@@julianaalves6591 yeah but homeland lost a lot of it's audience after those first few seasons where she won those awards so i think claire danes is underrated because not many people see her amazing work
If you ever get a chance watch Temple Grandin. One of the best performances from an actor I have ever watched.
This is one of the most emotional interviews I´ve ever seen. You can feel her feelings every second.
Claire Danes portrait of Carrie Mathison is probably the best acting I've seen on a tv-show. Perfect in every way! Claire Danes was born to be Carrie Mathison, her performance was stunning with no equals over the seasons.
Currently rewatching the show, she is Homeland. Something that I would not forget, for ever among my favorites. Claire Danes is an outstanding actress, what a remarkable job she has done in this unforgetable role.
We can say that Carrie was one of the best-built characters in history - alongside Saul, Brody and Quinn... It would be possible to clarify the following doubts:
- Would you like to see Homeland reveal how the CIA explained Brody in Iran and his death to the American press?
- Clearly, Javadi's ability to receive credit for Brody's capture helped his cause in Iran, but did the US government reveal Brody's role in Akbari's murder?
- Was your name cleared for the CIA attack? I'd love to know what you think.
- Another loose thread: Paul Franklin and the murder of the "real" CIA bomber. He ended up doing that scene ... why ??
Carrie was publicly humiliated, beaten, doped, shot and put her life on the line countless times without hesitation, just to make others see Brody as she saw him ... and she succeeded. Abu Nazir, the CIA, Jessica and the show's own audience, no one came close to seeing Brody with the clarity Carrie has always seen. Carrie has always read Brody like no one else.
Ah, Carrie's dialogue with Javadi was incredible, it will be one of the most memorable moments in the series, without a doubt!
“And what you wanted, which was for everyone to see what you see in him. That happened. Everyone sees it through your eyes now ... ”
- How did Carrie see Brody? and how did the US come to see this? It's the world?
Have you received an answer to these questions over the last few years?
I will miss this series. But what an awesome series finale. There must be a movie in the works!
Just watched temple Grandin and wow. She is the best actress on this planet. Thank you homeland for introducing me to this wonderful actress.

I have bipolar one also ECT. Additionally I had to get off the Li because of kidney problems. I enjoyed the bipolar moments!

Help me out. Started watching Homeland with three episodes left in season 8. The last episode saw the president and cabinet members going into a safe room in the basement. After fingerprint the launch of missiles. Everyone was killed. Carrie shows up and breaks into the room and subdues the spy who was going to continue the launch of the missiles. Backup comes and treat the last member, spy, as a hero. Carrie is lead up a fight of stairs in front of spy. Handcuffed, Carrie kills the spy by jumping over him and choking him with the handcuffs on. Fast forward to the helicopter ride over the Patomic river, and an associate listens to Carrie say there are more spy's. When the associate believes Carrie, he gives her the key to the handcuffs and let's Carrie jump from the helicopter into the Patomic river. End of series.. Did this version happen or was it a dream.

It's a great sequel - a series of badly pieced together apocryphal but more like a series of stupid scenes that contemn logic. Ms.Danes both in character and as I surmise possibly otherwise scares the daylights out me - those eyes. She would be great in some kind of psychological thriller that would certainly succeed in establishing the verisimilitude that HomeLand missed. Well the name should have been "the PSYCHOS" not Homeland. Acting is over the top. And the ensuing razzle-dazzle - the HYPE." It is not deserved.
I have always loved Claire Danes since My So Called Life, and liked HomeLand for the first two seasons until Carrie got too insane for my tastes, constantly yammering on and stuttering a lot, not enough volume control and now it seems like Claire Dwayne’s is doing the same thing in her own life! SHE SUCKED and came off super strange in this video
both times you mentioned she had pregnancy brain. pregnancy hormones can mess with everything. pregnancy brain is a thing and that may be why she is talking differently. also, your vocal cords change sometimes based off the hormones. your organs are shifting. a lot is changing.
You're criticizing one of the best actors in the world and making a fool of yourself. As with many other internet critics, you don't have anything to back up your comments. You don't have a drop of talent. You're just another nobody with a big mouth who has nothing better to do then insult his betters. She is one of the best actors in the world for the past 20 years and I dare you to find anyone better.
