I was just up the hill towards Druids that day. Interesting that the race wasn't stopped and the medical/rescue team had to carry on as cars raced past them.

It's like they rolled up tinfoil into tubes and used that for the frame..
He's not even going that fast and the car just crumples like a fizzy drinks can under a steamroller.

Hello, I have noticed that from 0:16 to 0:21, on the beginning we can notice a man, moving from the left to the right, he is taking something from the ground, then abandoned it on the ground, then use something else like the first, then make movement like wraping a wire on it, then put an end of it on the ground fastly, then acting like using a syringe as extracting something from the ground, and finally throwing that object away. All these actions follows each other quickly, in these few seconds. To observe this in all these details, we have to play the video, stopping and playing it very quickly and to replay it many times with this way (play-stop-play-stop...) and in the space 0:16 to 0:21, all those descriptions came very quickly due to the short interval of quoted time. All that I have previously written, is because it caught my attention, and I wondered, maybe it's an expert, as we can see another man standing with a uniform and a suitcase. Maybe someone observed this, it would be interesting to know if it's a "special" function in the world of car races, and in this case, was it in the past or also today ? Thank's a lot. Sorry for my English.

For how slow it seemed, that was intense. Anyone know injuries?

Thankfully I think the car had a roll bar that actually protected his head.
