking ability and can you coat it with a-poly acrylic when using it on wood, glass items?
I have found that it doesn’t crack at all for me and yes, you can seal it up with poly acrylic if you’re using it on wood or glass items
@@OurUpcycledLife Thanks for the advice.

So, does the hot soapy water clean the spray adhesive, too?
No video coming on how I do that
So you said you can use this on fabric so how do you keep it from washing off
It’s not washable for decor only
How do you get the stencil off after applying the spray adhesive??
It just peels off
Great idea! Do you think it would be durable enough to use of furniture (like on drawer fronts) with a top coat on top?
Yes, definitely
Thank you!
You can also use an old gift card or expired credit card if you don't have a pallet knife. 😉
Yep, that would work perfect
I save mine for just such purposes
Can you use this with wall paint?
Yes
I’m looking for a product to use on wood. I will be making 1/4 - 3/8 inch dots that need to be permanent and not chip off. Will this recipe be suitable? Thanks so much
It’s pretty sturdy but I would seal with polycrylic sealer for durability
Brilliant!!! And I just recently bought a ton of calcium carbonate that I now don’t need😏
Glad it was helpful!
How do you clean the adhesive off your stencils when you are done?
I just use hot soapy water and it’ll come right off
What is the brand adhesive what I'm using willnot come off
Can you use cornstarch in place of baking soda?
You can try I haven’t
Can I add mica powder to make it pearlescent?
Certainly! ❤️
Will this work on fabric
Yes, it definitely will
❤❤❤
3:55 What is the brand of spray adhesive is best for this? I have used dawn dishwasher soap it will not budg

How do you get the glue off the stencil ?

Is it possible to use this method on polymer clay?
I have not tried that, but it’s worth a go
@@OurUpcycledLife Thank you so much ☺️
Is this removable like chalk paste?
I find that it dries quite hard and you would have to really scrape it off
I didn’t see the link to how to make your own stencils.
ua-cam.com/video/24JL0wZSi5k/v-deo.html
Does it chip off over time?
I've seen recipes where they add some glue and use plaster of paris for better binding.
😲
Thanks for watching
I did this but used baby powder instead of baking soda
Yes, the baby powder would work also but I think that the baking soda dries harder
