Haaland is the definition of "victim of his own standard"
He missed so many sitters this year it was embarrassing. He was mediocre all season.
His finishing was dreadful this season. He missed 33 big chances in the league
@@4ullerand yet he was still the golden boot, scoring more goals than aguero ever got in a prem season
@@OfficerPolynice he was injured for a long time... needed games to regain form... Was poor... But we all still need a guy who's poor season will still end up with 27 goals
@@johnsamuel8947 I’m not saying I want to get rid of him. But his finishing was just awful. Sitter after sitter. Maybe he was playing hurt.
Well done Shaka for correctly including Josko Gvardiol in your team. He’ll be in everybody’s Best XI next season.
Picking Ake over Gvardiol is crazy. Ake may be a little more defensively solid, but Gvardiol absolutely transformed that left side that they always struggled with.
Shaka has a large dong
It's funny how swiftly some of these pundits have gone from "Haaland will find it difficult to adapt to Premier League" to "Anyone can score goals playing for City."
Gabriel jesus didn't hit those levels. Haters!
Haaland missed so many sitters this year it was criminal. He should have had 40 goals if he could actually finish. And I’m a City fan.
It's funny how the top goal scorer who had an injury for 2 months is not included in team of the season
City are arguably better without him. Plus, he's top of the 'big chances missed' charts.
Harland is getting a bit over- rated . How could you score 4/5 goals against mid table and relegation team but disappear in big games.
His position and pure striker is what help . Other than that against a team that builds a wall or tight space, he will be invisible.
I rate Ollie Watkin or Isaak is a better forward than him
Craig front 3 is madness. He said Haaland wasnt particular good and scored penalties yet when you look at Palmer he's had more penalties making up his numbers than Haaland. His reason about City would win the league still without Haaland is crazy. The strength of a team is now disqualifying players. Interesting
You have to really put on all the clown make up to be able to say with a straight face that Erling Holland did not have a good season
These pundits don’t know what they’re talking about
Haaland's a 9 while Palmer's a 10.
But city would win wothout haaland and they were winning before he came too..
But the striker should also get the credit
@@user-dj7xq1qh9e not the champions league.
Frank is a dope. Mcallister over Rodri? Lol
Facts
Rice over Rodri??
@@ajnz2420ok any problem?? I guess u only saw city's matches..... Without Rice, arsenal would be no where they were this season
Rice is fine there, was a hugely influential player, arguably just as much as Rodri or greater. For me both served equal parts for their teams.
@@Narendra_Laden City lost every game that Rodri didn't pkay
Lmao City is too good. Their standards are so high even if they win this happens...
Standards for cheating are definitely very high
@@walkingalive189 come on those charges are yet to be proved and don't cry about those charges , it might be good for Luton town or Sheffield to say so but man utd Chelsea arsenal , they themselves are spending billions so focus on your football rather than searching for reasons to cope with your loss...
Ollie Watkins deserves to be voted the best striker of the season, he had 21 goals and won the award for most assists this season, while helping Villa qualify for the UCL for the first time in over 40 years.
Why does that qualify him?
He certainly showed some amazing " deft " touches on the ball ...
The funny thing about these clowns is that they don’t rate City players but their argument for City winning is because they have the best players. Make it make sense
Macallister of Rodri, in what world.
All top 6 fan channels and media pick majority of their players over City players for the last decade but when City win everything they'll cry that City has the best players we can't compete. I thought Klopp & Arteta are the ones working miracles since Pep apparently doesn't have the best players then he's the one working miracles. Just takes one Premier league title win for a red cartel team and suddenly they have multiple nailed on candidates for all time 11s. How about your so called current all time xi players go and defy human nature and actually defend any trophy for successive campaigns. And no, money doesn't do that as Utd & Chelsea have proved, neither does allegedly dodgy accountants(115) who can't kick a ball. It's a joke.

@@astro9219 still bitter, eh?😂😂😂
Shaka nailed it on the team. Ten Hag submitted one with Martial, Casemiro and Rashford.
HAHA
😂😂😂😂 that was really hilarious
Add the Brazilian spinner Antony.
ETH will have the entire MU team in it except Sancho
I needed Ale Moreno for this.. The most unbiased Pundit and Most Accurate Pundit ❤
Frank Leboeuf's Team of the Weekend
clearly.....frank was DRUNK when he made this team🤔🤦♀
▪︎City win Treble,4peat
▪︎When the best players
▪︎Are at VARsenal,LiVARpool 😂
I bet he was drunk - number one on any list study be Rodri - I don’t care about the rest
Not putting Halland when he is the top scorer 😅 He might not have the best season but he is still better than Palmer upfront.
Craig
Haaland doesn’t make the top 11 because he scored alot of penalties
Meanwhile palmer has scored 80% of the goals in penalties
80%
Are you serious
It's 9 of 22 in Prem Lg.
When math isn’t your thing, don’t try so hard.
@@devanshdwivedi8893it’s called exaggeration bro relax.
@@JoeCool90 it was still almost 50%....
Mac Allister over Rodri 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....this have to be comedy
Exactly bro have away goals to villa
he said he forgot rodri, you donkey
Imagine winning the golden boot and not being in team of the season 😂
That’s really ridiculous
The way they justify not including Haaland...shame
So can man city win the league without cole palmer? We already have the answer 😂
Yeah man these people just downplay city one of the best teams in whole of europe and consistent since years, Rodri foden haaland walker Gvardiol and even Kdb and Silva desereves to be on everyone's list easily
He’s a striker he’s not a winger lol his job is to put the ball in the net which he did 27 times
Nobody heard of Gvardiol, He did really well on the left hand side
So the winner of the golden glove is not in the team of the season
Frank is crazy not having Rodri is level above all those midfielder he choose
he forgot about him, but u still complaining 🤣🤣
@@XXBlueThanosXX How do you "forget" a player who has never lost a game in 75 matches?
I can’t believe you guys didn’t acknowledge Alexander Isak’s greatness this season 😤
Isak is black
He talks about haalands penalty and puts Cole in his top 11 ?!?
And he says that city could have won without haaland too, isnt it the same that city won without palmer😂
Getting some in champion league for first time after long time is a better achievement for this guy that some one winning 4 titles in a raw all of you are carpenters
I am 100% Arsenal but frank leaving out Rodri he must be drinking too much wine and putting vandeven ahead of gabriel
I thought City players were these superstars that Pep gathered from planet Mars. This shows that City is full of players that most top teams won't buy.
Leave it bro , frank is in a league of his own, He chose saliba as the player lf the season too , I respect saliba but i think players like rodri foden and Watkins have far bigger impacts than him for anyone.
@@NATAR160 exactly
What’s funny is that these lots spent weeks criticizing Arteta for picking Raya over Ramsdale. Since it ended up working out for Arsenal, these guys are pretending as if nothing happened.
Haaland would walk into any team in the world but not good enough for the idiots on ESPN??.... 🙄
Shaka Islop List is The Best so Far
4-4-2 and the midfilders are Rodri, Rice, Odergard, Foden. Stikers are Watkins and Halland.
Manchester city having very few player in team of the year just highlights how much of an underdog story City is for winning the league again. To do that without having the best players, wow.
These espn panelists are really buddies, they are close knit and like brothers.
Problem with Haaland is he didn’t score 75 goals. Poor
If the ones with 27 goals were Darwin, Jesus or Rashford, they would’ve give them the player of the season and asked for the BDO. The disrespect to Halaand after saying he would flop in the premier league is insane
Palmar score the most penalty in that 11
Not a Pickford fan but man deserves a shout
You got to love the pictures of the boys and then Frank's reversal on omitting Rodri
No yeah yeah yeah lol
The guy has personal issues with haaland.
As a United fan that hates City. You cannot leave out Halaand
At this point City players are on another level, the pundits are leaving them out because they are so good that it would look bad for the other teams 😂
2 players from the champions...frank is ridiculous
As a Liverpool fan, I would have Mac Alister, rice and kdb as midfielder
“Shut it froggie!” 😂
Didnt know ESPN were on UA-cam in the 1970's..... !!! ;)
Frank is hilarious; he totally did that list 1 minute before it was due.
Can’t argue at all with Craig’s team, spot on. If I really had to get some others in I’d maybe say White and Van De Ven but even still, probably not.
Unai Emery outdid himself. Well deserved
Shaka with the best team
For me. Martinez, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Gvardiol, Rice, Rodri, Foden, Palmer, Watkins, Haaland!!
Shaka selection is the best. That is a well organised team
Wait... 27 Prem goals, a bit off form and missed a third of the season through injury...
WTaF people?!!
Watkins, in a weaker team, scoring 19 goals without a penalty had a better season than Haaland, with 27 goals, 7 of them penalties, in a much strong team.
I know penalty are still goals, but in a crazy squad like city, he shouldve gotten more.
Frank World Cup winner but poor team selection no Haaland or Rodri. My advice Frank next time you choose a team of the year don’t drink wine
I think these guys know football until I see this🤔
The disrespect to Ollie Watkins is ridiculous
😁😁😁 So funny squads all of them.
This gives you an insight into precisely why players don't often make great coaches. Some very puzzling selections. High on emotion than solid reasoning.
Ex player's Don't often make great coaches?? Literally Pep, Ancelotti and Zidane are all ex player are one the best manager in the world right now LMAO 😂 Legends like Johan cryff who revolutionize football
Xavi, Antonio conte, Arteta, Alonso, Diego simeone, Roberto Mancini, Van Gaal, luis Enrique. The list goes on and on 😂😂
@@BruceLee1.03 out of so many coaches.
@@castilloricky85 read above ☝️☝️
@@castilloricky85 The best coaches are midfielders, provided they're not english. Look at Alonso, Zidane, Ancelotti, Pep, Luis Enrique, Conte, Arteta, Simeone, Unai Emery, Xavi just to name a few. Even treble-winner Flick was a midfielder. Modern football clearly favours midfielders.
As a Man U fan I can't understand how ETH wasn't in for Coach/Mgr of the season 😲 😂 what's wrong with you panelists 😂😂😂
They seen haaland setting the goal record in PL. It takes a lot to impress them now.
Shaka nailed it
No credit to Arteta. Most goals, fewest goals conceded, most clean sheets, most goals from set pieces. It's actually criminal giving this to Pep or Emery, particularly how poor Villa ended their last 10 games
Emery for me!!! It’s because he carried Villa from relegation to top 4!! It’s the best!!!
City scored most goals
Forget the Ballon d'or, forget the Golden Boot, these are the awards that the Premier League have been holding their breath for... 😶
Saka in the best 11 is a mockery.
did he just say we would’ve won the prem without erling haaland? the golden boot winner?
This is players that made impact all through d season & not players pity party of d season.
Dan 11:12 : "Surely the player of the season should come from the team that wins it." I'd love someone to ask him to explain that. By no means the first time he's confused individual and team performances.
👏👏👏👍👍👍i luv Craig's 11
how is Watkins over Haaland harsh Dan Thomas??? that's the right choice
i think pundits are paid to be just controversial
Incredible how every list was wrong
No KDB is a joke :D he surpassed the assists with minimum games
Seriously...no Ødegaard...best player in PL this season along with Foden and maybe Rodri
Frank Leboeuf is so thick and Burley saying Haaland scored alot of penalties and yet he's picked Palmer. And apparently getting a good Villa side into 4th is better than a record breaking 4 consecutive title. Absolutely braindead.
Amazing! Frank's team had 5 Arsenal players and they didnt win the league.
Enjoyed the guessing. I wonder if any of the teams could win PL with any trainer. Probably not.
I watch only Arsenal games and the big teams when they clash, so can't really select an informed x11, but for what I've seen:
Martinez, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Guardivol (due to the screamers), Rice, Odegaard, Rodri, Foden, Palmer, Watkins.
Watkins had the most Goals/Assists in the PL, 33.
Of that team 5 are English, then add Belingham, Kane to the mix and that's a team to win the Euro's and that's despite of the manager, not because of him.
Any line up doesnt have rodri is a joke... the guy didnt lose a league game all season
You guys ever think Frank Lebouf as a kid Looked like Hasbullah ? 😂 There is a big resemblance but you have to really pay attention 😂😂😂
So true!!!!
Mac Allister and rice above Rodri...madness
City winning game plan not giving more goalscoring opportunities for Haaland, has nothing to do with Haaland's abilities. Don't judge Haaland by Pep's game plan
So will anyone put Palmer ahead of Isak as the striker?
Eddie Howe finished about Man U with the most injuries in the EPL!
Unai Emery been able to do it because of Tottenham and Newcastle fallen apart or had problems?
Still did good job top manager
Anyone with a football brain and without bias would award the best player award to Rodri. Foden had a brilliant season but we all have eyes to see that regardless of opponent, City struggles big time without Rodri and if I am not mistaken, all the games they lose this season were without Rodri and that alone says it all
The funniest thing is all of you guys will never drop Haaland for any of this players you name in real life frank cant even explain his decision his confused as everything
We should give city the 115 FFP violation charges award!
Cole Palmer only scored 13 non-penalty goals. Great season but almost half his goal tally ( 13 goals, 9 penalty goals ) is penalty goals. That's in contrast to Haaland's 20 non-penalty goals ( 7 penalty goals ). So to pretend Haaland didn't have a great season because some of his goal tally is disingenuous.
Pep needs to be made a Sir
We must respect Isak
Cant w8 for another game for Hojlund nex season
Honestly for the keeper id get Pickford over Martinez. Id have Shaka's team but with Haaland upfront and Pickford in goal.
........................... Haaland ........................
Foden Odegard Palmer Saka
Rodri Rice
Gvardiol Saliba Walker
Martinez
Agree with Watkins 19 goals and not being 1st choice pk taker and Ben white for sure at rb
Ask Phil Foden which player he owes a lot of his success to ?
Haaland role change has helped City. Teams focus a lot and even more every trying to stop the big Norwegian
This helps players like Foden get more room .
Palmer or Saka would not have scored more goals than Haaland
Frank 😂😂😂
What happened to the City investigation? I haven't heard anything else about it. They just swept it under the rug again.
What shame they chosen martinez when he did blunders
Is Haaland better than Palmer? Yes.
Watkins should be there!!!!
How do you have Saka and not Bernaldo Silva?
La Liga awards coming soon?
How can the golden glove winner not be in the TOTS 11
Even top goal scorer is also not in tota11
In my opinion
The golden glove means you kept clean sheets
Does not mean the GK is the best in the league
TOTALY agree - I think ALL these pundits said the Raya decision was a BIG mistake....went on and on about it..... then they were shown to be ABSOLUTELY WAY off in their opinions and dont wanna eat humble pie and admits their mistakes - just Ego!
